hello everybody !
I got a Korean phone SKY IM A690S 2 weeks ago. until now , I can't do anything with this phone , just make a phone call or send message.
As you know , everyone uses smartphone always wants to explore all the features of the phones as well as can cook , can flash new os.
please help me to root, flash recovery flash a new rom .

I know that some of the random non brand name devices I've used, I could just use an adb shell and get root. But this isn't true for everything. As for rom cooking and recovery, that's a whole nother beast.

hi. the current os version is 2.3.4 . you can update by turn on wifi and wait for 1 hour . about 220mb .

I just bought an Alcatel OT-983 and I would like to root and unlock it.
Any ideas about how could I do one of these?

I managed to unlock it for free using the O2 one month pay monthly trick. I received the unlock code in 48 hours.
got the root and the unlock, have now posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=35243450&postcount=1 and uploaded the recovery.img hoping someone would be kind enough to create a CWM for the OT0983.

help me, alcatel ot 983 bricked
I think I bricked my alcatel ot 983 by installing something, seriously I didn't know what I was doing, I am so dumb, this is my first cheap android phone.
I found some file called Andread_32_i2e on google downloaded from 4shareddotcom and flashed my phone, and the phone now hangs in boot logo the green android logo
help me, I didn't make any back up
do I need the original stock rom or something, I got no clue

what do you mean unlock? i meant to unlock it to use in other network
i'm not a coder, so i'm not sure what is on your thread, ie. no unlocking info

Some kind person over at 'hotukdeals' did me a favour and got me the SIM unlock code from the carrier. Root was easy enough, unfotunately not much support for this device, without a CWM recovery, or a stock rom, Iam reluctant to do any further changes.
There is an official application called "Alcatel One Touch Upgrade NB v1.02" that may be able to restore people's broken phones to their default brand new state: http://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/E3K4W5EI/one-touch-upgrade-nb-1-0-3-setup-medoclite.exe_links
The .exe name says v1.03 so does their website but it is actually v1.02. This may help these of you who have messed up your phones.
my bricked phone keeps restarting so I couldn't use alcatel one touch upgrade
thanks mate but still my problem is not solved
the thing is alcatel onetouch upgrade tells me turn my phone off and connect to pc via usb cable but the problem is as soon as i connect my phone via usb the phone turn on, so alcatel one touch upgrade fails at 65% download from the server
I can get my phone in to recovery mode but I think I will need the rom, i dont know
if someone bought a new phone of this model and made a rom backup and if you can post that it will be really nice

if you guys could give me detailed instructions as to how i can extract the system.img file i might be able to help you. I have a stock rooted phone btw, i've uninstalled a few applications i didn't want and move some to sd using link2sd i think, not sure if that matters or not. My phone is currently not unlocked to all networks but will be within the next 2 weeks.

I don't think rooting available for spice mi505 better to not root because spice service is not so good and another thing how to unroot do not try unknown methods your device will brick choice is yours

yes you can root this mobile with the help of bin4ry. i have this mobile since 6 months n i have already rooted it and its working fine there is no problem with rooting...but before you root make sure you've set a blank password for "full desktop backup" just press 1 option in bin4ry for normal and your device will be rooted within a minute. happy rooting:good:

Can someone help me with my oneplus X device , Once i bricke it , but i was able to unbrick it with the MediaTool , what ever its called ..
But that was before one year now i cant get into my TWRP (volume down + power button ) Also i cant factory reset it from my phone setings ,
Can someone help me so i can get my twrp back and help me establish to flash new rooms again , cause the 5.0 android is too old for now i wanna have a 7. nugat room Please help me it's important !
If soemoen experienced could help me via skype or whatevre ???

Difficult to help you with the infos you give.
I think, you'll have to use the Mega Unbrick Guide again.
