I have been searching ALL DAY (literally) for an app that is like Smart App Lock where I am able to shut off the app lock service by sending an sms to the phone. Smart App Lock works great, except for the fact that I can't divide between locking some apps all day and some on a timer. It's either or. So I am forced to have to download a second app lock. But I can't find one that has the same feature of a remote sms unlock/lock.
Any ideas?

Hello Friends,
In Windows Mobile (I use HTC TD2 - WinMO 6.5.3) has only one “screen lock” for entire phone.
But I have seen some Samsung mobile (may be Samsung Star – Touch model) that has one application where we can lock several stuffs. Like SMS, Contact, Call History and the Screen Lock too. So even after the screen is unlocked the user still need to enter SMS pin to open SMS; Contact PIN to open Contact etc.
In Sort: The device has multi level locks.
So I was looking for if we have some similar application already out for windows mobiles?
I have seen
Thanks,

Thanks Corwin9S for your reply.
Just wanted to reconfirm, if this has SMS Lock, Contacts Lock, Call History Lock etc along with the iPhone Style Screen Lock?
Edit:
IN the device that I seen (Samsung): Even after the screen is unlocked the user still need to enter SMS pin to open SMS and Contact PIN beore open Contact etc. Mean that has multi level locks.
Thanks,

No, S2U2 will just put a password when you unlock your phone, it won't lock other stuff.
Edit: I think I know what you mean, my pixon did it too, well, you could always change the start menu shortcut to a simple app that asks a password to run the actual app. I am pretty sure I saw something like this around here before.
Does anybody know of an Android music app that BLOCKS NOTIFICATIONS AND ALERTS?
I'm tired of having my music interrupted by incoming email alerts every 5 or 10 minutes. If it was a phone, that would be one thing. But a tablet OS should prefer the multimedia experience to the messaging experience; or at least give you an option to set priority.
Thanks for all suggestions,
glg
Turn off the WiFi or the email.....use any app you please.
I can also set email to sync every 6 or 12 or 24 hours, but that doesn't answer the question I asked.
thx,
glg
You can go into Settings->Cyanogenmod Settings-> Notifications and disable notification focus. That should take care of your problem. Or just disable notifications for email or something.

Thanks for the reply. Your suggestion works if running CM7, but I don't find any corresponding Notifications settings in the CM9 builds yet.
HOEVER, I found exactly what I've been looking for in the Android Market: "Only Music Widget." Installs as a widget to your desktop and has a "only music player" switch (basically enables Airplane mode) so that no phone calls or notifications will interrupt your party mix. It works with your standard Android music player (even works with the HTC music player on my Flyer). And, it's free!
hello
Who wants to develop a AI app, it would memorize some actions.
for example, every morning at 8 am I unlock my screen, turn on data connection and open my emails on yahoomail, the app would do that every morning.
or another example
every tuesday i call my mom at 12 am, so the app would call my mom every tuesday...or the app would only pop-up notifications and says: call our mom today.
maybe such a App already exists ?
I am looking for a dialer app that allows the following DURING a call without switching to another app:
1) Note taking - so notes can be taken seamlessly during a call (such as phone numbers, confirmation numbers, directions, etc.)
2) Voice recording (I know about the call recording limitations already)
3) Dialer 'macros' for quickly entering account numbers and passwords during a phone call such as when calling a bank or paying bills.
4) A dialer pad 'hot key' so that if I have to switch to another app during a call, I can instantly return to the dialer in a tap or double tap.
I know that all of this can already be accomplishe with separate apps. I'm looking for all of this to work seamlessly in one dialer app. The current solutions with the stock dialer are too cumbersome. Does anyone know if any of the dialers in the market support all of these features?
I work as a software developer and for the better part of my day I'm looking at my work screen and my phone is on silent. Because of this I miss SMS's and missed call notifications sometimes for hours. I have been looking for an app that allows me to push some, if not all, notifications raised by my phone to my desktop.
I tried growl but that requires a local web server which I cannot obviously run at work. I also do not have access to my work network from my phone because wifi is restricted. So I need a solution that sends these notifications over the web.
Is there an app or a service that can push notifications from android to my desktop?
MightyText might be the app you are looking for.

Thanks, didn't realize mighty app also gave missed call notifications. Is there any other app that gives me native windows notifications?
MightyText fits my needs. Havent tried any other such app.
Android Desktop Notifications.
You can even choose which app notifications you want to be forwarded to the pc. However, for SMS and missed call notifications only, Mightytext is the best. Good luck
