So recovery in this ROM is fine. I can boot into it fine once I flash?
I could except I don't have access to a comp or flashtool so if I flash what recovery will I have?
---------- Post added at 07:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:39 PM ----------
I still have a nandrood in my twrp folder from where I had doomlords dual recovery so I have a backup in twrp and cwm if I need to go back
So far so good. LTE band 17 works fine. Bluetooth connected to my Volvo and can receive and make calls. Sadly, the camera is still non-functional (unlocked bootloader). Sadly, my phone is having some issues, can't actually power off the device. It just reboots, using the power button, power + volume up and selecting power off from TWRP. But it is probably hardware related since it was doing this on stock 4.4.2(functioning camera).
So its back to the HTC One(M7) Developer's Edition for now and waiting for the LG G Pro 2 F-350K to be delivered.

*added hover swipe gestures (right to dismiss from hover and left to clear entirely)
Just a quick update, the Z1 Camera Fix is working for my device. Have not encountered any FC.
Everything works including camera like it so far nice work dev
No matter what I do on any ROM I can't get to recovery unless I use doom kernel That won't boot. Just had an idea hot boot doom flash to flash the zip I want

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself. This is a build composed off of the CM10.2 builds and i have added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

Flash as any other rom.
1. Get the boot.img from rom zip and flash it
2. Wipe System, Cache, Dalvik, and factory reset but NOT Format data!
2. Flash Rom
3. Flash GAPPS
4. Reboot, and voila You have Rom
I didn't found any new bugs yet. Just one that i cannot search carriers, when i press search after a while it says that error occured during search. But automatic switching works, (in my network i have free national roamig) and when i loose my carrier signal it switches to another properly.
Is this kernel customizable? Does it have sweep to wake? If not than is there any other kernel that is compatible with this rom? Sorry for this noob I questions ;P

It will only work with the kernel it compiled with, a repack of kernel + ramdisk is needed for it to work with for example the Aosp+ variation of the same kernel

Using CM/AOSP/AOKP, for this device the choice is only one: Blade kernel. Its defaults are S2W=on, ButtonBackLightNotification=on.

Thanks everyone, I really want to keep our device updated
My next project is pac-rom, but keep in mind it won't be posted for a while, 4.4.2 works on our device but really doesn't have much ported into it yet so there's not point in posting it until its fully working and stable.
Cheers!
P.S
There is a donate button in the rom for scott, he has worked very hard on this rom, please consider sending him a paypal donation!

Downloading. Most customizable kitkat rom ever I think
Hi, before I switched from pound I have questions.....
1. Will this rom supported with continously updates for long time? I will not switch again and in 1 month the rom dead, because the Dev buy a other device. Updates comes weekly or nightly?
2. Is mali3 included? I must know it if I flash kernel with mali2 or 3 . example dori.
3. Is in this rom package installer with version info view?
4. Works with xpose, I know that than art not work, but I not used or need art
5.can I used supersu? I must take that because any apps only works with it..
I used flashable version.
7. In op I read, no full wipe? No factory reset if I come from pound rom? Sure?
Only wipe cash... Dalvik..if comes from other rom ?
What I read here is very great.... Good start for this new rom.... Great features included....

Answers:
1. I am not planning on buying a new device for at least a year and even when I do, I think I will keep my i9100 around for development
2. I'm honestly not sure, i am using the latest CM kernel source so if someone else knows that would be great, on my phone I use apolo kernel which is v3, great kernel with great battery life and tweaks
3. Not sure what you mean
4. ART works in this rom as reported, CM finally got it working (or scott), xposed depends on if it works on CM or not, if it does then yes, in any case there is a huge amount of tweaks in this rom to choose from
5. I believe so but am not sure, in any case I have never had issues with the stock SU
7. It's best if you backup your ROM and do a full wipe but since its also CM based I don't see why it wouldn't work with just cache and dalvik, but again, no warranty from me.
EDIT: There won't be nightlies for this rom, just FYI, I will try to update it at least once a week but please don't keep asking for ETAs, if the dev does a huge update the next day I will update it if not please be patient
Great, thanks for fast answer my questions...
Point 3 I mean this.....

Dirty Unicorns is a custom ROM built with stability in mind and optional customization. The idea to start this ROM began out of pure boredom around 4.1.2 on the EVO 3D and later turned into a form of an addiction (a good one) to see where we could go from there. We have since expanded to more devices to include the HTC One, Nexus 5, SGS4 and many more. We quickly realize that users loved what we were doing as well as other developers because it was done the right way. We've always had fun doing it and take pride in knowing that we've done it without having to bug the end user for donations to pay for server costs and/or any of those sob stories you hear. This ROM is 100 percent free and will remain that way.
Those wanting to use our ROM as a base are more the welcomed to do so but please maintained the credits/thanks below, do not ask for donations as it wouldn't be fair to do so considering and let us know as we often like to contribute to other projects.
As stated above, we love to maintain authorship but we also like to publicly praise those that have helped us along the way with our wonderful project. With that said, this wouldn't be possible without the work and help of those listed below THANK YOU ALL!!
| OmniROM | AOKP | CM | ChaOS | Paranoid Android | Slim ROMs | Preludedrew | Team Black Out | Official Testers / Translators |
Please check our gerrit/github for full credits/thanks of individual contributorsBelieve it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, just PM us and we'll gladly add on to the list.

Sorry for asking and wasting your time but in the OP the screenshots were provided so inconspicously that I totally ignored them. Thanks for the link. I will surely give it a try when I will be in the flash mania again, and I am sure it will be pretty soon

Could you please let me know which gapps should i flash on this rom.

ALT. GAPPS (Team Blackout) - size 155 MB
Hi @GIJS053 & @chasmodo,
Thank you so much guys for making this happen on the i9100 (S2).... Although I don't have this phone myself, I know a couple of mates who do... And I've been showing off the old / last build, back in Feb of this year, showing what it can do compared to stock rom. And showed them what the latest version does (thanks to Chasmodo) on the N7000 (Note).
So am well pleased to see its officially supported on this device now. Can downloaded the latest build, and show them what they are missing...
Thank you, Lister
I'm curious about this Rom so am downloading it. Do you guys have any tips for a noop as me to the Rom to make it run smoothly.
sorry for my bad English

No BS build.prop tweaks.
No BS. Period.
This thread is here for all to enjoy, so a little OT is fine as long as we are talking about ROMs, mods, apps, etc. Having said that, this is not a help thread. Questions that are not specifically about this ROM go elsewhere.

AOSP ROMs normally don't have Gapps.
So I flashed this ROM, then tried to flash the GAPPS pointed to in the OP, but got an error. I thought no problem, maybe a bad DL. So I flashed SuperSU and rebooted. I get a fresh DL of GAPPS and reboot into recovery, only to find TWRP gone. OK, I read in other threads about AOSP L ROMs installing stock recovery. No problem, I thought, I'll just use TWRP manager or flashify, so I reboot. Download TWRP manager and it crashes. Download Flashify, and learn I apparently don't have root. Now I have a dilemna: I'm at work (on an ambulance) and have no way of using a computer. Any ideas how to root (and towelroot doesn't work) and save my beloved nexus 5?

I thought I had that installing stock recovery thing fixed, but I guess I'll have to look at that again.
Did you flash the ROM and SuperSu without rebooting in between (GApps don't matter)? That will also prevent the stock recovery installation.
Without TWRP or root there is nothing you can do without a PC. You'll need to fastboot flash TWRP again.

I flashed super su 2.19 beta before the reboot.
I was afraid of that...oh well
No orange status bar / nav bar in battery saver mode (only status bar icon)
Thats something really great
Dream Rom then Simple Aosp gappps, then Hellscore kernel 5.6, then superSu 2.19 all in same session.
=
Working great thanks OP

Nice to see more Lollipop ROMS coming to Hammerhead!!
Will try, feedback will follow! :good:
I wonder if this will have the miscellaneous battery drain bug. Most aosp/cm12 Roms are affected.

In the weeks I've ran it...the battery life seems OK. If its a "universal" bug then it is most likely present...but I assure u that battery improvements are not far away... We just wanted the initial release out ...and will improve ALL aspects as time goes by..
Why do I recognize half the names in the credits list?
Is this supposed to be a Magiorom reboot or something?
