Hello all.
I tried to debrand my phone but i have used the xperia mini and not the mini pro firmware, so now the phone is not functioning properly(keys and keyboard dont work).
Besides that every time i boot the phone it displays 2 errors:
-Roadsync (process.com.dataviz.stargate)
-User support (process.com.sonyericsson.android.support)
have stopped unexpectedly and then the screen displays only the known blue background without any menus.
Only the top taskbar is working but i cannot do anything with it.
The phone is rooted with exploid method.
So i'm trying to figure out a way to make a clean install of the firmware again but SEUS says i have the latest software and PC companion fail to do the work also.
Practically the phone is bricked and useless now.
Any ideas on how to function it again?
pay some money to omnius-server.com download u20i generic uk rom, then flash you phone
edit this is generic uk U20i_WORLD_1_8_CDF1238_0199.rar
thanx for ur help.
Is there another way of doing it without omnious? I don't own a paycard
You might be able to reflash using this method in the X10 Mini Development forum, substituting the appropriate files in blob_fs for mini pro ones. In the u20a thread here, there's an archive linked for u20a, not sure if there's a u20i set around. Either will work if you can get it on the phone.
Else a commercial solution Davinci Team or Omnius is probably going to be the only option.
Oke i got the U20 firmware, is there a way to push it onto the phone through the adb commands or something?
Nothing seems to be working in the phone now. After reboot the service roadsync stops unexpectedly and the the known blue background.
Tried to do the update but nothing(have the latest so it does not update).
If only i could find a way to push the firmware to the phone through the sdk commands...

I haven't. I'll try to acess some other pc.
Besides that i cannot run adb commands. The device cannot be found, maybe because i cannot enable the usb debuging from the phone.
I have attached 3 pics of what i see when the phone boots...
The 1st one is with the process roadsync, the 2nd is after i press ok and appears the blue background. The 3d pic is the only thing functioning...the notification bar

Yes it does, but what can be done from that menu?
I see the options of the data traffic settings and i cannot practically do nothing.
An additional info: if i put the sim card to the phone it is not recognized, it's like it has no sim card at all

Well, I had a thought that if you can access the menu, may be you can try getting into settings with home button or menu button. But then I recalled that you said buttons are not working on your phone..
Mate, I suggest you try to repair it through seus from another computer..

I think you should take it to any local service guy and get it reflashed.. I think thats the only way remaining...
Or you can ask someone to take a look at your device through teamviewer or something...

I have the same phone but mine is running android 4.0.4 can I ask you if your magnetic sensor is working? I mine is a yamaha530 but it doesn't give out data...
And please let me know if you find something, i've been searching high and low... I've even offered fastcardtech a free ftp server for all their Roms on talkingmobi.com if they can help us... Same as you I want to find out if we can use the "root many mtk65xx" here on Xda.. But I'm not really up to just testing and bricking it..
I received a reply from the phone supplier with a way to root th phone, I'll test it ASAP and post the results

So i managed to root my N9977 this is how:
Download this rar first: www.anniblue.com/xda/rootingn9977.rar
1. Enable usb debugging and connect the phone to your pc.(win xp/ wista/ 7/ 8)
2. Install Snappea and download the usb driver within Snappea, when the phone is recognized, pls turn Snapped off and click do not remember it
3. Go to pc task manager- process- kill wandoujia helper.
4. Extract MTK6577 One Key Root to your pc, and click one key root.bat, then press enter on your keyboard then on your phone there should pop up a restore screen choose restore My Data (No need to type the password). Then the phone will auto reboot twice.
Meanwhile do not touch anything on your phone or pc, or the phone will get bricked.
5. Check menu- if there is an “#” icon, if yes, it’s rooted, or do it again.
The one key root.bat is all in Chinese or some strange language but no need to do anything but click enter after you open it. Then after its installed you will get a Chinese superuser apk but just download superuser from play store and run a binary update in the new one and you'll be fine
Enjoy
I got this from the fascardtech tech support but I had to rewrite the guide as it seemed translated with Google from Chinese.

Does anyone out there has the original ROM for N9977 with Android 4.1.1?
I bricked my N9977 by rooting it with the N9776 root method... : (
Bought a ZTE V965 because it was a special offer and I wanted to give android a try. Nice phone for the money, hardware wise, but software wise it needed some work. No google apps! I rooted the phone with vroot, worked fine. Installed SuperSU and CWM, seemed fine, but CWM is not fully functional. When I boot in restore mode, it doesnt mention CWM, it seems to be the native restore mode.
Tried to install google apps as APK's, but this didnt work. Play store closes instantly. Can't login chrome. Tried to install gapps.zip in recovery mode, error message, not working. I gave the phone a factory reset a few times during all this, and that worked fine.
Then I read a guide for manually installing gapps to the system app folder.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2428314
So I installed root explorer, and put several gapps files in the system app folder:
OneTime Initializer.apk
GoogleLoginService.apk
Google Services Framework.apk
Setup Wizard.apk
Gmail.apk
Still not working though, gmail app crashes.
So I wanted to factory reset again, to start with a blank canvas. Big mistake!!! After the factory reset, the google files are not removed! Now when I boot the phone the setup wizard starts and crashes. I haven't found a way to get around it. What makes things worse, the phone is no longer detected when connected to my PC. Before ADB toolkit would detect the phone, no problem. Now nothing.
Any ideas what I can do? All that is necessary (I expect) is that this setupwizard is killed/bypassed/whatever, but I can't figure out how to do it.
I can get into the emergency number dialer, maybe something is possible from there?
Well, as always, immediately after posting, I made some progress! I booted the phone, and got a low battery warning, from which I could access the settings and enable USB debugging. Now I have ADB toolkit connected again. Also, I went into application settings, to kill and disable all these gapps. I managed to do this for all but one, the biggest problem: setupwizard.apk. Maybe because it's running i can't disable it? The option is greyed out. So when I reboot, I still get the setup wizard that crashes.
However, I do have what i believe is a stock ROM (from a chinese website, hard to be sure, but the name suggests it). Might try to flash that one using adb-toolkit.
Finally managed to fix it using linux shell. Killed the setupwizard task, deleted all gapps from system/app, problem solved.
Still would very much like to have working Gapps though. Hopefully this phone will become more popular outside China, so more people will look into flashing it. I've tried, but I can't do it. No fastboot drivers, and the native flash method (putting update.zip on phoen storage) doesn't work. For now I'll stick with the stock ROM and just use it in it's very limited state.
chance you can put a link to that stock ROM you found?

Hello Byte_Me,
I've been looking for weeks how to get GApps on my ZTE V965 and tried everything I could, but each time with a different error. Today you made my day to let me know that I'm not the only one with this problem. Since no-one seems to use this device I wasn't able to find any working tutorial to fix Google Apps on this chinese android. I really hope you can tell me soon how you did this, so I can finally move on. Could you please send the link to your topic when you publish it? Thanks in advance and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEWYEAR!!!

sctrach that - just updated the buggy apps through the Google Play.
Woo-hoo!
Nice to hear that, it makes the phone a lot more usable, doesnt it?
Any problems? I am still not satisfied, but I guess it's a work in progress.
Annoyances:
- not recognizing callers, some incompatibilities caused by country prefixes in my address book
- no badge notifications on icons, makes it harder too see missed calls, have to look at status bar
- some other stuff i can't think of now

Tried reading through all the links, still can't get the light to turn green on mtk tools. V 965 is rooted by the Romjd app. Downloaded the rom rated 9.5. Installed the Vcom driver.
Can't load scatter files in sp flash tool..
Quite the noob at this stuff and guidance would be great. I did install ZTE driver when i connected the phone. Was that a mistake?

I never used SP flash tool.
Make sure phone is rooted.
Use MTK tools to install CWM zip package (just follow the instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44660171&postcount=417)
Boot into CWM and install google apps zip package.
I think USB debugging must be switched on in settings.

Guys whatever i soft or hard bricked my v965. It's stuck on the opening ZTE logo. I can't get into recovery mode to wipe the cache.
The ZTE drivers are not loading i guess cause its not in usb debugging mode. Been at this hours and i'm lost.
Any advice?
Hi guys,
I have an old S2 (Model: I9100G) that i loved tinkering with, the one with monitor-mode capable wifi chipset.
Well, recently my S2's screen suddenly stopped working. I want to gain access to the internal data (also to be able to crack WIFI's by connecting it to a laptop through ADB ) .
Now, the problem is i have password protected TWRP using an online tutorial (can't post here, but it involved putting ui.zip onto the internal storage). As for ADB, even though Android debugging is enabled, it can only be used after unlocking the screen lock, for which i have a pattern lock.
I know both the TWRP password and the screen lock pattern, but there is no way for me to enter it.
Some things i though of/tried;
1) I've tried with the OTG cable + mouse, but i got frustrated after the first 15 mins of trying to unlock the phone blindly.
2) Reflash recovery using Odin? Won't that wipe the internal data..? And also i haven't been able to find a file to flash via ODIN, only to flash via recovery... Or can i just flash the standard zip file with recovery.img inside in Odin without wiping my data?
3) An HID pattern bruteforcer, except i'd program it to enter only my pattern
Any suggestions?
Thank you!!

I tried that. In the emergency recovery menu, my device doesn't show up. Does it just take a while for it to appear or should it be instant?
Also, for reference, my s9+ is working, except for the apps that freeze
I think, you have to boot into download-mode for the smart switch recovery.
Also first plug in your phone and then open smart switch

Make sure to unregister from the Beta. Use the samsung Members to do so. You might need the Old Samsung Members or the UK version. The US version was crashing on me after I installed PIE.
Open up Smart Switch on your pc and make sure to install smart switch from the play market on your phone before you plug it in.
Once that is done plug your phone and you should see your s9+ on Smart Switch (pc) and it will say something about downgrade update available.
Good luck

I switched to U1 firmware and got the beta using the app and registering (Also on Xfinity). I did try doing a downgrade using smart switch and it was quite painful and once i finally got it to downgrade it looked like it had destroyed efs so no radio. But I was able to get the full firmware for xfinity and an Odin that works to downgrade and or switch to U1. Let me know if you need links for either.
