Xolo play tab 7.0 OR Xolo TW800
In the efforts to flash a custom recovery, the stock recovery got erased. Could anyone please upload the stock or compatible custom recovery?
Rooting was possible after adding few additional lines in the android sdk google driver.

I can help.

[Q] Galaxy tab 10.1 wont boot into recovery after installing clokworkmod 5.5.0.4

hey guys. just want to start by saying im a NOOB in the rooting/flashing world so i'll greatly appreciate your patients.
now, I had my glaxy tab 10.1 rooted and was running clockworkmod 4.4 and wanted to upgrade that to the new 5.5.0.4, I went to the following link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1312218
and downloaded the zip file and installed it on to my tab (P7510UW) and now i cant get into recovery. Im not sure where I've gone wrong but if someone can help me get back into recovery that would be awesome. And also if someone can explain why this would happen and how i can prevent this in the future, would be great.
I am running the AOKP rom 4.0.4 if that helps.
again, any and all help is appreciated
thanks.
That recovery isn't for the 10.1 that's why it didn't work. Grab the correct recovery and you won't have a problem.

Thanks for the info. Any idea on how I can install the new recovery? Because when I try to boot into recovery my tablet just turns off. Is there a how to guide or something I should be following?
Thanks
Grab the correct recovery for your tab from the development section. Boot into download mode on the tab and Oden the modified recovery.
Are you even able to get the device to the download mode...???

[Q] Need help restoring Ubislate 7ci from bootloop

I was playing around with the Ubislate 7ci tablet, which is basically a generic Android tablet with stock ICS. Since it is not supported well, I went thru multiple documents and rooted it, After a lot of tries installed ClockWorkMod 4 too and took a backup. But after that I went one too far and installed ClockWorkMod touch 6, which pushed my system in to a bootloop. I am not able to go to recovery, adb / fastboot is not recognizing my tablet.
I tried writing the boot.img and recovery.img to SD card using win32diskimager, but the tablet is not booting from the SD card.
I have the backup files from ClockWorkMod and a tablet which bootloops (not able to go in to recovery or adb/fastboot). Is there a chance of reviving the tablet?
Ubislate 7ci soft bricked
I read a lot of threads (inside and outside of XDA) and all of them suggest using fastboot / recovery, which is not working for me or suggest to flash a firmware. I don't have the correct firmware, so I have downloaded a img file for another China tablet with ICS, just searching more before trying that, since that could hard brick my tablet.
I have also analyzed what I did wrong and I could see that the clockworkmod touch img file is moved to /dev/block/nandg, which should only affect recovery and should not affect normal boot-up. I have left my tablet to discharge to see whether rebooting after discharge goes directly to nanda.
If you have any suggestions to try out, it is much appreciated.

I have a Ubislate 7C+ - Have you tried doing a factory reset? There's a tiny hole on the back of the tablet for it.
Are you able to get in to fastboot

My 7ci did not go in to a fastboot mode :crying:. If you can get in to fastboot mode, you can try flashing CWM recovery and restore a CWM backup taken from your friend's machine. I have attached the version of CWM which worked for me and as always NO GUARANTEES. USE IT AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.
FYI - Fastboot was NOT working in my Ubislate, I was able to get adb working ROOTING your Ubislate 7ci
If it is not too much trouble send it back to datawind ([email protected])

I don't think there is a reset button in Ubislate 7ci. All I see is a hole for the mic.
Success

If you can access your recovery and/or sd card through mounting. Your device isn't bricked. I would suggest you double check everything you downloaded and make sure it's all compatible with your device. If one simple .zip doesn't match your device you can get a bootloop or soft brick (non-fatal) which is what you seem to be experiencing. Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for sharing!

[Help!] - Acer Iconia B1-721 TP or 4.2 stock recovery rom.

Hey guys, i have a Acer Iconia B1-721 That has android 4.2.2 on it. It has a virus that infected the whole system. If i do a factory reset the virus still exists on the device. I tried flashing it with a spft image i found here, but it seems like its bootloader is still locked because spft gives a error and phone disconnects.
I pushed the system.img to the device using adb but it only caused the tab to stop booting. Now i cant use anything but the stock recovery to flash a stock rom. But the 4.4 stock rom for stock recovery does not get picked up by the recovery.
So i ask, is there anyone that can help me with the 4.2.2 stock rom for stock recovery or the test point to force flash with SPFT.
Thanx in advance.
Please guys, i really need your help.
Bump, please experts, help a guy to fix his tab.
I need to bump this again.
If no one can help me with the ROM or test point, can someone please tell me how I can flash the 4.4 ROM with stock recovery? Maybe i'm doing something wrong.
I'm relying on this to revive this phone.
