Great work just out of curiosity where's V4 as it says in change log ?
OK tested and doesn't boot also boot animation lags badly and needs centring
I don't want to complain and disencourage, but it's always good to test something before releasing it..
Can I ask how often this will be updated ?

It could be nightlies or weeklies as it's one+one CM11S port which gets updated quite often and has more features to normal CM11
What a ****?

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts.
LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Install instructions:
Reboot into recovery (latest official TWRP recommended).
Wipe Data, System and Cache if it's a fresh install.
No wipes required if you're updating from a previous version of CM 13.0 (Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache recommended).
Flash ROM + Gapps.
Reboot.

Usually there is same password/PIN used to decrypt the phone on startup and to unlock the screen. But some ROMs have option to use different passwords for each.
Now the build works fine tested by a few guys including me
User report:
Vamshi Prasad:
New build, everything is working
It's stable
The only bug I'm having is that there's no fast charging
But the ROM sources doesn't have much of customisation.
But the battery backup and all is very much wow.
ROM rating
Battery-10/10
Features-8/10
Stability-9/10(9 because it still lags sometimes)
Overall 9/10(it charges slowly)

XOS is a new generation Android-based cutting-edge OS based on the Android Open Source Project and Code Aurora Forum releases.
What is XOS?
halogenOS, also known as XOS is a new Android ROM which ships with the global aim to
become a modular ROM which keeps as high as potentially possible operating
performance on your mobile device while still maintaining a sufficient feature
base of nice, small and minimal features that would not be available via any
external feature base, extension, mod or plugin.
We hope you have a truly halogenified experience!
Internals of XOS
At core, the ROM is composed mainly of components from the
Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and Code Aurora Forum (CAF),
with extremely minor set of components from LineageOS (LaOS or LN) which
have been added to source in order to allow for better cross-device compatibility.
Our LOVE to others
A huge thanks goes to those behind the AOSP and CAF, the LineageOS Project and all of its
contributors for the sources used in the development of the base ROM which we
started with inclusive of all the work and dedication their team puts in order to
keep us updated on the awesome contributions that they make.
We will be keen on ensuring that we be up to date with the code from our base sources,
with regular ROM updates hopefully coming from time to time.
Please do not ask for ETA's (else you shall be spooked by Mr Skeltal). Almost all of us are
students, and with the current lifestyles and routines we have, it is not that easy to acquire
time to develop the ROM, though we'll be sure to keep you updated and release OTAs as
soon as they are available and ready for publication. If you want to be really updated quick,
then join us on Telegram: http://telegram.me/halogenos
Visit our website for features such as: Downloads, Information etc.
http://halogenos.org
Although no data should be lost or damaged by the flashing process,
we advise you to follow the following steps if you are coming from another ROM:
Code:
* Please take a full [I]Nandroid[/I] backup!
* Please copy your back up to an external device.
* Backing up your [I]Internal Storage[/I] is also recommended.
* When completed, [I]clean flash[/I] the build!
Although you usually may dirty flash halogenOS over other ROMs, considering the other
ROM is built upon the same Android version, it is not guaranteed.
In case of performance issues or crashes please do a clean flash.
You can dirty flash halogenOS 7 (Nougat) over halogenOS 6 (Marshmallow)
without any problems. Although we cannot promise that it will work for you,
although we don't recommend it, we can tell you that this has been tested.
Overall as a ROM, XOS is very stable. Our mission statement has always been of maintaining a clean and properly maintained ROM.
We take proper priority with ensuring that performance and stability are put first, features are considered an extra topping on the cake.

Currently right now, halogenOS will only include the stock Android theme.
We may one day decide to use a custom theme as soon as that theme is working perfectly fine.

Code:
* Please take a full [I]Nandroid[/I] backup!
* Please copy your back up to an external device.
* Backing up your [I]Internal Storage[/I] is also recommended.
* When completed, [I]clean flash[/I] the build!

What is the list of things that work/don't work with this ROM right now, or is it the standard list that UB ports has for any given phone? You mention in the change log that there are no graphics and no ssh. From that it sounds like nothing is working yet. If I have misunderstood what you meant there, LMK. Awesome that you are trying something like this. I have wanted to check out UB ports on a device, but I never had one that had a rom for it.

I don't know actually what does work and what doesn't (except for the graphics), because I can't access to the phone to run some tests
why UT? I've actually never ran a stable port... I ought to, but what is so great about UT compared to Sailfish OS or even Plasma Mobile?

UT vs Plasma Mobile: UT is more documented and there is a bigger community supporting it, and both use a similar halium base
So I may get a build in the next days for Plasma Mobile
And regarding to Sailfish OS, since halium uses a similar system/logic I will search and maybe try to also port it .

There is already a private build of Sailfish OS 2.x for Harpia, and it's reportedly VERY stable but the camera is broken. I think mal on the sailfishos-porters IRC did it, and if he couldn't get the camera to work... good luck with that.
OT removed...
I'm making some builds, are WIP, and just for testing, will be notified here: https://t.me/haliumharpia on telegram and uploaded in GitHub https://github.com/HaliumForMSM8916/jenkins_build on the releases
I tried to flash the zips of ubport, but I get error 2 from twrp. Any ideas why?

MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion...
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application; with this, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!

Standby is better if not flashed to Android Go. With lowram enabler standby time decreased. Maybe not optimized for Android 9. Works great this ROM !!!

It may be battery / increased activity is the tradeoff for responsiveness with low-ram set. Just guessing...

File sharing via bluetoooth?
Hello community!
First of all thanks @dianlujitao for this ROM - I have to say it is faster than expected on this old device!
One issue I came across is: When I try sharing a file (e.g. a picture) with another already paired device via bluetooth I do not get the bluetooth selection in the pop-up? Also pairing itself does not seem to be very stable. Did anyone else observe that as well?
Bro it's still getting pie support. We're thankful for the devs. i hope 10 also works this way
