Can we customize the quick window in our phones?
Like make it show the whatsapp messages or something

Me too. I want to see some app on the window, but i only see Clock, Weather and Music.
How do to see more app on the window ???

I am trying to find where is the quick window code is and mod it.
If anyone knows, please tell me.

I saw a thread of the G2 that made it show the number of whatsapps that had arrived and things like those, but with the latest system update it doesn't work for them

This is a Tasker thing. Not the actual code.
But I can adapt it to make it work for the G2 Mini (and possibly the G2)

Hello,
I don't think they have release qwindow api and nor they will do in the future.
In lg developer site http://developer.lge.com/resource/mobile/RetrieveOverview.dev?categoryTypeCode=ANRS
They talk just about
LG QPair SDK
LG QCircle SDK
LG QSlide SDK
LG QRemote SDK
QCircle is the QWindow that works just for lg g3.

LG doesn't provide an API for the Quick Window, so we can't :/

QW uses your lock screen wallpaper as background, if that's what you mean.

I attached the files to this post.
You need Tasker 4.5b1+ for this to import properly!
If you use Tasker 4.5b2+ then you don't have to disable the option under "Monitor".
Use them instead of the files in the below post.
P.S.: I also attached the "Project" version of this 'mod'. It's a bit faster to import, but the same.
