The big thing is it confirms there will be a QHD resolution on the Galaxy Note, that’s a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution on the display.
The original size of the image is 2560 x 2560. That’s because Android devices usually have wider images, it’s just to accommodate extra homescreen panes. That’s the way you get the visual effect of moving over the image when your cycle through the pages. The height of the image does confirm the QHD resolution though.
Hope to get the note 4....

Meh. It's got that horrible physical home button.
I'd rather wait in a few months when Ice Cream Sandwich comes out with the following features:
no physical front facing buttons
edge-to-edge display
LTE
NFC
then I'll dump my Galaxy S II.
Please let this thread die and use the other one!
lol
is there a way for cremation of thread?
On the results screen after benchmarking my Verizon LG G2, the spec screen reads saying my phone has 480 ppi. This can't be correct as it's supposed to be 423 ppi. Is this reading incorrect or is the Verizon version shipped with a higher density screen we weren't told about?

Moderators, I apologize. I thought this was the Q&A section. Please move to that section.
dpi and ppi are two different things. dpi is dots per inch, ppi is pixels per inch. http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/screens_support.html might explain why dpi is relevant (mainly for developers). ppi can't be modified, it's built into the actual display, dpi on the other hand can be edited through "build.prop" which would allow you to make the operating system within the display look smaller or larger (kind of like changing the resolution on your computer).
The screen size of this phone is going to be a benchmark size for the phones coming next year after Google themselves have gone for a 6" screen. How best do you utilize this massive real estate? Widgets etc that make use of the screen. Will start with mine.

Hi everyone, since the last update in March, in the screen settings the option to change the resolution has disappeared. Where did she go? Because according to the galaxy max hz application my current resolution is in fhd +. I would have liked to be able to go back to wqhd + please.
Spoiler: Screen shot

Which version of the S21 do you have? The classic version only offers fhd. So that would be normal.
