I'm running cm11 on my galaxy fascinate and i try to play racing rivals, but it closes on loading page. Anybody on here play it with a modded phone? Any suggestions on how to get it to work would greatly appreciated. Also after uninstalling and re-install i get a "couldn't install on USB storage or SD card" message

1. this game MOST LIKELY doesnt support the fascinate or any single-core phones. a lot of things available on google play will actually install but they'll either run horribly or just not work, the latter being the case here. I dont have my fascinate anymore but i've had that happen
2. try installing the game with the SD card out of the phone.. AOSP kitkat doesnt like SD cards, that game by default stores its content on your card. i;ve had this issue with multiple games in the past and the workaround was to remove the sd card then install the game. try that

I did and same thing, so I'm guessing it doesn't like single core phones

I did search the forum first and didn't find the answer. Is it possible to have games installed on sdcard2 (gameloft, THD games)? If so how? I didn't know if the read/write speed was fast enough to do it. And if they can be do games play without lag? I ask because im almost out of room on my gtab.
I can't answer all of your questions since I rarely play games. However, if you install an app such as APP2SD, it will ask if you want to move a newly installed app to the SD card if that app is capable of being moved. Not all apps are designed to be able to be moved.
I have many apps that I have moved to SD and have not really noticed a lag....but again, I am not a gamer and only install games for my grandkids to use.
Try it and see, you can always move them back if they don't run well.

I tried 3 different kinds and they all force close when I tap on the name of a game. I'm running mountain laurel Tom and there's no option to move in settings

The ROM is not what gives you the option to move.....at least not on my tablet. First you install a 3rd party app such as APP2SD. When that app is installed, anytime you install an app, at the end of installation APP2SD will notify you that you can move that app to your SD card....IF and ONLY IF the developer of your app has built it in such a way that it is able to be run from the card.
I knew that part but none of those apps move to sdcard2. Sdcard is just the internal storage
Hi, i'm having some problems to download the SD cache of many Hd games.I'm doing it by Wi-fi and everytime its gets an error message and asks to restart the download. Sometimes they even restart from the begining...
Also, what's the difference from a game that's made for different models? How do i know if a samsung game for example will run in my sony ericsson?
Check graphic card, powervr or Qualcomm.

Don't let the screen go off, that works sometimes for me. Also, try to google the sd contents of the game, then just transfer it to your sdcard.
The difference is that some games are modified for a certain processor (armv6, armv7, etc) and certain screen resolutions. If the model is different but the specs are the same, it *should* run.
My music is currently saved on my external SD card. Every time I restart my phone, my music does not show up in the Google music app. I have to uninstall then reinstall the app for it to show in the app again. Does any one know why this happens and how I can fix it? I'm rooted but locked.

I have this same problem all i do is go to app settings and clear the apps data and force stop. Works for me but i don't think there is a fix.
I highly doubt this is a fix, but do you have download songs wifi only checked? When I unchecked that all my songs were deleted a couple of times. But after a while it started to work again. I dunno but you might want to try changing that and seeing if it fixes it

This is what pissed me off most about this phone.
Solution:
everyones best bet is to do the sd card mount swap.
if u didn't root, this is the biggest reason to. This switches the places of the 10 GB phone storage and your sd card. there are 2 threads about this in our development section. Find my post in either one of the threads and follow the directions.
I am even now so sick of the sd card not getting mounted on boot. But oh well cause I only use that 10 GB for ps1 games now. I decided to fill it with the most useless, replaceable files that took up a lot of space on the sd card.how they partitioned, and handled storage space on this phone is HORRIBLE.
This is the best solution, but u are still going to end up dealing with the 10 GB of space not mounting almost every time u start the phone. But u can just go remount it in settings. And I almost never have to do that cause I filled the space with ps1 games and only have to mount it when I play fpse.
Everything I just said is all over the place but go find the threads in development, I wrote everything much clearer.

Anyone else been using Aptoid? I've been using it for a coupld days now and it seems to be awesome.
My only problem is it seems to have updates even when google play store doesnt. Sometimes these updates worka nd sometimes it says
"App not installed an existing package by the smae name witha conflictin signare is already installed"
I use AppMonsterPro. It saves your sd card, not the cloud, but I have a 64gb card so I always have everything on there in case I can't access cloud or play store.
Okay so I use my Galaxy Tab E literally to play games.. I rooted yesterday with the help of the fantastic guide on this forum. The TWRP one. I only decided to root because I wanted to run the games via my SD card. So I again used this forum to find a way to do it and found someone talking about a thing called foldermount. So I did that and all the data is on my SD card yet it is still taking up the space on the internal side even though I've been through the file system and cannot find it. So I am wondering if there is something I can do to free up the space. The games I am playing are Fifa Mobile and Real Racing.. I had to remove Asphalt 8 and Angry Bird and a bunch of other stuff. I even disabled half of the crap google downloads into my tablet and uninstalled updates on almost all of the apps on there.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :good:
