I do, it's vibrate 3 times but when I boot the device, nothing happend.

I think they gave you a defective phone. I saw this issue on one Xperia SP and L as well. Had to send them off to the service center

Yes, I have this problem and will surely return the phone... It's very annoying and I should put down the phone for 15min until it works again...
In fact, we bought two Mini's and both have the problem.
We are in Belgium

If you have root, you can run THIS script and everything'll be fine
Thanks for your answer!
Phones are not rooted and I don't intend to root them...
Will return them to the shop and get a new one. I hope this will solve the problem.
Screen lightly flashing is normal, light sensor is changing the brightness.
I don't understand what you mean with overcharged. Battery cannot be overcharged.

You are right... The phone cannot overcharge... but when it becomes warm the problems start...
The moment I use the phone for - let's say 10-15min - it becomes unresponsive. The screen pop-up menus start flashing (appear - disappear) and I just have to switch off the screen and wait 10-15min before I can use it again but not for long...
I haven't searched in any other forum but I read about a guy who had the same problem and he received a new Mini...
So as soon as we are back in Belgium I will change both our Mini's.

This isn't an overcharge problem, from what you've said anyway. If it was an overcharge/overheating problem it would show up as soon as you use the phone?
I had an old LG Chocolate. One of the first heat sensor touch button phones and that had the problem of when the phone got too hot (either sitting in the sun too long or on charge too long in a warm room) it would start jumping around the menus and all that, I couldn't work the phone without cooling the touch buttons down. It happened as soon as I unlocked the phone, sometimes i even think it was trying to do things even when it was locked.
So the fact that it happens 10-15min after stated using, leads me to believe it is something else. Does anyone else agree with me, or am I completely off base??
Cheers,
Evil.
Thank you all...
I think i better consider again to buy the phone....

My touch is dead, doesnt responding at all. I will take it tomorrow to the service..
Try this
OK, try this man, it works for me. Long press power off+vol up button and hold it until it vibrates 3 times in a row. Ur phone will turn off after that. Than simply turn on ur phone. My touch works now.
I have the same problem, no response at all from touch. Tried the forced shutdown, still dead. Was your solution to replace the touch?

Hello.
My name is Jacek and i'm from Poland. First of all sorry for my english
So....
I had purchased Sony Xperia P on 6th march 2013. After two days i started to have problems with the touchscreen.
After unlock with the button on the right side of my Xperia, touchscreen did not react/respond.
This fault was very disturbing.
I tried to fix it by PC Companion, but it doesn't works. After 6 days i gave my phone to repair.
After five days local Sony Service Centre gave my my phone with the note, that they installed new software (the same software as i had before i gave my phone to repair) and that the specification of my Xperia is consistent wit Sony guidelines.
Today is third day i recive my phone from Sony Service. My Xperia still doesn't work. Touchscreen don't respond i cannot do anything with my phone. It is very, very annoying. I will add, that after repair i cannot restore my settings and data with PC Companion.
What should i do? Thanks for any help.
Change network to 3g/ wcdma only ans see if it works

I cannot do this because in my localization 3G is not available.
I had the same problem, only solution was new touchscreen, it is a know issue with Xperia P, lots of similar cases in Sony's official forum as well.
They will always tell you to restore your phone with PC Companion but that will not help I your touchscreen is faulty.

[Q] Xperia X10i can't understand the problem

Hello Developers actually i'm in deep trouble in the past few day my mini usb port has been broken so i made it repaired by a local vendor now it doesn't recognise my phone it only charge and i'm stuck on 2.1 update 1 after the repair was done now it shows me no service and i didnt root my phone so kindly give me suggestion to fix plz..
No root, so just try to go to PC companion and press REPAIR and try this or just go to repair shop and let them deal with this.
Sounds like it hasn't been repaired correctly, seems like the only thing fixed on it is the power pins and not the data pins I would take it back and get them to double check their work more than likely they will not accept responsebility for it so might be worth to take it to another repairer and get a second opinion

it has been repaired twice so any suggestions
Looks like its a hardware fault could be the actual mini USB port or the motherboard contacts which is more than likely due to the resoldering in the previous repairs so I would say its fault is on the motherboard near the mini USB port not sure if that can be repaired a new phone maybe required

Well for signal go to settings-networks&wireless-mobile networks and network mode and change it and see if it helps. And for USB thing. Make sure your PC is connected to the internet, turn off you phone and press the power button, when the phone vibrates connect the phone to the PC using the USB and see if the drivers get installed.

[Q] Xperia go SIM card problem pls help

Hi guys,
Recently bought the xperia go worked fine for about 3 and a half weeks when i suddenly noticed while in work the phone was off so i thought i probably turned it off in my pocket.
Turned it back on but didn't bother 2 check put it back in pocket as i was busy.... few minutes later checked back on it phone off again!
Proceeded to turn it back on and waited, i noticed as soon as the phone got service from the SIM card it turned off.
Tried and tried to no avail..... eventually took out the SIM and tried another same problem then tried in airplane mode it worked tried without SIM in it worked.
Only when SIM is inserted and gets service this problem it happens.
So i flashed it over worked for at least an hour then got back same problem.
Has anyone ever had this problem? I Googled every possible keyword nothing comes up with this problem which is why i decided to post.....
Posted video to youtube:

Maybe your SIM card slot has been damaged. Go to SONY service center to get it repaired but they will charge you a heavy amount of around Rs. 5000-10000 because they are going to change the whole motherboard. You can get it repaired from outside mobile repairing shops to save some money.
Oh god no, but I think the shop where I bought this from offers a parts and labor warranty, im just not 100% sure. Does sony even offer that? Or is that even possible?
