Hello, i uninstalled an app from my Phone and know is bricked, i already have the full backup of the stock rom and i only need to odex the app i deleted, can someone help me to odex this apk??

Hi, I was removing the bloatware from my rooted P500 when I accidentally deleted the DeskClock.apk and DeskClock.odex files. I really want that application back. How do I install it again? I tried installing a few other versions, but I refused to install. Can somebody please send me those two files? Will it work if I just copy the app into /system/app/ ??

It should. If you aren't using a stock ROM it should be easy, but the .odex files will probably cause some trouble if the ROM is odexed.
Does anyone have a link to a bone stock ODEX rom? I deleted some files that I need to replace.

I downloaded this but I did not find the samsung weather apps used in geo tagging
Rooted Optimus G, made a backup but something went wrong. Does anyone have the original camera apk?

Thank you so much! As it turns out I ended up looking up the system dump right after posting. Dunno why I didn't think of it. Installed the dump straight into my phone, extracted and moved the apk (already had the odex file) directly into the system app folder, and voila. Thanks so much for the quick response though!

the new one doesn't work
and now I'm left with no my files app
so if someone can help and post his my files apk and .odex..I would be very grateful
I'm running official jb 4.1.2 rom

Hmmm. It's not hard to flash the firmware again. Backup your apps with titanium backup. Reflash clean firmware and root it. Restore your files again. Then you should be having the My Files application.

I copied the apk to preload
created link in system app
copied the .odex to system
and set permissions of both files
but it's not installed
please help!!

Use root explorer. Copy both files in system/app. Paste there. Then search for the files and set correct permission. I just did that. And it worked fine once you reboot the device.
