Hello all grand 2 users... I recently upgraded to kitkat and started searching the internet for some tweaks until I found a nice tool called RAMEXPANDER, I downloaded their SwapCheck app to check if I can run it... And the shock was when it failed the process...!
So I kept searching a lot for a custom kernel that supports swap, but couldn't find and help... So I consider this thread a question about of there's any kernels that support swap thingy or.......... Maybe someone could make one (meh lol impossible)?

Anyways back to topic, so you mean since grand 2 has 1.5GB RAM, therefore no one will care to interpolate swap support into their kernels? ?
Um I used to use that when I had galaxy y ..... If u wanna manage ur Ram and care abt ur Ram then I have my own thread on this app called Ram Manager ! It's awesome as it allows High Multi tasking and high gaming

Ram expander? Oh just dont say about it.. . Its not that great...

Its like adding a jet engine with a supercar... I too have many apps and mods but just works fine... . Though same lags in game(firmware prob. Though).

i already using swap from the 4.3 on Grand 2... dont need custom one,,, stock from samsung already support that

Wouldn't a pre-expanded RAM be better than continuously modifying your current RAM?
Also I found that swap file feature and made a swap file, but idk how to use it ?

It just crashes after loading screen.

good i think, im also not using modification just make a themes, using kernel from rafael(but mdds a lil), and just removing the stock apps of samsung then i get 1719... I think using chainfire3d can make high score maybe coz our graphic currently low the SGA(for this time)...

yeah with chainfire 3d you can get 3d graphics score upto 411 and 2d to 236...see mine!

Reason is adreno200 has its sources and is used at its full power while VideoCore IV sources arent even released (i blame broadcom).... else i think VideoCore IV would get higher scores.

this are child stories that sources are not released.. samsung have full control over them.. and who said adreno200 sources ?? can you provide link ? all are closed source...whoever says don't have source blame them.. those things are only necessary to get cm7 not stock samsung roms

Using on neo v cm 10 for over 1month and is working good and fyi lmt launcher was before pa pie controls and was taken from stock launcher actions

Works laggy (about 25 or low fps) on GT-S5830 with stock XWKT8 rom and no Chainfire. Need to swipe a little hard sometimes but the job is on the right way. I think the next thing I think is need to do is resizing of texture (if is possible). Good job P.S. I also disabled audio and reduced quality into app settings.
Edit: Reduce also a bit the rendering distance to get some frame more. I hope you'll follow my ideas

Well for me, on an Ace overclocked on 844MHz this Temple Run 2 app runs way better than the old Temple Run 1. In TR1 there was this stupid auto-kill bug, but here there is none. And If you go to Settings and make it only good graphics instead of better, it even runs quiet stable until about 3.000 m, then it gets difficult to swipe etc.
I can't stand people alway moaning about it wont work anyway! Just try it a litte and don't worry be happy
