I am running the Toxic Swamp Rom on my note 3. Is there a way to do group messaging where I don't get everyone's response in individual threads instead of 1 thread for all responses?

I noticed now when I send group text they all go in 1 thread but I dont see multiples of the same texts I send. So I checked with a few friends to see if they see my text as a group text and some say yes some say no. Can someone else verify if the ICS messaging infact supports MMS group chat? Currently I use Handcent SMS to accomplish this but its very buggy so it would be great if the ICS built in messaging can do this now.
Didn't this happen on GB also.? Maybe im wrong.

In GB If i sent to a group in that thread there would be 4 or 5 of instance of my text in a row (depending on how many recipient). But with ICS I just see 1 instance of my text. I should rephrase my OP.
EDIT: I think all ICS does is eliminate the multiple texts showing and doesnt really do mms group chat. As I sent another group text and although my outgoing goes in the group thread once they respond I get individual responses. Oh well.
Anyhow also found this thread which I'm hoping will eventually support mms group chat (WIP).

I don't have a note 2 right now, but probably will soon. I have a couple of questions about the recent update. When I had the note 2 a few months back, I had something that bothered me about messaging that I wanted to find out was changed or not.
When receiving a picture message with text included in the same message, does it still show a slide show or does it now allow you to view the photo without saving it and going to the gallery to see it?
When sending and receiving group text messages, does it allow you to view all sent and received messages from everyone included in the group within the same thread, or do the messages come in sorted under the individual contact's name even if they're in your group message?

It still appears as a slideshow, it did that on my S3 and RAZR MAXX as well.
As for the group messaging I want to say it all shows up under one tab together but I may be wrong as I have only use it once.
Why is this not posted in Q&A?

I've recently noticed the slide-show thing too. Is there another messaging thingy we can install to get rid of that annoying problem? I saw that someone posted the ASOP one - does that fix this ??

I am pretty sure this has been brought up many times but I could not find an answer. I realized that I get some messages from iPhone users in group messages but not from others.... Why is this? I told them to turn off iMessage but it seems to not effect anything... I'm running the AOSP messaging application from HyperDrive.

Just wondering if anyone else was having the same issue I'm having... I'm in a band and the 5 of us have group convos regarding rehearsals and gigs and such... Well I can't figure out why my group messages split into individual contact discussions.. I'll go on break while at work and have 25 new messages in seperate discussions and then have to go through all the different boxes to try and piece together a semi-coherent conversation... really frustrating. I'm on the newest release of JellyBomb Domination ROM. The same the happens whether I'm using the stock messaging app, Handcent, and Hangouts... just really frustrated with it and wondered if anyone maybe had a solution.

If I type a long text message it will not send. Sprint note 3 running Sacs 5.0 lollipop rom. also messages are separated instead of remaining together on incoming text messages
