anyone got VPN working on the S3 yet using the standard Android setup?
I configure it the same way I would for the S2 but all I get is "Unable to connect".... is there a way to get any further diagnostics? Its the same SIM/network, and I can put it back it in the S2 and its fine. I've checked the data/gateway settings and email etc are all fine.

I did using purevpn settings. What bothered me was it will only enable VPN if we put screen lock. I didn't face it on iphone or LG O3D.

Flashed it with a custom ROM, put the same settings in and .... it works. No idea what changed from the stock ROM but hey, its now working

Do you use PPPTP or IPsec? I problem with IPsec, but no problem with PPPTP? Which rom do you mention here? OMEGA v3.0 right?

I used CyanogenMod 9 on my samsung galaxy S II for months and upto today I cannot remove Haptic feedback ?? !!!! when i type sms or anything which has to do with input of keyboard als when I unlock screen it vibrates..!!!
I unchecked all tick on setttings > sound still not working
flashed latest nightly and did data wipe still not working
Nobody talks about it on the internet too ?? i dont want to flash any kernel to overcome this problem. Is there a solution to how this is done within the original cm9 rom ?

Firstly, you need to deselect vibrate on keypress in the keyboard settings. Not Settings.
Secondly, the unlock vibe is a bug and always has been. Live with it.

Doesn't fix the lockscreen vibe - the OP has posted in the CM9 thread too... same answers. He/she doesn't get it.
The KB haptic is the OP's misunderstanding of where the various settings are.

U mean lock screen there are mods to remove it

i found Alliance mod,it has more than 50 options including multiwindow,4 way reboot,and ink effect:

i m using imperium v25 ..i had problem in v25 so i reflashed it and work good ..But before flashing i enable a feature (i do not know from where should i enable it or is is wanam xposed)through which i can use any app(games,album,gallery etc )while receving call(do not attending the phone).
Any one know about this feature..if so how to enable it ..????

I'm not sure about your rom but the rom im currently using (temasek's cm11) has that feature in the phone app settings, maybe look for it there or maybe it was removed from your rom on one of the updates and in that case change your rom if you wanna keep the feature
It's called incoming call in background
i think it was imported from slimrom if i remember correctly maybe ask for it on your rom's thread

i found this feature in call setting ...lol first i thought it was any module of xposed..and i found other app :-CALL POPOUT ..any way thanks..

Not sure exactly for AOSP rom but you can explorer the dialer settings.

Yeah - Dialer settings->Additional->Check/uncheck Vibrate on answer/Vibrate on hang up options
