Hello everyone, i'm tired of search many times to find a costume rom look like S4 or S5, and after a long time here we are here with a new rom for Galaxy ace 2
i'm not the owner of this rom, i found it in a vietnamien forum, i tested, and i like it, and i wanna share it with you

Stock Jelly Bean firmware installed [XXMG2 Preferred]
CWM Recovery 6.0.2.8 [Put it on your external sdcard. Download: CWM6]
Ace2Galaxy S4 V2.0 XXMG2 => Source
How to install
Ensure that you have stock (I8160XXMG2) Jelly Bean installed & Temporary CWM6 on your external sdcard (requirements). If you don't have them already:
-Follow this guide to flash stock Jelly Bean firmware.
-Copy Temporary CWM6 on your external sdcard.
Copy ace2galaxy s4V2.0 (1).zip to your sdcard.
Press Vol up + Home + Power button to enter Recovery.
Part 1: Stock Recovery:
- Wipe data/factory reset - Yes [Optional but recommended]
- Apply Update from external storage
- Then select the CWM6 recovery that you downloaded before.
Part 2: CWM6 Recovery
- CWM6 Recovery will show up!
- Select install zip from sdcard, choose zip from sdcard, navigate and choose ace2galaxy s4V2.0 (1).zip - yes.
- Select costum installation and accept the contrat and terme
- Chose your root app, launcher, navigator app, Camera app, select any option you want & then install

Suggest : You can use chrono kernel, he make the rom more smoother, Link I use 9082014 Bluid

Wow, looks really awesome But why you moved system apps to preload? I think it's would be better to move /preload apps to /system and reduce preload size(better don't use /preload and extremely reduse size of it, but I do know, if it's possible), because there is some problems with memory repartition due to /preload.

Imho is awesome! I installed it three days ago with chrono kernel(interactive-sioplus 200-1050 MHz) and it is super smooth.Also battery is fantastic:today i had 3,15 h Of screen on always under Wi-Fi with tapatalk,chrome and a few minutes of gaming.
This ROM for me is better than all others TW roms

yeah me too i used it for two week now, with chrono kernel (Ondemand 200-1150 Mhz) and all i can say, it's this the best TW ROM !
Is it better to backup my current rom with stock recovery ore with Temp CWM?
Edit: Does this rom have privacy guard like CM?

No this rom is a simple modded TW ROM, and for your backup if you are in a stock rom with stock recovery you must use temp CWM

Hello
Ive ported the Samsung Galaxy S rom ARIO v3.3 JW4 to the SGP 4.0 (YP-G1). First of all big thanks to hanthesolo for making a mod pack that makes its easy for me to port from sgs. The only thing i must to to was to create an update-script + flashing zip and test it
The rom comes in three designs: ICS, Blue and ST. Ive testet all roms on my galaxy player and they runs fine.
Some users reported a wifi Problem on blue/stock theme :/ i am trying to fix it in New build.
Next build comes in two versions: Wipe and non Wipe. also the phone related apps and some useless apps are deleted and there are some extra tweaks Please dont ask when the New build gets released i dont have much time but i am working on that
Next build will be based on Ario 3.5 and it get´s a s3 theme (optitonal)

Thank you chaoschris for using my modpack:victory:. This is what I was hoping the community would use it for, and FINALLY someone has implemented it . I guess there's no need to continue my rom anymore, as this looks much better-themed than mine .

btw, you may want to remove dialer and such, if you hven't already. I think I will create a script in a CWM zip to do that for you in the next release.

The first boot can take up to 5 minutes but not longer. What kernel you are using?
Your kernel must support the ext4 filesystem becouse /system and /data are ext4
I recommend you to flash terrasilent its working perfect for me.
I was on Terrasilent when I flashed. I'm going to reflash the kernel and see what happens.
EDIT. Still nothing. Something is wrong with my SGP. It hates a lot of custom ROMs for some reason.

Did you wiped /data or /system? becouse when i do that i get lots of mount errors in cwm and i must reflash with factory rom and pit.
In this release the /sytstem partition gets wiped at flashing and there are no erros
i think about in next release wipe data to? ... dont know

Can you please fix this build! i flashed and accidently wiped data, and it wouldnt work. It would just force close and reboot itself. is there any way to fix this?
EDIT : I just found out it only reboots when i turn on wifi. when the wifi is off, everything works fine. as soon as i turn on wifi, the whole thing reboots.

Halo is only for 3+ PA (android 4.2.2)
For Advance Pa setting doesn't work (switch to phone, phablet and tablet mode) but we are working to fix it
But you can change the status bar color, and the toogle of notification pannel and etc...
in the next realese:
-fix extcard DONE
- fix home button (WAKE) DONE
-fix wifi scan intervall (battery drain) DONE
-try to fix PA SETTINGS

Ask help from the guy who fixed it for S Advance. Abin.. something oh God, names like that are hard to remember and write. Its in S Adv PA port thread

If you don't flash the kernel wifi and audio doesn't work.. flash it in terminal emulator

The symlinking goes wrong: Some symlinks failed
And then: Error in /sdcard/Pa_Port_Beta1.zip (status 7)

Flashing gapps is necessary unless you don't want Google Play Store and stuff
what if i use mc8 kernel? im currently on cm10 with mc8 kernel from IJ
Warning! Before installation please read Installation method from downside. To install any custom ROM 4.1+ you need official JB from Samsung before and make CWM Recovery. If you are already on any custom ROM, just read installation process.

Installation method:
• download ROM and save on your external/internal SD
• go to Recovery and make Backup of current ROM in Backup and Restore option
• if you move up from:
a) previous version of this ROM do Wipe cache and Dalvik-cache
b) others 4.3 do the same, but if you see any bugs after boot, do Wipe data
c) any others android version do Wipe data
• choose install zip from and select ROM, wait for completed installation
• you can flash now Gapps package
• now set reboot system now option and wait to system boot up

I never use PowerAMP, but if you got new notification on off screen probably yes, song will skip. Its not Apollo or DSP problem, is audioflinger , i think.
And on on screen ?
When screen is on than audio is normal.

Yes you can, rom have theme chooser.
I use rom 3~4h and no problem at all. I don't listen music, so this bug it's not big problem for me.
Rom is stabile, no flickering, battery is good, better than 4.2.2.

Yes working without NFC feature, but remember to replace system/lib/libtee.so and system/lib/tee folder from your official JB before installation.
Or send me that files from official JB for P version:
- system/lib/libtee.so
- system/lib/tee folder

Would you check that using another music player, the song wouldn't skip if notification come?

what governor did you guys recomended for this rom? because i use performance/deadline on my phone and default on my friend. both have 70-80 % on 1 am before we sleep and only 5 % left in the morning. when i check using cpuspy both phone run at 800mhz all night and no deep sleep. change to ondemand but we got unlock lag.

MIUI lovers rejoice! A fully working MIUI v5 for our Xperia U!
This is my side project. I always loved the looks of miui but we've never had a fully functional miui port for our devices.
But not anymore. I've used @werty100's rom (I hope you don't mind) because it was very good and based on xnovathor, but he stopped developing. And this was the only version which gave me no trouble.
Everything is working as it should, and considering that this is miui, I'm very satisfied. good RAM management, working wifi tether, fixed wifi sleep bug..

Features:
- SlimBean based
- fixed most of the remaining bugs (wifi sleep bug, front camera, RAM management, etc.)
- Phantom kernel by @Pwng3 with overclocks, governors, etc
- Dual TWRP/CWM recovery (thanking to @NoobCoder):
to enter TWRP, press volume up when LED bar is multi-coloured;
to enter CWM, press volume up when LED bar is white.
- Performance control included (you need to enable root permission in miui's security center for it to work)
- Fixed lockscreen lag by implementing custom lockscreen which resembles default one (Default one is way too laggy)
- Sound is loud enough, there's no need for additional sound enhancers
- Many small tweaks and patches...

MIUI_v5_3.10.25_v3
Instructions:
- Backup your current ROM!
- If you don't have CWM/TWRP, then flash kernel included in ROM
- Enter CWM/TWRP and wipe data, cache, dalvik cache
- Install ROM
- Reboot and enjoy
Repeat this procedure even if you're coming from v1 or v2, since base is changed! Sorry guys
Don't flash any gapps, as this rom has all you need (Playstore and stuff)
Bugs:
- FM radio, of course.
- Wifi direct (if anyone has tips on how to fix it, please PM me)
- If you don't have 3G, try turning airplane mode on and off, it happens sometimes, not my rom's fault
- After restart, sound is sometimes at max volume, just change volume (this is also inherited "bug")
- Keyboard disappears and music stops under heavy use. I tried to reduce that to minimum, but it will still happen (low RAM's fault)
- That's about it. I don't consider these to be real bugs, but i put this info here to avoid repetitive questions in thread.

Once you install it, it will FC when you run it, just clear data under apps, and you're done. It also FC's when you manually want to set vibration&sound, but not through personalisation guide, so no worries. When I have time, I will try to fix it.

Thanks to @akbarreynaldi for the tip
It only has white light, but at least it doesn't have that bug where notification light would stuck at orange when there is some notification.
Tips&Tricks for performance
- Use greenify. it matters. I even greenify Google Play Services.
- Scheduler/Governor: interactive (or interactivex)/sio
- Turn off all touch tones/vibrations and autobrightness
- Regularly use broom to clean RAM and run greenify before playing games. Also, in games keep setting to medium.
- DO NOT use task killers!
- Keep list of installed apps short, please
- Finally, don't expect form heavy rom like MIUI to run smooth on such a weak device as ours
- MIUI's tips&tricks, it's worth reading, you will most probably find something you didn't knew about MIUI

If it runs JB then its sure its not for LB cuz for installing 4.0+ roms we require unlocking the bootloader cuz we have to flash custom kernel

Those Members who has tested plz reply. I am really frustrated using ported rom without fingerprint security.
Only note 5 ported rom/s were having theming & Fingerprint but base was 5.1.1.
