I have followed all the instructions for rooting my galaxy y gt s6102......
But please tell me that the "update.zip" file must be kept in sd card in zip form or in extracted form..........
Also , is there any risk in rooting???

well, i was trying to port but with no success. the main thing that we need for building proper clockworkmod recovery is to 'extract' recovery.img , That file is actually a backup for stock recovery, and then we can do something. But big problem is with extracting because recovery partitions are not detectable for which needed terminal comands /proc/mtd and /proc/emmc does not exist so we have problem.

I googled my S5303 for rooting or flashing a custom recovery, it seems that there is not such things for this device yet.
Is there a VERY high risk in flashing pocket duos S5302 rom or root files by odin for pocket duos S5303?

Firstly you download phone's software from sammobile if there is . After that most probably type of file is zip you send file to sdcard and put the phone then open phone with recovery screen you press ( apply update from sdcard ) ı hope that it will be successful if i helped to you ı am happy ?
