I live in Essex County. And have yet to experience any lte speeds. Ive had my note for about a month now. I called Att and they told me that the next town over had it. So i drove there and got nothing. Im considering going back to tmobile. Since they will get the note anyway

I have been up and down nj and the only place i had lte was the Bronx

I live in Morris County and still no LTE here either. BUT a Friend of mine has Samsung galaxy s2 Skyrocket and he told me that when he went to Newark Airport he got LTE in the Airport. I guess they were testing LTE in Newark area. i haven't been to the airport so i don't know for sure but that's what he told me.
South jersey here and I have no LTE anywhere I go. Nothing in Philadelphia either.

Has anybody else noticed strange cell signal lately? Seems like AT&T is "working" on something. I went an entire day with only edge service on every phone in my house.

OKay last week i was on ROUTE 3 close to Secaucus/North Begen area and check my phone i had LTE under 4g logo and i was very excited and started using speediest.net app and i was get about 12-17mbps. Maybe i was getting LTE from NY coz i was very close to Manhattan. i work at cedar knolls NJ and been getting better HSPA+ speed lately about 6mbps which i used to get 3mbps before. so i can't wait for them to get LTE in Morris county.
I get LTE in Newark and some surrounding towns. I'm guessing it comes from nyc

I should have mentioned I'm in south jersey by Philly/Atlantic city
Hey I live in south jersey, Atlantic county. I work at att...unfortunately for now unless you go to Philly or NYC we will not have lte yet only hspa+.... good news is that att is expanding theirs like crazy and it is coming within the year...only time will really give us the answer. Att can tell you the closest 4glte area near you but won't reveal the location of their towers...

Hmm I go into Philly all the time and I never have LTE there. I remember when I got my iPhone 3G I didn't have 3G service for about 5 months before it was turned on

I go to NY every month, Brooklyn, and I usually get anywhere from 40-50 megs with a 3-4 bar connection

Thats insane. I think the note runs just fine in the 6 to 8 meg range. Anything extra is just little extra gravy...

I'm in Morris county no lte here but it says it is on the coverage map so not sure what's up. The map just started showing it this past week or so, I check all the time so I'm hoping that it just hasn't been turned on yet but will be shortly. Only 10 miles or so down rt 24 it's all over the place.
I also live in Essex county!!!! Small world. Idk what service you guys are on but Verizon and most others like sprint have their major towers in seacaus(idk if I spelled it right). Its the spot designated for radio broadcasting and its reaches most metropolitan areas NYC, jersey city, union city, hoboken, etc. Our stations like my 9 and others are broadcasted from there. If you ever take rt 46 east and go by meadowlands stadium you can see the red lights from over 20 tall tower. The meadowlands is all barren flat land.
A little off topic but since this is a nj post... What's going on with the Xanadu? Its the big thing by the stadium?

I've seen LTE all over spots of jersey now. It seems like they are expanding very quickly. I had service from exit 3 to 6 and then from 11 to 13 on the turnpike. I live in south jersey and I have LTE all over from deptford to cherry hill and marlton. A month ago these areas were all HSPA
I just now noticed the LTE next to the usuall 4g at the top of my screen...so i did a sppeed check and YES! IT IS NOW SCREAMING FAST! i live in middlesex county nj and boy am i happy i finally have LTE!

No luck next to Sprint campus. Perhaps you luckily connected at a time where they were testing something on the towers. They aren't going officially live until the later July correct?
July 15th is the date...I could see them slowly activating the towers and pushing prl updated to phone to bring them on the network slowly to prevent it from being initially bogged down

I haven't seen LTE or 4G on my phone once. This is really odd because I live blocks from the KC sprint campus. I have even driven into their parking lot and sitting there got only 3G still.
I know this has to be on my end because there's no way that in their own campus in their main center they don't have a tower running it since this was the first location to receive LTE. Is this something that could be dependent on the ROM i'm using. I'm running viper 1.21 which others have said they get LTE with so I don't think it's that.
Do I need to possibly flash a new radio? Is there something else going on?
Yeah, ur not in an LTE area. Either that or Idk find someone with an EVO and see if they get LTE in the same spot.

I haven't tried toggling to CDMA and then back to LTE, I'll give that a go.
I know for sure I'm in an LTE area because KC is the first and I live directly next to their huge campus here. I have a few friends who work for them, actually everyone in this town has worked for them at one point or another, lol. And they said we do have it in this area now.

correct. I always say KC because anyone outside of this area doesn't know OP. I live a just a couple blocks from that campus. I thought this was the first area scheduled for the roll out. At least I know why I haven't seen it yet. thank you.

i gave it a go and no LTE yet, so I think erichj must be right and the rollout is not complete.
Strange that they wouldn't start with their own campus. But I guess I was just spoiled by t-mobiles insanely fast network speeds before switch to sprint. Kinda a bad decision on my part but I thought I wanted an Iphone, until I had it a couple days and took back that turd to get another android phone. By that point I was stuck in to a sprint contract with dial-up speed.

I was on the Sprint campus tonight and had to reboot my phone to get it to pick up 4g. Sometimes that's the only thing that will work . Network is only about 40% build out around the KC market right now.

It definitely is spotty. I was able to get LTE in the legends but it would randomly switch to 3G even if I was in the same spot.

Iive up north of the river by the airport and I only saw the 4g icon once while eating a chicken fried steak at corner cafe in Riverside. I only had it long enough to download speedtest.net app and it reported 8M download and 8M upload. Pretty good but then it switched to 3g again

I see LTE light up on certain phones but there is nothing official as far as what I can find...I heard they are testing but who knows. I sure hoope they are because verizon just dropped LTE here.

I noticed it on my Titan II at about 5PM on Monday evening. Speeds suck but at least they are working on it.
get sensorly android app from market
update: made a lil' lte loop on sensorly's att lte map, so you should see some purple in bakersfield now. i'll work on making it bigger, like i did for most the 3g map.
Getting 10Mb up and down. If you want to know what the LTE coverage is like here, go ahead and download Sensorly for coverage maps. I've already turned it on and walked around the house, it said it picked up 20 points, so that may be towers, just from my house.
note: have htc vivid w/ lte unlimited plan. the misses gets 20Mb down on hers.

I'm only getting max 2up and 3.5down in Panorama Heights in the NE even showing FULL bars LTE. Speed is the same around HWY 178.

I think so i get the LTE symbol when im passing there going to Vegas.
Looks like 4G LTE is running in Thornton off of 120th and Holly. Good sign that sprint is working on getting LTE to the denver market!

I live in Aurora, CO and I have not LTE here. I'm a truck driver and get LTE towards Brighton Fort Lupton areas and sometimes Greeley. Don't know why they start deploying it in the bigger cities first.
At least it seems like they're starting to move on it.
You guys really need to donate a couple dollars to s4gru.com to get donor status. They have some insider guys in sprint with lots of sprint rollout updates.
