Basically, as owners of this tablet. I was wondering if I should get it. All the specs seem good, the reviews I have read are almost all positive. I have managed to find one used for Canadian 200$. Should I buy and why or why not.

it depends on the future use. I wouldn't recommend buying it for games, cause it's not the fastest one on the market now, but for everything else if you have the money, why not?

I have been seeing quite a few on ebay lately for around $70.00
But I do have to tend to agree, that MOST folks here on XDA would take care of what they have.
Where would you recommend for looking for a new device online? I use straight talk with an AT&T sim. I really want to upgrade and go for an S3 or something else in the near future. Just wanted to know where ya'll look when you are searching to buy a used device.

I would say go for it, i love this phone so far, and having tested the moto G, you can get your Optimus to have the same voice search commands from home screen like it, plus better specs and as a pretty darn personal opinion, it looks better as well Compare them further and take your choice wisely best regards.
No, you would be paying too much for this. Look on eBay, you should be able to get one for cheaper. This thing is only worth about 100 cash if you buy locally somewhere
I only payed 169 for mine. It was in near perfect condition, but doesn't come with OEM charger(I already have plenty anyway).

Yes lg optimus g looks awesome. Plus the sd card slot. That's what got me not to buy the Moto g. I was but after almost always have a device with external micro sd card slot, I don't think I can go without it lol

With eBay you just have to make sure to buy from a good seller. Some of my best shopping experiences were with eBay sellers, some small sellers who try to do good business really bend over back forwards to make sure you are 100% happy. You gotta think it is almost impossible to have like a 99 some percent positive feedback. I sell some stuff too, when people are happy with their purchase they don't leave feedback , and they destroy you when there is a tiny little thing they are unhappy about

That's exactly why I want it. I haven't been able to find others with similar specs and under 200 bucks . Only the moto g . I wanted a Sony phone but they are way overpriced from low specs. I'm leaning towards the Optimus g

I moved from the S3 to the S5. I'll likely do the same with the S7.
Prime is just like the Active to me. I didn't pickup an S4, nor an S4 Active, why get the S5 Prime? If it was the same price, that would be one thing, but it will be more expensive at first.
i am only jumping if the Z2 comes to tmobile and if that does not come out then i am gonna jump to the Note 4
In all honesty, if the HTC m8 comes out with a prime version... With a stronger camera.. Probably going to jump ship. It's not to say that I don't like the s5, I just effing hate touchjizz and I'm tired of the plastic.
Came from an s3 and i thought I would enjoy the upgrade... But it still feel like the same thing... I will say that battery life is a hell'a better though so... There's that I guess?

The way I'll trade up is if Samsung has an Official Trade In program for owners of the S5.
The chances of Samsung doing this is next to none though so I won't be upgrading to the S5 Prime but instead will wait for the Note 4.

I just upgraded to a Note 4 and I'm loving it. The Note 2 was an awesome phone and I used it for 2 years but it was time to upgrade. My question is that how much should I ask for my white Note 2? I have an extra S Pen & 2 extra batteries & charger plus some cases. I can figure out how much to add for the accessories but what should I ask for the phone itself? It's near mint & was always in a case....Also, where is the best place to sell the phone: Swappa or eBay? I want to use the one that would sell it the fastest & of course the most...I will be using Paypal only as the accepted payment if that matters?

I would look to see what one is selling for, on EBay or any of the the other sites that you can buy a used phone and that should gibe you a jump off point for the price. Also, what version of android is on it? Is the boot loader unlockable? Hell, if your not too high on the price, I may give you an offer on it for another phone for testing builds on. I have 2 galaxy Note 8.0s gt-n5110 and that really make it nice for testing out what works and what does not on new roms and mods.

Unfortunately the phone is locked however also rooted....I prefer using Xposed over another rom...It just gave me the freedom to completely customize what I wanted...and it was a nice work around to not being able to install roms with the locked bootloader. I also have a Note 12.2 that is rooted but tripped Knox...however it's stock rooted also...but the tablet is less imperative to be rooted. As for the Note 2...I also have several cases & 2 extra batteries & a battery charger to include with the phone. I figured it would be a great phone for someone's kid...powerful yet cheap enough not to break the bank like a new phone would... Thanks for the information!!
