I've seemingly exhausted every thread here, looking for a guide, tools, advise etc. on how to make a usable (flashable) ROM dump of the OS, Radio, SPL... essentially a full back-up for a "Stock" US Cellular Titan (I know that there's no such "stock" ROMs for US Cellular... furthermore, that the current "stock" ROMs are old non-gps).
I have a replacement US Cellular Titan which is unaltered; therefore, I would like to copy it's "Stock" ROMs so that I can:
1- Have a back-up
2- Re-flash my old unit which I'm required to return to US Cellular
3- So that I can UL the originals here on XDA for others to have available
if needed.
Again, I neither know what tools are required, nor how to properly make a ROM Dump; so, IS THERE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME ON THIS? Any advise and/or resources that you guys can provide would help immensely!
I've PM'd the "usual suspects" here (i.e. GC, & DCD) but these Gurus are, i'm sure, flooded with requests and/or other commitments. PLEASE HELP in any way you can! THAnkS

I come here desperately seeking someone can give me a solution.
I come on behalf of several chefs who are trying to improve the ARNOVA ROM 10.
We have always worked roms in. Zip rom and the ARNOVA 10 comes on. Img. The problem is that we have almost a month trying to extract the. Img but no way.
I would appreciate someone give me some clue to how we could extract the. Img to work on it and then re-attach it to flash.
This is our last hope, so that any information we would be extremely useful and would appreciate greatly.

I have read a lot of guides on porting roms and now i knw that we can port rom to any device using stock rom for that device and tha rom we want to port bt they need to be of same version
Means base rom and port rom should have same android version
My question is how newer roms like kitkat (cyanogenmod, etc) are available for older devices like Galaxy S2? As per as i know Samsung didn't provide kitkat for GS2 so there is no base rom for porting kitkat to GS2 So how they did it?
Can you tell me how to do such cross version porting?

OK so i am following all your procedure and i am struck on level where i need to download the system folder from the terminal simulator . This code is not working well and also i am not interested to extract my system folder from emulator . Is there any other way by which i can download my system folder from connecting my phone from PC .

I have Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910W8. I am with Rogers Wireless Canada and my device is unlocked.
One of the things that annoys users of Samsung phones is the delays of firmware updates and upgrades. If you remember, T-Mobile did not get Lollipop before the end of April 2015. One possible solution to this kind of delays is for every individual to become knowledgeable on how to “cook” his or her own custom ROM.
1. I would like to use the official firmware as my base Rom to add or remove programs before flashing it on my phone.
2. Rooting is not yet an option; If I root my device, I can no longer get OTA updates. Without rooting, how can I modify the stock Rom (before flashing) in order to de-brand it and install generic CSC codes so that I can get updates directly from Samsung?
3. Can I use an International official firmware or any Canadian stock firmware, cook it (make changes with e.g. Android Kitchen), then flash it, so that I can receive updates from Samsung directly through any country as soon as upgrade wave begins? This means making my Cell Phone software region unlock.
4. My current Rogers Lollipop only has English, French, Korean and one more Asian language. None of all the Canadian cell phones that I had in the past has Spanish and European languages pre-loaded, which annoys me always. I know that all languages can be activated by customizing the stock software without installing a third party software to do the job. Can anybody tell me how best to do this?
5. I do not know the reason why Rogers removed the Data Toggle button from the Notification Panel. To make people spend money on data? For me, it is an easy access that makes me save money whenever I do not need to use Rogers’ data. I want it back and I know that it can be reactivated by customizing the software before flashing. Can someone tell me how to do that?
6. I understood that so long as I continue to flash my device with stock (factory) “Recovery.img”, my KNOX Warranty will not be tripped (void). But can this stock “Recovery.img” be customized without voiding the KNOX warranty?

I have another identical which have made a backup with a tutorial of this forum, but following the same tutorial I can not mount an image flasheable phoenixcard.no is whether this is the right place to post this, if not so ask and please apologize if some moderator can move I appreciate. I leave the link to the backup and a ROM that if I get loaded as is, but to make the modifications mentioned in the post, do not load from the card. a greeting and thanks in advance.

It was not my intention to spam,
and I hope I have not miss any message that had them, but I can't find any valid link to download the root and recovery zip files. All link are dead.
But I see modding is still alive here, and I have to admit this makes me very happy about that, so, can anyone upload those files? I resurrected this phone after my Nexus completely died, and I would like to mod it, since the stock ROM is not that good.
