Look for my post for STOCK ROM.
Flash that ROM S124. Then update your Android OS till S221. or whatever you want.

Your tutorial was only for 4GB versions I think? I didn't manage to read all the pages of comments, but the first 3 that I read said that they had troubes with signal upon doing your tutorial, I really don't want that because I really use this phone for communications. Isn't there a way for 8GB?

I dont think it will be a problem. For 8GB and for 4GB the steps are the same.

Hi. Bad signal is from modem software. Look in my post How About Some Modems and take from there whatever modem you want and test.
The phone must be rooted.

Follow the correct procedure and you'll be ablke to downgrade, installing a ROM backup is not going to help you in any way.
There are not many memebers with this problem, and those who do are following the wrong procedure or not following the steps correctly. I have not yet seen a single case where people were not able to downgrade where it was not caused by user error.

I'm not really sure what just happened here. Lol.
This is first time I'm NAND flashing my Rhodium 500. I'm using the method given in xda-developers.
But its stuck at the third step. I can't get past "Loading . . ." when flashing RHODIMG.NBH from SD-card.
I also tried task-29. But can't get further than 0%.
Someone please help. . .

That is because this is the advanced section. Most threads are marked testing, and it is assumed that you have the most basic universal flashing experience already.
This issue has already been covered in many other threads also.

You should not be using a file caled image.nbh.

Maybe explain what you're flashing? What ROM? Are you security unlocked (HSPL?)
Have you gotten to fastboot yet? Blue screen?
Keep in mind, NAND is a difficult process - not something to be taken lightly... Read the steps CAREFULLY and make sure you are doing them all correctly!
Here's a good step-by-step guide.

I read The thread carefully but he did not mention RHOD500 inside he only mention RHOD400.
My RHOD500 is Security Unlocked and can load any rom
So is my RHOD500 not supported by this Rom ?

RHOD400 and 500 are pretty much identical RHOD's...
And what he says is he only has a RHOD400. So he can only test the ROM on a RHOD400...
It is fine.
i am a beginner and dont know how to lnstall a root, flash and install a custom rom. i dont even know what is custom recovery and boot image. can any one please help me out with detailed step by step video on how to do this process please ?? i am using htc desire x

If you really cant follow the steps in the tutorial i gave you, you probably should NOT try to root as well coz you might end up messing something up. Just an advice.

Hi I flkashed the latest Archidriod rom today and once it was done I couldnt get a signal. I have tried nearly 10 different roms to try and rectify this and no such luck
I didnt a search and it said something about this patch apk which a ran and still no luck.
Really need some help quick as I have to go out soon and have no signal.....

Hope you have a backed up EFS .
Note the service repair can be the simple way for those that do not understand EFS .
