Hi everybody,
I have for about one month one GT I9300 international. I rooted the terminal and a have flashed numerous times customs roms. One that I constantly comeback is crDoid. At this moment I have flashed crDroid 12.
The problem that I have with this custom rom is that I have no sync when using 3G network. But the internet is working and I can access websites open Facebook and Google+. What I don’t have is gTalk (I’m offline) no sync on Gmail and Facebook Messenger and slow loading on Facebook and Google +. All the problems are gone when is on WLAN.
I tend to believe that is a Rom problem because when I flash other roms I don’t have these problems. Also, I have these problems since first flashing crDroid v10 and I flash all options of kernels that they have in Aroma.
At this moment I don’t know what other information is relevant for you in helping me to solve the problem.

Your ROMs were first of the kind for our device. Moreover, good developers are leaving development of this device because they have moved on to another device.

I don't know why he left but he is still working on P500 and all his works will be available for us.

Feedback - [DEV][ROM][4.4.2] [CM11] KITKAT for LG-P500[WIP][VER-1]
I've been using this KITKAT Rom (from 27. December) for 5 days now and I'm really impressed of it - thx goes to mukulsoni and hephappy.
My feedback here, since I'm not allowed to post on a dev thread:
- Battery backup is acceptable with 2 days for me (Wifi off, Location off, low usage)
- Installed Calendar from PlayStore and calendar syncronization is working
- If you do not want to use Hangeout as you default sms client you can install 8sms from the PlayStore instead (which I did)
- Not Working:
- Wifi Tethering (@mukulsoni please add to not working list)
- voice search does not work for me (maybe someone else knows how to get it working?)
- overall performance (smartassV2, 240-710) is good but not snappy (I'm using a class 10 8GB sdcard).
Conclusion:
@all who are interested in KITKAT on our old P500, give the linked ROM a try - you won't be disappointed.

I am running the Omni preview which is more or less cm-11. Favorably impressed.
Offline voice search will not work on our armv6 device. Thanks Google.
Online voice does work. Use voice dictation or swype/dragon to get it into google search. Must tap search, but ...
Actually, something before getting the voice is what armv6 stops. I cannot reproduce how I got there, but I had it actually, init, take my voice and get results!! Once, just once. So ... who knows?

I took this because this is what is being developed right now, where fixes are going.
On-line voice does work. Go to settings->language&input->voice recognition. Since you are likely running with Google Search around, you will see two (count 'em) google options here. Choose the other one.
If you only see one, you need to install the old VoiceSearch.
Feedback - [DEV][ROM][4.4.2] [CM11] KITKAT for LG-P500[WIP][VER-3]
Changes between Ver1 and Ver3 I encountered
- battery consumption seems to be improved a little bit
- stock SMS/MMS app included now (no need for Hangout or 8sms)
- "national roaming" support seems to be gone now (new MVNO Settins are unclear for me - any hints are welcome)
- camera problems
- autofocus does not work anymore - focus does not go green (worked on Ver1)
- choosing HDR option leeds to FC of camera app (to disable HDR you have to clean App Settings)
Trying to record a video freezed the phone (gave me an FC on Ver1) - had to remove the battery.
Experiences from other users are welcome.

Back to my update problem: I already checked md5 hash and in Addition I repartioned and formatted my sdcard, formatted system and tried to flash via recovery (ver from 16th january) - but same error.
Is it possible that system of this rom is almost full and that some memory blocks of my system storage is dead? It is just an assumption or guess, but if too few memory could cause such an upgrade failure, which apps are secure to remove?
Once again, thx for any hints.

Ok, now try flashing any older cm 10.1 or 10.2 over the new recovery (jan16) and let me know the status. You can write on my thread after completing your 10th post.

I already installed version 5 which didn't cause any problems. But I will try an older cm version in addition. I'll post the result afterwards.
@mukulsoni: I installed 10.1.6 (hephappy) without any problems.
Could you please provide the old Version6 rom again. I want to install this version until there is a (I find) a solution for my specific problem.

Thank you for the link. I flashed that version 6 over version 5 sucessfully. As you said, it is really strange that i can not install the 6-new version. But for now I am happy with it. If you are able to find any possible explaination I am still curious to know of course.
With the help of the development threat I updated my Lenovo K910 (dual sim) to version V1.5_1419 which contains Android 4.4.2. I put the full google-apps bundle on it via sideload as well as superuser. All works fine, but when I go through the settings menu to add an account, the "corporate" option to add my work-exchange email isn't there.
I also cannot find the "email" application on the phone. I was wondering if it's possible to install this still on top?

Found after a lot of searching the solution. First installed the Exchange services. After install it said that it crashed. I rebooted the phone and then installed the GoogleMail.apk and the email app is back and the services work. Push mail etc. all is working with my exchange account now

I installed KK 1419 too and it seems to be OK and free of issues from previous versions of 4.4.2.
The main problem is or was that KK on k910 is somehow root resistant and gapps protected. I have searched many forums and none fixed it. But you succeed, so you are a hero, men . Pls specify step by step how to do it, because I want to fix that great phone finally and it seems to be easy after your great job. Do not loose any time to answer cause I am excited to have one vibezzzz working properly.
The issue of mailer is very strange. I am using MS exchange accounts too, so standard gmail application is useless for me as well.
Another issue with all of the roms for that phone is pure Chinese stock browser. There is a possibility to use chrome or opera of course, but standard browsers are usually local and fully flash compatible. Did you fixed it as well?

I have been using the V1.5_1419 MultiLang with GAPPS and it comes together with the corporate exchange email service.
you can try to find it at needrom. Just find Lenovo K910 4.4.2 1420 Multilang GAPPS
Try it and you will be satisfied with it.:good:

My device : xperia pro(mk16i) and my rom is unofficial cm11 4.4.2
I have flash this rom for one year ago and have'nt any problom with this until recent days...
any account that i add to phone such as "whatsapp" "Yahoo Mail" Unexpected Logout and should Every time logon and activate accounts again. only google account is stable and not logout.
whats is problem ?

hello guys i have a weird problem . I used to use fb messenger an older version cuz newer is more SNAPCHAT and eats memory too much .It was working fine until few days back after that I'm not able get chat heads pop ups.. but i can see newer messages when i Open the app . i don wanna open messenger every time to see my fresh messages so i did every thing i know ( cleared cache, data,reinstall) noting fixed but the new version can push the pop ups i dunno why . So i flashed new rom (thought its my rom's fault) but still no i updated all the permission it asked to still the Same no pop ups or chat heads ...so please does any one know how to solve it if so please help me thanks for reading

Possible solutions:
-Change the version of the app. Uninstall and take an older but working version (a.k.a Downgrading )
-Just stay on the Messenger app...
is that the only way??

Downgrade messenger of course. I don't think the device's rom have something to do with the dysfunction of the app...
