My old lg g watch has normal pins, but my new replacement (oxidation problems) has the new circular-pattern pins. It seems to be other material.
MIne are circular too. Over time they make changes to the hardware to fix issues.

Okay as it turns out the top and bottom rails are actually coated plastic unlike the left and right side which is made of aluminum. I've got a few scratches and on the corner the coat is chipping. So I was wondering does anyone know if its easy to replace them without having to dismantle the phone? I found them selling cheap on http://www.etradesupply.com/sony-xperia-z-ultra-xl39h-side-rail.html and from the pictures I can see that it clips on the device but I need to be sure. So if anyone has done it or seen it done before please share it. Thank you.
I think they can come off without fully taking the phone apart

Has anyone found how to remove the top/bottom rails? Also, is it possible to just replace power button? I can't seem to find anything.

Didn't think so, but I found someone on eBay selling just the power button. Still can't find how to replace the top rail either.
I was cleaning the top of the phone, top left corner, and trying to get dust out of the microphone hole, and I think there was a membrane there that I just ruined. Can someone post a VERY high quality picture of theirs so I can compare mine and see if it's supposed to look like this or if I just ruined my phone's waterproofing

Thanks for the images, but I need a shot from directly above the mic, I can't see into the mic with those angles
No one?
I don't think there's supposed to be a line inside your mic. It's just supposed to be flat membrane. I think you broke it.

Judging from these pictures, I agree that it looks punctured.

Well, poo. I guess it's time to replace the phone. The waterproofing was one of the reasons I have it. The display also has some annoying bright spots in it so I guess I won't have to worry about that anymore either

Hi, I have a black 42mm moto 360 2nd generation. I bought some 20mm watch pins off ebay but they are not quick release ones. I also bought a pebble steel black metal band to go with the watch. Does this mean that I have to use a spring bar tool when removing non-quick release pins?

Will the pins show up/be visible on this band?

How would I insert & remove it with a spring bar tool ? I don't want to end up scratching the watch. Is it possible to buy quick release pins?

It is possible to use the spring bar tool, it will just take some steady hands and a little patience. I was able to get this band installed with the spring bar tool...
I have the silver case and was able to swap the bands with no scratches or dings to the case...
I'm sure there are quick release pins available, but the band I use doesn't allow for their use. I'd bet a quick Amazon search will turn up a few...
I have a little problem with my N9. I recently observered a little bit bright vertical line near the right side. I know this is and old tablet, I know it's limits, but this is bugging me out. I really thinking about getting a new tablet (preferably pixel c for the pure android).
Anyway... Is this a screen problem? Only way to fix this to replace the screen? Frankly, I do not want to spend any money on this tablet.

I think that might bei screen bleeding, which is quite common for the nexus 9.
i have the same screen problem.
Possibly a burned-in navbar?
So most probably the only solution to replace the screen?
