Hi guys, I am lucky enough to have got one today. Only been using it about 6 hours. So far so good. What do you want to know?
Pictures, price, and where you bought it from?
How is the battery life compared to other flagship devices?
Hi, I didn't buy it. I work for a mobile network. Battery I don't want to comment on yet. Only used one day but it's ok so far. I do love the design and size though and it's fast
Does it support wireless charging?

Battery life.
Battery life.
Battery life.
This is the main thing you need to test as it will be the show stopper if it cannot perform. Lovely design. Great looking phone but much less battery power - being thinner - than other similar devices. Most devices these days are coming in with well over 2000mah and even up to 3000mah on larger smart phones. This has a mere 1860mah which is a big concern. It's Lithium Polymer rather than Lithium-ion though right?
Some thorough battery tests would be awesome.
Also, can you run Antutu benchmark? Can download and run for free from play store easily. Gives a good idea on performance.
How is the Touchwiz interface. Any detectable lag? Any new features we should know about? What is the camera like?
Thanks. And when will this be available to buy and at what price in UK?

thats actually a little low...bump your gpu up to 640mhz. that got me a best score of 20091.
Yeah I've seen a few others reach over 20,000.
See if your phone can benchmark with the GPU clocked at 800mhz. You'll see some good scores there

Yeah and it feels much slower in real usage, so who cares about synthetic benchmarks?
Exchanging the DNA for the Note 2 yesterday was the best decision I've ever made. This thing absolutely smokes the DNA in real world performance, most importantly getting around the UI. And the battery life kills it too.
Other than the very sharp screen, the DNA has absolutely nothing going for it compared to other high end smartphones. Not to mention mediocre battery life and laughable storage space. Sense is still awful after all of these years as well. Very slow and heavy.

So that's your secret to getting 7-8 hours on screen time - power saver mode lol. How low does power saver mode clock down the max CPU speed to?
EDIT: Never mind. Power saver brings the CPU down to 1100 Mhz lol Gosh.

I think since Project butter, benchmarks and high power cpu's arent necessary. Unless you do a lot of gaming.

The DNA's gpu is much better. I'm sure within the next couple of years that will show with games that will be coming out. On the other hand, I'm sure the Note 2 will still be able to play them with some settings turned down, and the DNA will only be able to hold a couple at a time.

I don't believe it's possible to fit 4200mA worth of power into a Lithium 3200mA battery size and their feedback would seem to agree. That particular battery has some complaints about it.
Any time a battery is listed as being significantly more powerful than the original but the same physical size it's bull droppings.
The listing doesn't mention it so I'd take it as read that the battery does not have the NFC antenna built in to it either as the original does. This would not be a problem unless you want to use NFC of course.

Certainly didn't expect the $7 gold battery to have lNFC out 4200mah.
Turns out to be only about 70% capacity to stock, and charges at same rate.
Quite distinctly, the battery is made out of 2 smaller batteries laid laterally. You can see the dividing line and bent the battery slightly.
No NFC, no flickering voltage inconsistencies, usable up to 0%.
Good enough as a cheap short term backup for $7.
Next up, is a $5 0.65A battery dock charger. Wonder how long it takes to charge a flat to full.
My guess 8 hours.

About 3 Mp - I had the same issue and asked Monster Support about ([email protected]). They answered — The 3 megapixel is simply a firmware error and at this time we do have an update available which solves the camera’s megapixel issue. If you’d like to try this update you would require a computer running Windows & we’ll email you step by step simple instructions. Would you like to try? So I'm waiting from them this update. One thing I didn't liked about the z2 was the fact that I don't have an it blaster that I use so much in my g2. So, g3 may arrive here in Brazil in November or December, do you guys think is better wait for it or buy a z2 when it become available here?

It's hard to wait for the right moment. If you can wait enough then you could wait for LG G3 if it brings the next next Gen specs then you could settle with it for quite a while since they) that phone is going to beast, furthermore you wait for the best worthy upgrade and so on.

I just saw xperia z2 for 1k usd at amazon, wtf. i will wait to see for how much it will arrive here in Brazil, i hope is 650~700 usd. sony brazil already said that it will arrive here with tv tuner, is a good feature to wait this version. i hope it comes with noise cancelling headphones and a dock.
i saw rumors of lg g3, it probably will not feature snapdragon 805, so no great performance bump, but lg confirmed 2k display. i think i will buy z2 when it arrive for a good price, and then if g3 worth the upgrade i will upgrade to it. but if z2 come here for 1,5k usd or more i will just skip it and keep my g2.
I don't think any smartphone will need anything over 1080p, all it will do is demand more power for a small improvement. This is just my opinion on this of course...

I have read the same battery thread and based on that 3000mah battery I was honestly not impressed. The M8 has a 2600 mah battery and they are comparable...

Maybe they got defective phone probably go for a change. Mine can work at 5-6 hour screen time for 22-24hours. Or maybe I'm just satisfied with this battery life lol

Oh okay sorry I didn't read your previous post. Anyway how much battery life were you expecting? Just curious.

Like the G2 maybe even better due to the S801 being power efficient and very good at standby. Like your battery life , that's excellent but it seems that it iszt the case for anyone. Check the battery stats thread.

Differs I guess. But probably I wasn't playing game. Mostly just YouTube and surfing the Web. Games really drains battery quickly.
Looking for benchmarks from our new n6p. I've done antutu so far. On par with 5x. 45k ish. This is stock on the oldest/first factory image.
I realize our device does not bench great but I've been using it most of the day and it's very snappy more proof benchmarks don't mean much, but if we bench stock then unencrypted, and use custom governed we have something to compare to.
First quadrant
Geek bench
Apologies for the noob question. - but looking at the antutu benchmark screenshot, does it mean that a nexus 6 performs better than the 6p?

You guys are getting low benchmarks...
Ran antutu yesterday and got 57k, and 1310/3950 in geekbench.
Got 62410 in AnTuTu..
?? i get 45k with my 2013 nexus 5, does it heats up or it throtles down too much?
Got this on mine.
Androbench...The NAND is WAY faster than the Nexus 6.

Around 50k?? My OPO gets 48k-49k stock.
Those 62K is more on par of what I expected to see.
Would love to see more benchmark scores. I'm waiting till end of Nov for mine.

OPO is 1080, 6P is 2k. Working harder and using more resources to draw the extra pixels.

Man you quoted me before I edited my post for typo's lol
QHD shouldn't make that much of a difference. Note 5 and S6 have QHD and pulling 66K. Yes better processor but not 16k better.

Remember the S810 is being throttled heavier than the Exynos also.

Thank you! I was about to cancel my order (for the 3rd time). Whoops...... forgot that I started buying accessories to prevent me from canceling again! But glad to see good scores.

Every review and users are saying it's lightning fast but I guess if I downloaded an app that gave me an arbitrary number I would also cancel/sell my phone ?
Coming from a note 5, I don't notice any real world difference. Smoother with no bloat, no aggressive memory management. Runs great!

I may have run that in the first ten minutes of first boot and it may not represent actual readings? Now I've had 1 day of use I ran the test again, however now I'm not encrypted.
