Hi all, i'm sorry for my bad english but i'll try.. A friend of mine has a LG Optimus L9 P769 T-Mobile and she want to use An italian SIM (Wind) , so it is necessary to remove the SIM lock.
Is there a way to remove this without paying sites to gite you the unlock code?

The only way I'm aware of, without paying for it, is to get in touch with the current carrier and request a carrier unlock. They will most times if the phone has been active with them for a period of time. 6 months I think. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

I bought an LG Optimus One (P500) from 3 UK on a contract!
But, I want to use a O2 UK Sim. And it is saying 'Phone is SIM network locked'!

You need an unlock code for your phone. These can be purchased from various sellers on eBay. I successfully unlocked my LG P509 Optimus T from T-mobile using a code from someone whose ebay name is myhoian.

but my phone is service provider locked. I called metropcs customer service to get the
unlock code, but I don't have service on my phone, so they won't give it to me. I read a
few threads that talked about this problem, and most said to buy a code from ebay; the
codes are cheap (around $2 USD), but I currently have $0 and don't get payed for two
weeks. So, is there any way I could unlock my phone without paying? Maybe through flashing it?
Any help is appreciated.

Hi, does unlocking my cellphone to make it work with all companies lock it in my country? My cellphone is from Chile, I talk with Claro there. I am in Canada and I want to unlock it to Bell or any other companies. If I had it unlocked for Bell, would it work back home?

Yes once it is unlocked it will work with any GSM carrier in the world. I am assuming you are talking about a GSM phone here.
Besides unlocking services, usually your home carrier will give you the unlock code for free and the instructions of where to enter in that code in your phone to unlock it, if you tell them you need to unlock it because you are traveling abroad. Usually they want you to have owned the phone for a while (like 6 months for some carriers) before they give you the code though. No harm in trying to ask the customer care.
I asked my home carrier for a unlocking code, they said they would contact the cellphone manufacturer and get it in about 3 weeks, which is too long. Does anyone know of another faster option? Thanks... If I can do it by myself that would be excellent too

alright, well i dont know which carrier my cellphone is locked to since i bought it to a friend who bought it from another friend in Chile and in chile the phones are unlocked to all chilean companies...anyways I contacted motorola and they said they could provide the subsidy code in 72 hours... ill let you know
hey, Motorola actually called me and gave me 2 subsidy codes and none worked....!!!! i actually double checked the IMEI number and they said it was correct, so I guess i'll have to use one of them unlock websites.... does anyone knows if eBay is safe to do that?

I recently bought this amazing phone on ebay(H901), and I'm trying to sim unlock it, the phone is not blacklisted, or financed, but It cannot be unlocked since its not in T-mobile database(even when it is branded tmobile phone with all the tmobile bloated apps), since T-mobile or LG cannot unlock it I was looking for a Root-unlocking solution for this since I dont want to start the process of returning the phone at this time of the year and I already paid for my country customs fees to get the phone here.
Is there any way to sim unlock the LG h901 using root mods? may rooting and deleting t-mobile unlock device app do the job?

No I haven't find a solution to it, I'm currently living in Japan, and I'm using this piece of art as a media player only because I can't get it unlocked online nor a tmobile sim card to use it.
Hello, I buy a lg V10 H901 on ebay I use it for several months without any worries I live in France so I used the temporary unlocking of the application "device unlock" but since yesterday impossible to use it the temporary unlocking no longer works and thus the phone and block I am therefore not t-mobile client is there a software way to unlock it?

No there is no known method other than using the app. You may be able to purchase an unlock and seller would submit your imei for processing on Tmobile server I would assume.

Have you tired googling it? From what i know once its paid off fully you can request a sim unlock from tmobile.
a lot of site offers deblocking but are they reliable? I can not pay on t-mobile because I live in France and buy on ebay HK

Yeah I mean usually those services are pretty cheap like 30 or lower to remote unlock the phone. Worth a shot just look for reviews of those sites first too.
