Optimus F3 Bricked Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
I have optimus f3 rooted with jelly bean (lg official) and i think it just died.
The symptoms:
phone can't charging
Power on button has no effect at all (when I connect it to the computer, it shows the LED lights GREEN and RED.)
While connected to PC, the hardware manager shows the "qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008"
he does not go into recovery mode or dowload
This happened after we install rom
it is a processor MSM8930 (but in build.prop shows MSM8960)
lsusb returns:

someone? :crying:
Actually you are in trouble. There are only factory programs that are able to flash this phone and they are not avail to download.
Use JTAG, it's the only option for now.

[Q] CDC ACM device
Hello everybody, please my question is very simple. Can I use CDC device (USB-SPI converter by Microchip) with GT7500? The device uses CDC ACM drviers. When I plug in to my computer I see ttyACM0 is created in /dev/ folder. If I connect device to GT7500 throw USB Adapter dmesg inform me about Device not supported (dmesg short report in bellow). But if I look to .config i see is CDC ACM driver is inculded. If plug device to my second tabled WM8650 everything is OK. /dev/ttyACM0 is created and accessed from app. Thanks for any answer. Hi, I own a Toshiba AC100-10D italian 16GB version. I bought a USB-Ethernet adapter 42974 from Lindy to connect my device to a wired LAN through ethernet. The ROM I'm using is the CyanogenMod version I installed following the guide in tabletroms.com. [Q] Modem resetting?
I am having a similar issue as discussed in this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2080956&page=3. I'm stock rooted, software version E97010o. Does anyone else still experience this problem? Sometimes it happens with the phone sitting on my desk or when I'm traveling. I initially thought it was a poor hand off from "4G" and LTE, but I can seem to trigger it repeatedly when using Google Maps and having it try to lock on my position using GPS. Looking at the log, it says the modem is resetting but it's not giving a reason why. I copied the log while it was happening repeatedly. U8 Smart Watch Clone / dead
MT6261DA Mediatek ARM Hi My watch is completely dead now. I tried all stuff I have found online, even shorting out the battery. It does not turn on any more since I tried to flash it new firmware. ( black screen, no signs of life, except device shows up for a few seconds ). Circumstances: I had troubles to install the USB driver, and did not see that the flash tool started to download stuff, was not sure its downloading the new firmware from online or it actually flashing in to the watch. So I disconnected USB while downloading by mistake. I think the bootloader is broken. Windows -> says unknown device, Linux -> the USB port /dev/ttyUSB0 shows up only for a few seconds, than it disappears, so can't really try to flash it again or debug it somehow. So what else I can do ?, I can imagine there will be some method to flash it without USB, but cannot find any information. Any ideas ? Thx Edit: this is dmesg output [25434.280860] usb 1-1.2: new full-speed USB device number 27 using ehci-pci [25434.373664] usb 1-1.2: New USB device found, idVendor=0e8d, idProduct=0003 [25434.373670] usb 1-1.2: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=0, SerialNumber=0 [25434.374727] option 1-1.2:1.0: GSM modem (1-port) converter detected [25434.374895] usb 1-1.2: GSM modem (1-port) converter now attached to ttyUSB0 [25434.375278] cdc_acm: probe of 1-1.2:1.1 failed with error -16 [25437.153120] usb 1-1.2: USB disconnect, device number 27 [25437.153216] option1 ttyUSB0: usb_wwan_indat_callback: resubmit read urb failed. Yeah you fried it so to speak. Best bet is to buy a new one or send it back to where you got it and hope it is covered by warranty
Question N200 usb connection loop when in 'fastbootd' mode
I can connect to the phone no problem in fastboot mode, but in fastbootd mode I can see it constantly connecting and disconnecting in dmesg. The bahvior is the same on the mint laptop. It's an HP 11th gen intel, my main is a 7th gen. Totally different chipsets, that's why I mention it. Probably a similar driver, but I cant think why that would matter. Mint isnt doing anything special with USB, so I assume the OS really isnt to blame. :/
