Installation of Android 4.4.2 KitKat (by IceWell)
1 To start with need:
- Charged at least 50% of the tablet.
- Sd-card, it is still a volume.
- Established for our device driver on your Windows. I'm manipulating quietly produced from under the eighth Windows.
- Download the firmware archive and unpack: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=1685
Or here: tyk
- The archive with the firmware as there is a program RKAndroidTool and program to automatically install the drivers.
- Download the archive with the kernel and the parameter and unpack in a convenient place for you: http://yadi.sk/d/aOSrg0j6RjRwN
- Download the fix for stitch and throw the stick: http://yadi.sk/d/BL_rAPsqRjUHK
- Download the format nand and throw the stick: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=1429
You can fix and format nand rename for themselves, so as not to get lost.
2 Run the program RKAndroidTool.
3 Now turn off the device and holding down the Volume + connect to it USB-cable. In the program below, should appear Found RKAndroid Loader Rock Usb. If does not appear, it is likely that drivers are not installed, or the Volume + little kept clamped.
4 next to each entry in the program is a field with a null value (white rectangle). Against the item parameter click on this field empty, the window through which the parameter select the file from the downloaded archive earlier. Just do with the files and kernel boot. Get something like that

5 Push the button EraseIDB, pop up message, click OK (if after pressing the EraseIDB device turned off, then reconnect it) and press the button Run. Will start flashing process unit. After lettering Run OK tablet should boot into Recovery.
6 In the Recovery select the item install zip from internal sdcard - choose zip from external sdcard - Choose the format nand - Yes. A window appears click Next (sensor works, but also can be selected using the volume buttons and power), device memory is formatted, click Next. Again, select the item choose zip from external sdcard - Choose fix - Yes and install WARNING fix to stitch two times.
7 Press reboot system now - No - No. All device stitched.
Not quite sure why at the start vylaziet picture with penguins, and was supposed to be prestidzhio logo. Later I will try to deal with it. Just butanimatsiya itself is not very. Who has any ideas there - write
By the way this parameter under the application allocated 2 GB.
In firmware sewn CWM and root.
What was seen by me: no longer fail touch (previously occurred false touches), ceased to be chopped off wi-fi when the tablet is locked for a long time, connect to wi-fi is faster (though perhaps it seems to me).
Tips:
- After starting go to settings, select the item and Performance in CPU Mode select mode Normal.

1 Requires:

- From the entire set of swing: parkernel, Formatnand and FixTouch: https://yadi.sk/d/KotunFIvY3XsD
Against the item parameter click on this field empty, the window through which the parameter select the file from the downloaded archive parkernel.zip. Just do with the file kernel. BOOT does not put !!!
5 Push the button EraseIDB, pop up message, click OK (if after pressing the EraseIDB device turned off, then reconnect it) and press the button Run. Will start flashing process unit. After lettering Run OK tablet should boot into Recovery.

I would like to ask everbody not to send me PMs with questions about the installation, that is what the forum is here for. Also everbody should do this at their OWN RISK!
If you already have recovery installed, go to step (3) and continue from there.
(1): As a first step, we should "root" our stock 4.3, so later on we can install a recovery tool:
- a: Download the towelroot apk and click on the Lambda icon
- b: On the phone, navigate to Settings > Security and check the Unknown Resources checkbox
- c: Copy the tr.apk to your phone's SD card and install it
- d: Estabilish an active internet connection on your phone
- e: Run the towelroot app and once it loaded, tap on the "make it ra1n" button. This should "root" your phone.
**The reason why the word "root" is between quotation marks, is because the towelroot app doesn't actually root your phone, but allows a superuser application to be installed on it. We don't actually need an SU app, but "root" is needed for the installation of the recovery.
(2): Installing the Recoveries (source: [link])
-a: On the phone, navigate to "Settings > Developer Options" and check the "USB Debugging" checkbox. If you don't have it listed, just tap the "Build Number" within "Settings > About Phone" 4-5 times.
-b: Connect your phone to the PC
-c: Download the recovery pack created by dssmex
-d: Extract the CWM_SP_4.4.1.zip file to your computer and depending on your operating system run the appropriate install***** file (install_mac.sh= MAC OSx; install_linux.sh= Linux; install.bat= Windows) **(On Windows a menu will appear, where you need to choose option "1" and the rest will be done automatically)
-e: If the installation is successful and you see no errors, you can reboot your phone. Otherwise repeat the installation until it is completely error-free
-f: After reboot, the phone indicates with some blinking lights and a slight vibration that you are now able to select from the recoveries (volume rocker down=TWRP recovery; volume rocker up=Philz recovery; camera button=CWM recovery). It is up to you which one you select, as all of them should be able to do the job just fine. Personally I recommend CWM and the guide will follow this method. IMPORTANT: During the recovery selection, the idle time is 2 seconds and if no button is pressed, the phone will boot normally.
(3): Installation of the Slimkat rom:
-a: Download the newest rom from here: [link]
-b: Copy the Slim-4.4.*.build.*.*-2014****-UNOFFICIAL-lbhuashan.zip to your phone, preferrably to the external SD card. (This can be performed during recovery too, but copying to the SD card is significantly slower this way, so before you do that please read section (4))
-c: During recovery selection, choose CWM
(Quick CWM navigation guide: With physical buttons: Volume down=move down; Volume up=move up; On/off button=Enter/select menu option; || With swipe gestures: Swipe down: move down; Swipe up=move up; Swipe right=Enter/select menu option; Swipe left=back)
-d: Make a backup of your current system, by going to "backup and restore" and selecting the "backup to /storage/sdcard1" option. This will create a "clockworkmod" folder on your SD card and the dated backups will be stored here.
-e: Now go to "Wipe data/factory reset" and select the "Yes-Wipe All user data" option. This will erase the /Data /Cache partitions and delete the ".android_secure" folder on the SD card. IMPORTANT: This may take several minutes to complete.
It is advised to do the following when performing a clean install:
It may happen that the installer is unable to format the system, so it needs to be perfomed manually by going to "mount and storage" and selecting the "format /system" option.
-f: Navigate to "install zip->choose zip from /storage/sdcard1" then browse to and select the previously copied Slimkat rom
-g: The Slimkat rom should now be installed. If you don't prefer to install the Gapps pack, then reboot your phone with the "reboot system now" option, otherwise go to step (4)
(4): Installation of the google apps (Gapps):
-a: Download the newest Slimkat Gapps from this list
-b: Copy it to the external SD card
-c: Go to CWM recovery again (camera button)
-d: Navigate to "install zip->choose zip from /storage/sdcard1" and select the Gapps pack you just copied to the SD card
-e: Once installation is done, reboot the phone

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Frequently Asked Questions + Useful info:
- The first boot will always be slow. This is because once you enter your google account details it starts updating the google apps and your personal details, while downloading your own applications as well
- The rom does not include Sony's own services and user interface
- The rom is rooted by default
- You cannot apply any custom kernels as the bootloader is locked
- After first boot, turn off NFC (or at least try to remove the check from the checkbox, it will not be possible due to a bug), then reboot the phone. After this you will be able to turn it on/off as per usual.
- The rom contains CWM and Philz recovery too (camera button=CWM; volume up=Philz)
- Hijack is a script that enables useres to boot not only stock roms on a locked bootloader, but custom ones too like Cyanogenmod, aopk, pa, pac, slimkat, omni etc...
- It is not possible to update a rom OTA, only from recovery. The method of updating the rom is the same as installing it from step (3), the only difference is that the "-d: wipe data/factory reset" part needs to be skipped

- Glove mode is turned on by default, but if you would like to turn it off, go to "Settings->Language & Input" and remove the check from the "High Touch Sensitivity" checkbox
- To enable "Developer Tools" & "Performance" menu options, navigate to "Settings->About Phone" and tap "Build number" 4-5 times
- If you want to play games, it is a good idea to change the "Profile" to "Performance" under the "Performance" menu option for the duration of play
- You can make the Google search bar disappear from the home screen by opening the settings menu of the Trebuchet launcher via long press. Then expand the advanced settings by swiping up the grey bar of Wallpapers Modules Themes. Here look for the Search bar and switch it off.

Quite normal.. the server is really slow... I'm using a 1Gbps (1000mbps) server to download this and I get only 50+kb/s...
OP, I got a server that can be used as a mirror for your ROM. If you are interested in hosting your ROM on my servers then do PM me!
Will try it bro
Downloading now

"Script succeeded: result was [0. 200000]"
i dont know if it is normal but instalation do not cancel
Wow great job! This source code is far more advanced than mine! I'll try to contribute to the code (I don't think that'll be a problem? I'm just saying ).
It wouldn't hurt you if I were to modify and improve your ROM and release it separately with credits or would you prefer I don't?
And Huge thanks to the others who pitched in! You guys seem to never fail to be a great source of help. Were all in this together so pat yourself on the back because you've just raised the hearts of millions of Xperia SP users worldwide!
And another note, i would be happy to improve the thread further
(Do pm me separately if you're not comfortable talking on the forums )
Cheers!
I bet the code and RIL errors gave you a headache!

(3): Installation of the CM12.1 rom:
-a: Download the newest rom from here: [link]
-b: Copy the cm-12.1-201*****-UNOFFICIAL-lbhuashan.zip to your phone, preferrably to the external SD card.
-f: Navigate to "install zip->choose zip from /storage/sdcard1" then browse to and select the previously copied CM11 rom
-g: The CM12 rom should now be installed. If you don't prefer to install the Gapps pack, then reboot your phone with the "reboot system now" option, otherwise go to step (4)
(4): Installation of the google apps (Gapps):
-a: Download the newest CM12.1 gapps from this list
-b: Copy it to the external SD card
-c: Go to CWM recovery again (camera button)
-d: Navigate to "install zip->choose zip from /storage/sdcard1" and select the Gapps pack you just copied to the SD card
-e: Once installation is done, reboot the phone

How to Root Android N
Prerequisites
Backup your device’s internal storage, messages, contacts, and everything else that you feel essential.
Charge your supported Nexus device to at least 60% battery level, to avoid any disturbances during the process.
Make sure that your Nexus device’s bootloader has been unlocked and ‘OEM unlocking‘ is enabled in Settings > Developer options.
Instructions
Using TWRP
Of course, you must have TWRP v3.0.0+ installed. Grab it for your device from — https://twrp.me/devices/huaweinexus6p.html And flash it using the fastboot command. If TWRP isn’t available for your device, or you have forced encryption enabled, use the CF-Auto-Root method below.
Download SuperSU v2.70 zip package: https://download.chainfire.eu/927/SuperSU/RC-SuperSU-v2.70-20160314191951.zip
Connect your Nexus to the PC via USB cable.
Now, transfer the SuperSU package to the device internal storage.
Disconnect the device and power it off completely.
Time to boot your device into TWRP recovery mode. Press and hold Volume down and Power keys until you see the bootloader mode. Once in bootloader, press the volume keys until ‘Recovery mode‘ shows up. Finally, press the power button to enter TWRP.
Now that your device has entered TWRP recovery, go to Install. Browse your internal storage and select the ‘RC-SuperSU-v2.70-20160314191951.zip‘ file. Swipe the ‘Swipe to confirm Flash‘ button.
The process will take a few seconds, and then you can tap on ‘Reboot System‘.
Using CF-Auto-Root
If the above method didn’t work for you, this might cut some slack.
Download CF-Auto-Root package: http://dl-1.va.us.xda-developers.co....zip?key=UMEs03ZOQAOFa5WZz1vQnw&ts=1458902487
Once, you have downloaded the package, extract the files to a suitable folder, using an archive manager like 7-Zip or WinRAR.
Boot your Nexus into bootloader mode — Power off the device. Now, press and hold Volume down and Power keys, until you see the bootloader screen.
When the phone/tablet is in bootloader mode, connect it to the PC using a USB cable.
Go to the folder where the files were extracted in step #2, and double-click on ‘root-windows.bat‘.
A command-line window will now open. While making sure that your device is in bootloader mode and connected to the PC, press any key on the keyboard to start the process.
Follow the instructions as stated on the command-line window. Finally, it will take a few seconds to flash, and upon finishing, your device will reboot automatically, beginning with the root procedure. During this process, your device may reboot several times.
When the device has booted up successfully, disconnect it from the PC.

Probably not a good idea. A full wipe is always best in my opinion, especially when you're talking about going between major releases

Don't be afraid: The latency you see is caused by the non optimization of the refresh rate of the e-ink panel, which I'd like to port from stock cinese rom. (here if you'd like to help to make the e-ink works on android even faster than stock!!).
System UI is very much smoother than on stock rom (try with scrcpy).

Bootloader still locked (unfortunately). (or tell me if you managed to unlock )
Android 9 works good.
Android 10 lags.
Before starting: Backup all the data, partitions and most importantly the EFS/QCN file! (Read BACKUP QCN section.)
If you'd like to share a vanilla EFS/QCN file, erasing your IMEI with a blank one before doing it, that would be useful in case someone corrupted his one. You can read more about on the guide.
Make sure to read the Disclaimer above.

Checkpoint
- Once here, you could be ready to flash your desired GSI ROM (I've tested many, and look like only compatibility is with Android 9 and 10. 11/12/13 didn't work on my tests, and android 9 is the smoothest performance wise, while android 10 is not really supported and it lags on system.)
At this point, if you'd like to try out different roms, You need to return to Checkpoint, and follow again the steps below.
Your GSI rom should be arm64 and ab partion. Here you can find a list https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/wiki/Generic-System-Image-(GSI)-list (look for android 9 and 10 roms)
- Unzip your GSI rom, then rename the unzipped .img file to system.img
- copy system.img file to simg2img directory and double click convert.bat to start the unparsing process. It should make another system file inside same folder, but with .ext4 extension.
- copy the system.ext4 file to another directory.
- Open QFIL and select flat build, then select programmer prog_emmc_firehose_8937_ddr_000bf0e1 from Hisense_a5_Flashpaket_6.10.04.00/rootkit_6.10.04 folder.
- Enter in EDL MODE
- Now go on Tools and Partition Manager
- Popup will open, now right click system partition and select manage partition, then erase, then load image.
- Select the system.ext4 file, and it will start flashing.
- Once done, click close, then close again, and then ok.
- wait 10s and detach cable usb from the pc.
- press power button + volume down for 20s to enter recovery. You might want to try some times. Mine worked like this: as soon you feel the reboot vibration, release the power button but keep holding the volume down button until you see recovery logo. or. if it's still stuck on hisense logo (power on), press power and volume down button for 5 seconds, then release power button while still holding volume down, it should enter recovery.
- Inside recovery, erase all the data.
- Reboot, and wait at least 20 minutes, the phone should boot your GSI rom!
Possible error: If you still see Hisense logo with backlight on, probably your ROM has booted, but somehow it won't show you the main display.
Fix: with https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy by pressing the screen, after cable is connected and adb devices command launched, where the adb authorization popup would appear, just try to click "ok", and then scrcpy would allow you to see what's happening. Finish the wizard and you should be able to continue on the smartphone now. Keep in mind you may need to use scrcpy at each reboot, because for some ways, the smartphone boots up showing only Hisense logo, but underlying the system is working.
