Hello everybody, i have a question: how do i skip/bypass the "add an account" part of the setup wizard on the lg optimus l5 ii e450/e460? Becouse, if i add one of my 3 google accounts, it will automatically go back to the first part of the add an account section. Home doesnt work. I dont have the latest firmware, so i will update the firmware as soon as i am back on a windows machine. I have a backup, made with adb, but the owner is the "root" account of my ubuntu machine, so i cant restore it. Can someone help me?
PS: the 4 corner trick doesnt work, and typing #testmode in the emergency dialer doesnt work to. And sorry if there are some grammer mistakes, because english isnt my firs language

i have same trouble i cant do anything.
Boot to android and reboot to safe mode (long press on turn off in power menu)! That worked for me

Recently i bought a LG Optimus Chat C550 and tried to root it using this method which worked great!
After that i installed a few apps including Rom Manager and tried to install ClockWorkMod Recovery though Rom Manager. It ask me which model my phone was but since it didn't had my model there i chose 1 that said "And others", the phone rebooted after awhile and now its stuck on LG screen.
I've been trying everything but with no luck, my PC doesn't recognize the phone nor ADB.
I'm not a expert just usually follow guides/tutorials. I can't find anything about how to fix it here on the forum or on google :/
Does anyone know how i can get it fixed?!

Hi I have done exactly the same thing to mine Got a second hand C550 and rooted it then downloaded rom manager then selected phone Optimus V and now just stuck on the LG screen and lights on the qwerty keypad flashing on and off - tried doing a full factory reset by holding end/send/down volume at the same time and that didnt work, if you get any news or fix will you let me know please and I will do the same if I find out something. after trying to install beats audio my lg p710 has bricked, I performed an hard reset (vol down, power, home) but still it won't go to the setup wizard. I can only turn it off by removing the battery.
I have very little knowledge of android but for what I've understand I need to put the phone in download mode and flash the entire stock firmware.
Can you guys help me? I haven't found guides about this phone since it's quite new.
English is not my first language but I hope it's understandable.
edit: actually it's not "bricked", it's in bootloop

Have you read or search int other section of this forum?? maybe you may try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2284822 but DO WITH YOUR OWN RISK.
I think the method more or less similiar,the different just about the STOCK FIRMWARE,choose for your model here http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=21.
Don't forget for driver here http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/client/app/B2CAppSetup.exe.
You can read more in the bottom section from the thread i've said above in the "UNROOTING OR FLASHING STOCK FIRMWARE", don't forget to use firmware for your phone model.
emergency mode=(When phone is off) hold the volume "down" and insert the USB cable (Will Have Yellow Screen)

Done! Thanks, problem solved. I flashed the stock firmware and everything now is working again. Good thing that emergency mode still worked.

my lg l7 p715 stay in bootanimation cuz i was a fool, i deleted a file system so now it just stay in boot animation... i know i have to flash it with kdz but i couldnt install the drivers cuz the phone does not start... i tried with the yellow screen... what can i do??? i was looking for something but i just found this post... i am not sure what to do... whats better for doing this, xp or win7?? thx for everything :good:

I later on that day Master Reset the phone and Now I can't get my phone to load up.. It turns on and brings me to LG setup wizard but says it unexpectedly stopped, I've tried hard resetting and I've went into safe mode and it brings up the message at the home screen, Home screen has unexpectedly stopped. Is there anything I can do to restore my phone back or somehow download setup wizard and install on to my phone from the PC. Also my PC isn't recognizing my phone so I can't even get into the files from the PC.. PLz help me out with this and let me know if theres anythin I can do.

Okey, i go to options press down volume gumb and shutdown gumb for boot, and select factory reset.
Restart phone and my device freeze on startup -.-
Again, the same does not help me factory reset

Hello guys, so I got this l9 P768 model which is apparently stuck at lg logo screen. I've already tried hard reset ( volume down, lock and home ), but sometimes it get to the home screen where numerous errors come up, such as Unfortunately, home has stopped and etc. Even when I make it work, I get different problems such as not being able to use wi fi, or keyboard, or if i restart it - it gets stuck on logo, again.
Note : Previous user said automatic software update failed to finish the process, so I thought it was the main problem, somehow I managed to start the update, it downloaded filed, but failed to install it ( it was 4.1 update ).
Since I'm complete noob, I'd appreciate if you could give me few hints what should I do first, I know I should flash new firmware, but since I've never done that, some help would be appreciated
