Hi, after do s-off the phone doesn`t charge when is off, I put it to charge and the phone turns up and it only charge when it is on. Any idea what is happening?

so my battery ran out so my phone turned off by itself.
so i tried to turn it on again, it came up and shuts off.
so i charged the battery.
now my phone wont turn on at all, with the fresh battery.
anyone encounter this problem before?
anyone know what to do?

have you just tried to pull your battery for a min or two. Have you tried to hold the volume + - power?
have you try to charge your phone for 10 min and hold power button for longer than 10 sec to turn it on ? , np
Hey guy i was lookin for some help on what to do, yesterday it said i had an update so i updated it, but while it was updating it turned of (which i thot was normal) the problem is it will not turn back on! Ive tried takin the battery off, turning it back on, plugging it to the charger trying to charge it then turning it on, BUT IT WONT TURN ON!!! IS THERE A WAY I CAN GET IT TO WORK AGAIN?

Was the battery indicator low when it was updating?
Edit: Also does the led turn on when you charge the device?
If the phone died during the update process because the battery indicator was low, then I would say your phone is bricked. This is to my knowledge.
Your best bet is to return because your still under the 30 day warranty. So exchange your phone! All hope is not lost.

not sure i didnt check! but might have been...and no the LED doesnt turn on

When I charge my phone with the phone on, it charges fully and makes no noise. However, if I want to charge the phone with the phone off, it vibrates when the charge is full. How do I turn this vibration off?
I have a reason for turning the phone completely off to charge overnight sometimes.
EDIT: I should have put this in the Galaxy S2 forum. If anyone can move it there it would be more appropriate.
Hi There,
I had put my phone on charge the other night, everything was fine and it was happily charging away. I wakeup in the morning and see a notification on my phone. I unplug my phone the battery then shows 1% and turns off. I then did the smart thing of removing the battery for 5 seconds, putting it back in, turning it on and it turnt on but with 0%. I then put the phone back on charge.
This is where it gets interesting yet annoying. The phone flashes a red light whilst charging, it then goes to boot up showing the sony ericsson logo and then just turns off and repeats itself. I have had the phone on "charge" for an hour but to no avail of anything working. I am unable to connect via usb as the port to re-flash the phone as when it was repaired for some reason it has never connected via usb again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I purely drained my batter and when I tried to charge it it boots. But when I tried to remove the charger it turns off and cannot be turned on anymore? And its only booting when you charge it or put it on usb.
I cant understand what happend I did not do anything to the software so I think this is not bricked?
