Could one of you please try and uzip the zip, then move the SystemUI to /system, set permissions to rw-r--r--, and then move it to /system/app and then reboot? MAKE A BACKUP FIRST

Because that mod was for an odexed rom, therefore it will not work on this rom. But everything else looks right?

yes everything looks good. I have the transparent pull-down background, the wifi, battery and signal icons look good. Everything lights up when toggled. I'm using the red version on beans deodexed stock rom.
Ok guys the issue has been solved (thank you to king_tee for testing). Downloads should be back up in a few hours. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

I thought these were flashable when they were posted previously. I don't like moving files around, etc.. Too many opportunities for me to screw something up.

Sorry there was a problem with my script, TWRP functions slightly different, in the future they will be flashable, just not worth it to me right now to do it for one file. If you make a backup and follow my directions youll be fine.

What size donation would it take to make it worth your while to make the red version flashable? I just got custom recovery and I want to test drive it using your themes
Do you happen to have screen shots of what it looks like? Don't want to waste my time if I don't know what it looks like first if you know what I mean
Installed a 4.2.1 Rom but it doesn't have Samsung keyboard and I need that 5th row with numbers. Any way to flash or install the apk of it? Or is there a modded 4.2 with the number row?
Kii keyboard found in the Play Store has the number row.

Do you have root? If you do, you could try this app, Emoji Switcher: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stevenschoen.emojiswitcher

Maybe, but I doubt it. (I've never made a flashable zip, but I'm guessing there's more to it than what I did.)
It's just an apk inside a zip archive. I'm guessing I made it a zip because xda wouldn't accept an apk. You can just extract the apk out of the zip file with an app like zarchiver or es file explorer, than tap it to install. (Make sure "Unknown sources" is enabled in settings > security.)

ha yeah i had tried it... not luck.. said something about no MetaFile found.. LOL...
I think right now my work around will be using the Google Handwriting Keyboard and then having the S-Pen Command app switch from standard keyboard to that when the S-Pen is removed..

Hi XDAers,
I had disabled the stock email app when my Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 had Ice Cream Sandwich.
I upgraded my phone to official Samsung Jelly Bean while the app was disabled.
Now, I have to configure office exchange email and I want to use the stock email app rather 3rd party ones like Touchdown. But, now I can't enable it back
Looks like, Samsung won't let users disable the stock email app in Jelly Bean . In Settings-> Application Manager-> All-> Scroll to the end, it says disabled next to Email, when I click on it and get in, there is no enable button, but there is a disable button which is grayed out :crying:
I also tried some of the apps in the Google Play Store to unfreeze apps. It shows the email app to be frozen. But it requires to be root to unfreeze them.
Does anybody know how to unfreeze/re-enable the email app without the following: :fingers-crossed:
- rooting the phone
- factory reset of the phone
Will reinstalling the apk help? How do I get the Samsung Galaxy S II GT I9100 4.1.2 email.apk?

Reinstalling the apk would be the first thing I would try. How do you get it? Search for it. It won't necessarily have to be for an SII. As long as its a touchwiz JB email, it should work fine.
Edit: for the apk to work you'll need to check that your exchange services are version 5.0. I imagine they already are, as you're on JB, but check anyway.

Thank you. In order to install stock apps, do I need to be root. Or is it as simple as copying the apk to the downloads folder or anywhere else and running it?
Theoretically, yes you should be able to find the .apk and run it. As you already have a Samsung email application installed, that could affect things. Your best bet is to give it a go! If it doesn't work, post back and go from there
Edit: note that I'm not being harsh when I say to search for the app. If I had it, I'd link it for you. But I don't, so it may as well be you who does the searching

Thanks, I did some searching and found a few apks (not S II, I found S III) and when I clicked on the apk in My Files, it attempted to install and finally said "Application not installed". Is there any other way? Or is it because of incompatibilty?
Does have anybody have Samsung's Galaxy S II Android 4.1.2 JellyBean SecEmail.apk?

Thanks for taking the trouble to upload it to your DropBox. Appreciate it.
I tries it and I got the same message, 'Application not installed' and the app continues to be disabled :crying:

No you don't need to create any folder just be sure to set the proper attributes to the APK then.
Do some search here in the forums as you will find many examples and guides.

You need to find the ROM files for your device and flash using ODIN. Have a look in your device sub forum or look on SamMobile for the original image if not there.
