[Q] Using App in Bluestack - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello friends,i want you to help me.
I have installed bluestack and its rooted.I have installed an application "moolah" its an Indian app which gives recharges for the app downloads.
Now i want to completely delete it and also the apps i have downloaded from it,so that i can use the app like new and exploit it again.
steps i have tried:
1. normal uninstall with clear cache and data
2.searching for the app name in directory and removing some files which were not removed during uninstall
3.clearing the browser history(as it uses the tracking system to detect if the app is being downloded from moolah)
the only solution that worked for me is the BSmulti tool V1.21,but it takes a lot of time to reset BS and run again and register google id and stuff.
So basically i am looking for somebody to help me uninstall the apps moolah and the apps downloaded from it completely without using hard reset on BSmulti tool.
Any help will be appreciated, please ask more questions if more information is needed. Thanks in advance

[Q] Problem installing Avast Anti-Theft as root app on Hero?

I recently tried to install the free Avast Anti-Theft software. This software is free, and the feature set is pretty cool. It installs itself into your system apps so that it can survive a factory reset. However, this aspect of the software doesn't seem to be working. When I try to follow the in-app instructions and install the app via the direct write method, there are no errors and I am told to reboot at the end. When I reboot, the app is not there, and I have to go through the installation again.
I also tried an alternative method of installing via an UPDATE.ZIP file from within recovery. The zip claims to install with no errors in recovery, but again, no sign of the app when I boot.
This app used to be called Theft Aware until Avast bought them out, and the old version installed fine as root on my Hero. I have tried to get answers from the Avast forum, but the guys there seem to be clueless.
Any thoughts? Anyone successfully installed this app as root on their Hero? I am running Floyo 1.2 custom ROM.
Are you searching for the correct name? I just installed the app and as far as I can see it disguises itself with a fake name in order not to be detected and removed. You are prompted to choose the name yourself at the beginning of the install guide!

[Q] Google Play Services Error

Pls I seriously need help with my tablet. Sometimes ago, I used the Link2sd app to kink apps to my SD. I linked also the Google play services and my superuser app. When I finished, I then rebooted the device only to find later that the link2sd refused to mount. As a result, all apps I linked refused to display. They just were gray, you can't launch or do anything with them. Most unfortunately, was that the Google play services app and the superuser app could not be found. I could no grant or allow superuser permission for apps any more. I uninstalled the link2sd, rebooted, no way. I cleared data/cache no way of various apps, no way. I tried system reset from seetings, no way and worst now, I can't boot into recovery too to do factory reset. The device won't install apps any more cos the package installer stopped working as well. I cant go to play store or use any app associated with google. Pls I seriously need help. I use the Tecno phantom mini pad also known as tecno p9. Someone pls help. Thanks

alcatel onetouch pop 4 5051x

Hello, I have an alcatel pop 4 model 5051x.
4 useless apps consume 50% of the battery and I would like to delete them (force stop does not work) and for that I need to root my phone.
The problem is that this model has the bootloader locked.
I tried a lot of methods, from kingoroot to adb but nothing happened. Yet he is recognized by adb.
I also downloaded all the drivers including qualcomm as well as android studio ...
The phone does not even have a day with these apps, help me please!
And if you have the solution, do not hesitate to explain step by step, thanks!
i succeeded !
I succeeded !!!
For those who are interested :
- install Kingroot 5.3.0 apk on your mobile (uninstall the installed app)
- run the root as many times as necessary, making sure that you have granted the administrator and accessibility rights
when the phone restarts, restart it
- as soon as the phone is rooted (be careful it's temporary but you can start again if necessary), install the flashify app
- choose "recovery image", and choose where you put your twrp http.s://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6EQd1aL0EmWX3I2WEFuVmdUcUk/view
- restart on the twrp (I took the opportunity to make a backup above all, count 10/15 minutes)
- launch the Supersu zip install (SuperSU-v2.82-201705271822) that you have taken care to place at the base of your sd card
- restart, supersu is installed
- to transfer my apps, I chose besides the app uninstall system (root)
And finally, here is your Alcatel pop 4 5051x which holds the load again and you can control without parasites
Hi. Now I need your help, since you succeeded, and apparently you're the only one on xda-developers and on the whole Internet!
As I am a complete newbie, please tell me what exactly did you mean in your last bullet ("to transfer my apps, I chose besides the app uninstall system (root)"), and how do you actually remove the 4 useless apps?
Thanks!

"App uninstall system (root)" is an app from Google play but you can choose another one of course, just choose one "root" in order to access to app system.
Be careful of what you desinstall. To choose apps, I've looke on the battery, which apps were consuming the most and I uninstalled they after searching the net to make sure they were not needed.
I offered this phone to my son 1 month ago and he works very well included with 3D games with a long life battery !
Just wanted to confirm that this is working. I installed Flashify, downloaded the TWRP img and supersu zip to my SD card in advance to avoid any issues, and after four tries or so it finally rooted. Thanks OP!

If your device has root access, you can remove King root with other applications or from the King root settings. Uninstall the application with link2sd. If you can not delete the application, you will have to install the stock rom.

Thanks , but after three dots -> i have option to uninstall OR convert to user app.
Under both i get the same error:
"Link2SD could not obtain root access.
Maybe as i formatted my phone, i am no longer rooted and hence the error.
Also, i tried disabling Kingroot from phones builtin "Applications manager" and yes it seems disappeared from my App list on phone, Is it safe to say its no longer working on my phone even in background ?

The application that you deactivated will not run again, but if it really was malware, it probably installed other malware applications. I recommend you to do a complete analysis with several antivirus programs starting with Dr. Web.

Please HELP!!

I hope somebody read this, I got a some specific trouble with my phone, I got a Samsung Galaxy A5, with Android 4.4.4 KitKat ( I know it's too old), I can't use Google play store anymore, so I must to look and download APK files from the web (APKpure, APKmirror, etc,). The trouble I got it's not exactly with my phone, it's with some app I downloaded from the web, the app is WaveEditor it's an audio editing app (The app is Pro Unlocked). I downloaded the file and I uploaded to virustotal.com, to know if the file had a virus, 60 antivirus told me the file is clean, so I installed in my phone and everything was alright, I use the app and any trouble, but some days after using the app I saw the info app, and I surprised myself, the app told me the space occupied was 512GB, (I couldn't taked a screenshot) it is ridiculous because of my phone got 16GB and 2GB the SD card, so after to see that I tryed to deleted the data of the app but no happens anything I tryed to uninstall the app but the phone restartg one's own. I don't open the app again. So I want to know if the app is the trouble or it's a trouble of my phone.
Go into safe mode and uninstall app. Is it set as a system Administrator?
If that fails, factory reset.
If that fails it may need to be reflashed.
Just because an app is clean when you install it doesn't prevent it from downloading its payload latter. Kitkat is vulnerable to some nasty rootkits that can worm their way out of the user partition ie Xhelper. Best to firewall block apps that don't need internet access and don't allow them to update. Karma Firewall works very well doing this.
