Not a clue unfortunately. Couldn't even do it with my previous Nexus phone. Google had the dialer attached to the bluetooth rather than Google Now. It completely limited the actions that you could perform with bluetooth, but at least it recognized my command to call.

You can setup Google Now to record through bluetooth.
Touch the microphone, then the settings. Now choose "voice" .
Now go to the bottom of the page and select "Bluetooth Headset".
Now select "OK Google Detection" and select all the boxes.
You should be good.
OK Google would work everywhere and through the BT headset.

I disabled/froze the LG voice command and now mine defaults to Google Now on my Lg Tones. Try this, it worked for me.
Disabled LG Voice Command and Stereo launches Voice Dial, so guess LG Voice is better than nothing... Wish there was a way to make Google now work. Cortana worked just fine with my stereo lol...

That just opens the old google voice dialer, not Google Now.
Same issue and I'm SO dissapointed. Upgraded from an S4...and today I get on my motorcycle, paired just fine, pressed the button on my Sena SMH10, and heard nothing for about 10 minutes. Stopped at a light, pulled out my phone, and Voice Command was still "initializing". Put it back in my pocket, and then a few minutes later it scared the crap out of me yelling "Say a command!!!". I said "play music" and it wanted to call someone. I said "No", and it didn't recognize my command. What a POS!
I need the ability to send texts, make calls, play music (select artist or album, etc.).
Really upset... I guess I'll try to disable it and use OK Google, but I know already that when I say "play music" its going to be streaming stuff and not using my local music.
If anyone finds a fix for this, please let me know.
Thanks,
Mark

This is going to sound a bit odd, but I think that the phone is not initially using the bluetooth mic, but instead that on the phone. When I have the phone near my mouth after hitting the bluetooth button, it seems to get my commands right. I sent an email to LG customer support to see if they have any fixes in the works.
VoiceCommand 1.1.1
HERE'S ANOTHER WORKAROUND BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO MANUALLY PUT PHONE BACK TO SLEEP AFTER USING....
I am using the Jawbone IconHD, shouldn't matter but It works.
Must Be Rooted, Must have Titanium Backup!!
1.Download VoiceCommand https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.itdevcrowd.voicecommand
2. Open TB, find Voicecommand 1.1.1 - Tap it - swipe to the left - scroll down to CONVERT TO SYSTEM APP
3. Put phone to sleep, hold down button on Headset.....Google Now
FOR WHATEVER REASON THIS WORKAROUND WILL OVERRIDE THE "DIM AND PUT TO SLEEP AFTER SO MANY MINUTES" BUT AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT WAKE PHONE WITH BT BUTTON, PHONE WILL GO BACK TO SLEEP AS USUAL
NoI installed Bluetooth Launcher yesterday, to use with my hbs-800 headset, now get Google now voice actions instead of lg.
The font is ridiculously small on a g3; if you have an HDMI output adapter, use it, to select Google search, them the second voice actions option in the sublist that opens.
I can now use commands like Call, weather in, directions to, start, ...
I'll check out voice command, sounds like it gets to the same result, but without futzing with the selection window.
I didn't know TB had the promote to system app function. Thanks!
I second this app. No frills, but very useful. Can set the button on your headset to launch whatever you like, including Google Now voice launcher. Works great.

Anyhow, I'm enjoying BT launcher. The one thing I would love is to find a working widget to turn GPS on or off, so I could use "start gpstoggle" as a spoken command. So far the only one I've seen that actuality does this is the GPS part of power toggles, and there is no way to split that element off as a standalone commandable action. Everything else I've tried just acts as a shortcut to the Locations tab, you still have to then press the on/off button.
i have the same problem!

On my Verizon LG G3, I followed the directions in this thread to disable the "Voice Command" app from within the Application Manager and I ensured that "Bluetooth Headset" was on from within the Google Settings app under the "Voice" menu. When I press the Bluetooth button in my Toyota Tacoma, it now calls up the Google app which prompts me for a voice instruction. These steps eliminate LG's crappy Voice Command app. :victory:

My D855 with stock ROM is completely unresponsive to the Bluetooth push button.
I set the:
Google -> Search -> voice -> Hands free -> Allow Bluetooth request on locked screen
Google -> Search -> voice -> Record from Bluetooth
The oldest firmware I tried was STOCK ROM v21A.
I am not alone with this problem:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/voice-dial-bluetooth-t2826458/page4
May be an older Android version triggers Voice recognition from Bluetooth.

Okay, so my s-voice won't do anything? I say "call mom home" it prints the words I front of me & does nothing? Same thing when I give it a math problem, launch an app, or anything at all? Do I need a replacement or am I doing something wrong? I actually use voice commands alot!
Ok go to settings, application manager, on the top click all find S-voice hit it the click clear data. Hit thanks if this helps!

Clearing data worked & factory reset has worked once alsw, but I don't know why it keeps happening?
Samsung really needs to get their act together with S-Voice. Their software development on this was rushed, and it shows. S-Voice often stops working and requires clearing the App data, and even when it works, the app's inability to understand variation in syntax makes it far more limited than Apple's Siri.
I also notice that when I do a Google search using S-Voice, the web search is done through a Samsung sponsored adsense account, so it's evident that S-Voice is mainly an attempt by Samsung to monetize their users' google searches rather than an earnest effort to improve user experience.
The Galaxy S3 is great phone overall, but I hope Samsung comes out with an S-Voice update that will do this phone justice. Meanwhile, I'd love to be able to replace the double-click home button with Google Search instead of S-Voice.
However, at least I can access vanilla Google search quickly with a long-hold on the capacitive menu button.
I haven't had a problem with it yet. It sometimes gets mixed up and doesn't know what I say.

Lol I was having problems with S-Voice on my International SGS III understanding my words until I changed it from "English UK" to "English US" very odd indeed...
I'm running SVoice on my SGS2 with no problems and it's not even for our phone.
I wonder why you guys are having issues with it?
Powered by the SGSII
only problem i've had is while driving it will pick up the road noise and not end the voice command entry automatically, also if there is too much road noise the app will not audibly alert as it stops if it hears any sound
While not too surprised by it, the performance while driving leaves S-Voice worthless to me. If my window is down, I pretty much can't use it.
Also, I tried using it to launch Waze... it prints the correct name, but then says it can't find the app. I have yet to get it to open a non-default app.

I agree 100%! I use voice commands a lot, and mostly in the car is when I use them. That's the only time you ever NEED hands free control over the phone, and yet it's almost worthless in the car! I have to roll up the windows, close the sunroof, and if the AC is on you can for get it, lol. I think I'm gonna try the original vlingo app I've always used, because I know they are behind svoices software, but it worked better when I downloaded it to replace the Samsung tinkered vlingo on my s2. It could possibly be that the mic on the gs3 is very sensitive though? None the less, every phone has some apps that I don't care for.
whenever I mount the phone to my car dock, S Voice comes on first! When it wasn't working on my Skyrocket, I just froze it and said screw this thing, but now that it works just fine on the SIII, every time I mount it to the car dock, I have to close out of it first before I can get Music up and running.... is there a work around for this to prevent it from coming on when mounted to the car dock I haven't thought of yet?
I quit using Tasker, it got to be too damn much on the phone, so I just use A2DP Volume to automate the connection - when I connect my car dock, it loads Music and adjusts BT volume for me, but it won't close an app on connection.... How can you prevent S Voice from coming up in the first place?
EDIT - I found these steps for turning off Voice Talk, the older version of Google's Voice Commands, and I'm going to give this a try. The motion part isn't applicable though, I think....
Try turning off DOUBLE TAP under Voice Talk settings.
Click on and bring up Voice Talk, then hit the bottom left button and click SETTINGS.
On the SETTINGS page, scroll down to the VOICE TALK section and click VOICE TALK SETTINGS.
On the next page, click on MOTION.
Next page, under MOTION ACTIVATION SERVICES, uncheck DOUBLE TAP.

WORKAROUNDS - We now have two workarounds to solve this problem.... Here they are:
If you like S Voice and just want to prevent it from starting up when car docked, use the Dock Nothingness app and select it by default the next time you car dock
If you don't like S Voice and want to block it completely, just freeze it with Titanium Backup and it won't run at all (PRO key must be installed for you to freeze and defrost apps)
Did you get anywhere with this problem - I'm in the same boat. What I'd really like is the old default car home to launch, but not getting s-voice (useless in my little convertible!) would be a great start!

Nope, but I think your issue would be easier to overcome since you can just download Car Home Ultra or something similar, I don't want any car home to launch at all, just the A2DP Volume app which will launch Google Music for me....
I have everything set like they said on the S Voice settings page, so it doesn't activate with a double tap home input, but it still comes up! Now that I have Tasker running as well, it asks if I want to use S Voice or Tasker, or either of them by default, and I don't want any of them, really! If I say Tasker, I believe it will do nothing, but that might interfere with A2DP Volume, and then I have to set Tasker to run A2DP Volume when it is car docked..... that's straight up going around in circles now!!!
I have the same problem... please fix! I do not like S Voice...

Nothing I can do about it, I'm definitely not a dev....
I selected Tasker by default when car docked and it seems to work just fine right now, I don't have any task set when the car is docked, but at least it recognizes Tasker will take priority when car docked instead of S Voice! That's the best work around I know of so far....
Sorry if I'm mentioning the obvious, but if you go into s voice in the applications manager is anything set in its 'launch by default' section? I don't have anything in there now, but that may be because I set my car-launcher as default on docking. I don't know if 'on dock' was in there before.

If you are rooted, why don't you just freeze svoice? I didn't like it so I froze it when I was freezing all of the carrier installed crapware (didn't want to uninstall it in case I actually get some of the features enabled).. freeze it and you will never see it again.. (I don't think I would risk deleting it since if it breaks something else it is easy enough to unfreeze/thaw the application)... this of course requires you to have titanium backup and pay for the elite license which gives you these features..
Double Home doesn't launch anything anymore.. although I never had a problem with it launching when going into car-mode.. I had turned that feature off...
I am still a noob with the andriod phone.. I had an iphone before this.. but am finding that I really like the flexibility of andriod over iphone..
It looks like we have a decent work around, posted by zen0s on the Infuse car dock thread:

I froze it using TiBU on my Skyrocket and that worked just fine because S Voice wasn't really working well with the phone, but now that I have an SIII, I want to use it when it is appropriate for me, not every time I dock the phone! So the two options stand, freeze it or run Dock Nothingness to prevent S Voice from starting up every time it is car docked!

I'm not sure if this is true for other phones listed above, but for The Galaxy Note II, I had to make sure S-Voice was disabled (it says Voice Dialer on the first post).
Also, if you have downloaded bluetooth launcher you probably already tried:
"Google Search" and then selected "com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.VoiceSearchActivity"
and was still launching S-Voice. Once you disable S Voice (note the space) go into Settings > Application manager and scroll to the right to ALL. Then find S Voice and disable it.
Once you disable it and hit the button on the paired bluetooth device, you will get a "Complete Action Using" dialog. Resist the temptation to choose Google search. I know it's the logical choice, however you will not get Google Now; you will get a Google voice dialer instead. So make sure you choose "Bluetooth Launch" and select ALWAYS. Now when you hit the bluetooth button, you should get Google Now.

My clock only responds to "Ok Google" maybe 2 out of 10 times. When it works (or when I swipe to "Speak now" manually) the voice control is almost flawless (I'd say 95% success rate), so it obviously understands me.
What could be wrong and is there something I could do about it?

I have exactly the same problem but with the 360 sport. If I delete and retrain the voice model on my phone it seems to temporarily fix the issue. Have tried factory reset, removing the wear app and reinstalling all to no avail. Have you had any luck? Im going to try pairing to a different phone to see if it's my phone or the watch. If that doesn't work I'm returning thE watch.

That won't do any difference. I've tried another Moto 360 with another phone and it works as bad on the "Ok Google" part.
Retrain the command doesn't work when using another language than English so I haven't tried that.
I don't have scientific proof, but I believe different watch face apps provide different results. When I have had the "OK Google" problem, changing the watch face solved it.

I haven't noticed any difference and most watch faces have been the stock ones that comes with Moto 360.
in my opinion, the stock watch faces respond faster than custom watch faces
I've had the same problem from Day One, the response to the keyword is far more haphazard than it was with my LG G Watch, but the speech recognition once past that is about the same; changing how I say "Okay Google" seems to be the only thing that makes any difference.

Same for me. I had the LG Watch R before (a year ago) and it was working flawless. Thinking about buying the Fossil Q Founder. But new watches will be out soon when Google releases Wear 2.0, I guess.
Just to update. I recieved my replacement moto 360 sport. The 'ok google' command still only works about 20% of the time. It seems apparent this is a software issue as the mic and voice recognition seem to work fine. I hope this is fixed in wear 2.0 or another update.
In the meantime my workaround was to create a floating icon in AutoWear that launches GoogleNow on my watch. Now I just press the icon on my watch whenever I need to launch GoogleNow to set an alarm/reminder etc.

How do you launch Google Now? It's not available under system apps.
So for me it shows an an available system app in autowear 'mange app actions' section (see attachment). If it's not in your version maybe it is a beta feature. I signed up for the beta test release :

Same as me, but I still don't have Google Now in system apps. What could be wrong? Running Android 7 DP5.
Not sure. I'm running Google 6. The new update (M1D63G) seems to have improved 'ok google' detection. Not done much testing yet, but so far so good.

I've done some testing and it worked all of the times except one. But that time I just said "Ok, Google" again and it worked. Before it has never worked after a fail without letting the watch be for a long while.
I'll test it more the coming days.
ive use this site before for guides and such but i be leave this is the first time i have posted. So if ive placed this in the wrong place or am going about it the wrong way i apologize and i can change or move to another thread. I just bought me and me wife these new phones they were cheap and had good specs. It is the Blu Studio C 5.5 (android Version 5.0). Haven't really had any issues with the phones yet. Until now my wife does a lot of driving and likes her blue tooth headset so she can be safe and hands free. and ive never seen an issue like this on any phone. On every phone you push the head set button and it activates the voice commend on the the phone to call, search, statues, whatever. This phone will not do that. Double click will redial, and a single click will answer or hang up a call, but that's it. I can not get the voice command or google voice search to activate via the headset and have tried 3 different headsets with same resulted. Ive tried every app in the store and such, trying to do different things.Tthought maybe if i could change the voice commend to activate on a double click or something like that but none of the apps in the store do anything the commands i quoted earlier are the only things i can get the head set to do. Some thoughts or help would be much appreciated. i use to be an IT Tech and have experience with rooting/hackings several deceives/pc/consoles in my past but generally these days things do most of what i want them to, so i just leave them default. I Haven't looked into rooting the device yet its done everything ive needed up until now . If i need to root the device to get the headset to function corrects that's fine i can do that first and then come back to this. i was just hoping to get some feed back to see what everybody thoughts was.I have called google and Blu and they say to call the other person imagine that lol.

I have done all of the above, any and all combinations you can do with one button. Can not in NO way get the headset to activate voice anything. Have since rooted the device and am trying to replace the default dialer..

This is the only thing I can find about remapping bluetooth buttons. You can just download the apk if you don't want to pay
