I have a S3 for 2 years, but last month there was a problem ..
The phone battery is empty and it went off when I put it on the charger and switched on the screen appeared setup (like when I bought the phone), which meant that I went back to factory settings ...
I tried Dr.Fone for Android to get back files that were on the phone (pictures, videos, documents, etc) But since I do not have a complete version of the program I could not go back ... but we're on the phone happened is busy 8GB of memory which I do not have access to.
when i go to settings/ storage
I'm new to this forum so I can not put links so no pictures: /
I wonder if there is access to the Miscellaneous Files
And is there any other way to get back the files on the phone?
Thanks in advance, Regards

Question = Q&A
You are simply not going to be able to do anything if you have not already backed up .
Is your phone rooted with CWM then its possible that a Nandroid backup could be done blind .
jje
can't i do anything with play.google.com ?
is there any chance to do from there ????
or something else can be suggested please ....
please help me ...
but ,why don't you replace the display ,because some time ago i've broken my sgs display ,went to a service replaced , and all my data was untouched.i don't think that replacing the screen (at service)will wipe your data
you can sync your apps and contacts by google account.
Hi everyone,
First I am no expert, but I've been going through all possible forums for a solution to my problem with no easy solution. I've cracked my screen on my Samsung SII i9100 (current firmware version: I9100JPKG2/I9100OJPKG1/I9100XXKF1/I9100JPKG2 DBT). I have replaced the Firmware once a year ago through Odin as I needed to access different languages no available on the original firmware. I think it is not rooted! If it is then it wasn't intentional . Now I am trying to send it for repair. The phone still connects to USB and Kies and through it I managed to delete all contacts, pictures and media. I accessed the internal memory and cleaned up all folders I previously placed on it, but didn't have the guts to go further through what looked like system or application folders.
Now I need to wipe all the account data, memos, and applications. Since I have no visibility, I tried a hardware factory reset like 5 times but it never worked, I've confirmed that. Read a couple of times about something called "adb" and how I maybe can wipe such data through it, or maybe use my computer monitor as a screen! Despite a whole day of reading and downloading and trying stuff, didn't manage to get it right.
If anybody has a solution for this problem, please don't spare on details, flying blind is difficult
Thanks in advance
4.3 Broke my phone (please help!)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just received the 4.3 update*OTA*on Sunday, and now i have MASSIVE problems with my phone.
my battery is draining rapidly, i cant access any files- My files freezes my phone, i cant downloadapps, or files from emails, my camera cant save photos, gallery freezes my phone, it reboots randomly, and vibrates randomly. I cant even connect to a PC
Sprint recommends a clean wipe, but there are files i don't want to loose. the easy answer is "you should have backed up first" well... i would have had i known it was doing a massive update. i didn't get any warning it was going to download, let alone break my phone.
is there any work arounds to get my files off the internal storage, or a new rom onto the sd card to then recover, or even a sideload of a file management app which might be able to read my internal memory?
I do not have a PC at home to work from, only an adroid tablet. and my phone is my only Internet source at home.
Hi Everyone, I need some serious help - thanks in advance!
I have a LG Enlighten phone - I am a tech, although I am new to the whole smartphone thing (ya, I know, where have I been lol). Anyway, as you probably know it has limited internal storage. So I have a Sandisk 32gb micro sd card installed where I move things over to it to keep space open on the internal. The phone is rooted.
Ok, things were going well - and I am not sure what happened precisely, but obviously I must have moved something over to the sd card I shouldn't have. The phone went wonky on me after a reboot. I got stuck in a boot loop I could not recover from. So I did a factory reset (power button, home, and volume up). That went just fine. I activated just fine to. Problem is after that all I get is: Sorry! the application com.android.lgsetupwizard (process com.android.lgsetupwizard)has stopped unexpectedly. please try again.
You can press the force close button a million times (I probably have) and nothing happens. I have tried EVERYTHING to try to clear this and I can't get passed it. I've spent two days online reading forums, web pages, watching youtube videos - nothing has helped. Problem is, since I did a factory reset its back to defaults (I am assuming) meaning USB debugging and mounting is turned off because it is turned off as default. I can't get passed that infernal screen to turn it back on.
I don't have any data on here that I care about I just want my phone back. I don't mind flashing the rom but for the life of me I can't get at it!
When I go into restore mode, at least with the enlighten it doesn't give you options - it just shows the picture of the android for a few seconds then reboots. No idea what it's doing there.
I tried re-formating the micro sd card thinking maybe it was picking something up from there, that didn't seem to do anything.
I have Android Studio installed, I was hoping to do something through it - but again the phone isn't mounting when plugged into my laptop (windows 7) - it was before - no doubt because that feature is turned off because of the factory reset.
If you have ideas, please speak in small words with lots of steps. Thanks.
HELP!
Dear all,
Since the last update a few days ago for my s8 it has been like if the phone cant acces the internal and external data fully. I can open apps. But when I try to send smth via these apps or open files e.g. they crash. Saving/making pics/files doesnt work either. Data is only viewable via es file explorer, but not able to open it.
And I cant install new apps.
Also the battery drain is increased.
Sometimes when I restart the phone its normal but goes back to its 'bad' state quickly.
Android vers. 8.0.0
Samsung experience vers. 9.0
Storage used: 56,5/64GB, 108/119GB.
I dont know what the update exactly was, but before the update, even if the phone was almost full, everything worked fine and everything was accesible.
Battery was also okay.
Does know somebody know whats wrong and what I can do to fix it. I tried looking for similair cases but couldnt find any.
Thanks a lot!
