Any chance anyone is using this app on a rooted G3? Or willing to see if it works? (I am thinking of buying one but I have to have call recording working on it first)

Actually you can just buy the LG g3 tweaks there is an option to turn on call recording. I have used it many times and it works great

App does not record phone conversations without using the speaker phone.

Yes, I discovered that too, unfortunately!
Supposedly most motorola phones have call recording disabled, and I haven't seen anything about enabling it

This needs to be enabled in the kernel. There does not seem to be enough of a need for this in the Photon community for the devs to write the patch into the kernel.
This seems to be working on most HTC, and some Samsung phones:

???
i dont know if this will work but give it a shot...

i cant try it right now coz my battery is dead
Guys,
I am looking for call recorder app for my EVO LTE. The phone is in the latest OS version.
I heard the call recording feature is not inbuilt in the kernel.
is there any way we can use to exploit the kernel and patch the call recording feature.?
Whats the easiest way to achieve it. I dont want to S-off .. But if its needed i will go ahead and do it.
If tyou are lookng for an app take a look

how to enable the same.?
I use this one on LTE, works perfectly, think latest revision does not require kernel, but I'm using TL's kernel. Only issue that I see is recordings don't show up in history but are on sd card. There is a thread here with free trial and more info.

I've been looking around and see a lot of Photosphere mods for most android phones, and when I try them on the L9, none of them work. Has anyone had photosphere to work?

It requires a gyroscope sensor which L9's don't have.

I feel like this could be a reason why we probably will never see 4.3 or 4.4

I wouldn't say that's a good reason why. That's up to LG to whether they want to support an older model or not. It may not make financial sense for them to do so. If at least they would give us an official way to unlock bootloader, things would be better. The community could keep it updated themselves.(which has been done) Picsphere(photosphere alternative from Focal) somewhat works on this phone, but its a headache.

So I got an unlocked Verizon-VS980 LG G2 (I have t-mobile) and when I first started the phone it could connect to the t-mobile service right away, however after a few minutes of playing with the phone, it knows there is a sim card, but is not connected to t-mobile. The only way I can get this to work is to switch over to an AOSP rom but I really want to use a stock one. Currently using Xdabbeb and it's still not working. Any help would be great!

Yeah for sure it was unlocked. I used it for a few days before the problems occurred.
If this is any help, I've used Mahdi rom and it worked but, but I hate using Google camera and most custom cameras don't support it. Also the battery life isn't where i like it to be (using greenify and all the other what nots)

When you got the device did you buy it from someone and did it already have a rom installed?
To make this quicker you can email me at "[email protected]" so that we're not waiting for responses on here for hours.
