Hi all,
I have followed this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1837273
everything went good, I have successfully install kernel and CM10. I started phone without sim, wifi is okey and everything is perfect. But when I start phone with SIM card, enter pin, than nothing happens. I have tryed to manualy select carier, but phone just gave me pop up, that is unable to register within my carrier. Does anyone has same error? Could someone help me?

Yes, I have unlocked bootloader, according to guide which is in kernel thread...
I think I will try to lock bootloader, load stock kerner and stock rom and try it again ...

first go back to stock kernel and rom and then relock the bootloader.. not the other way around. You'll run into all sorts of trouble if you lock the bootloader while on a custom kernel.

Do a repair with SEUS ( or SUS, since Ericsson no longer takes part ) or PC Companion, and then relock the bootloader using the Repair-button in S1Tool.

Doubt it. DRM keys were wiped out during initial unlock, as I understand it.

Yesterday I re-locked the bootloader using this process, everything went fine, I have a locked bootloader now. Today I am trying to unlock it again following the Sony procedure. Everything goes fine and I get the OK confirmation in fastboot, after that the phone will enter in an endless reboot loop.
Am I doing something wrong?, is there a way to get out of the boot loop?, or I should follow different process to unlock the bootloader now?, thanks

wish I could help ya, I can't even get flashtool to recognize the Xperia ZU -- which drivers did you use? I don't see the ZU listed as supported in the drivers section ...
as for your problem -- did you use the same key Sony email'ed you the first time or asked the website to generate a new one? As I understand it, the first unlock also deleted the DRM keys .. not sure if that was used somehow to calculate the KEY it generated (kinda like a hash check?) shrugs -- I know that Re-locking your bootloader did NOT restore those keys ... not unless you backed it all up first with that backup app that's on the dev section.
G'luck --

Disable usb debugging and Flashtool will recognise ur device (pc compainian must be installed)
And u mean do TA restore before again unlocking boot loader? So unlock, lock and again unlock (with Sony method) will brick device?
Is there a way to unlock with Flashtool?

Well I am a bit confused as to what you are asking and why ----
You mention a TA restore --- that would imply you did a TA BACKUP *before* unlocking bootloader --- correct?
If that is the case, why did you RE-lock the bootloader with the procedure in this thread .. you could/should have just done TA Restore. The procedure here is just for us saps who unlocked the BL via Sony method.
Now .. having said that ... I *believe* that you can still do a TA Restore (if you did a Backup obviously) -- and it should bring everything back to square 1 .. but since I never got to do it, I can't say I've tested this. Why not ask in that thread, the developer seems to have tested out a few diff scenarios successfully.
Cheers
Ahh you mean Ta restore will auto lock the boot loader.. that is what I understand..
Exactly I have Ta backup before unlock boot loader
Regards
P.s and then I can again unlook boot loader from Sony method using that first email keys...
Right?

Yes, exactly. If you have a TA Backup before unlock, you're good
And yes you should be able to unlock again with original keys.
One thing -- why would you even WANT to unlock the BL? rooting the phone has been achieved now without unlocking the bootloader -- there's no advantage to unlocking it now.
cheers!

DRM keys lost, only way is to have done a TA backup before unlock. If you didn't you loosed it, only can hope devs find a way to get it back without the DRM keys.

You can use flashtool (not emma) to bootloader unlock
Flashtool.net is the place to get flashtool from, you may need drivers Fastboot Flashmode Z2 dev drivers
I think you dont need in newerversions
Im not sure
@DinarQ8 yeah mate that means you can unlock the bootloader
@Envious_Data Do you still need to get unlock key though sony's developer site to unlock with FlashTool? Also what is the best & easiest way to root the phone? I'm used to galaxy devices so sony unlock & root is new to me.

Yes, flashtool does the normal terminal stuff for you
You still have to get IEME and unlock code
It will give instructions
Cheers, does Flashtool also easily root it or do you need a custom kernel for root to work?
Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I do things right & don't end up with a sexy brick :fingers-crossed:

You can use Flashtool to root, but not via its root function. Put the phone in fastboot mode and flash Doomlord's CWM+kernel package (I installed v.02 since my phone is on firmware .55) in Flashtool (using the fastboot option that pops up when you click the lightning button). Then reboot into CWM recovery and flash SuperSU. Then reboot into the system and install busybox into /xbin. You should be good then.
So if it says bootloader unlock is not allowed does that mean there is no possible way to unlock it and root the device?

Relocked and Camera NOT Working... - Unlock, and it works.
Hi everyone, i have unlocked my Xperia X f5122 34.0.A.2.292 bootloader (Sadly)
after unlocking i noticed some functions like X-Reality not working anymore on my device...
i wanted to relock it again using flashtool, and i did it easily
but after relock camera will not work (camera app hangs when i press button or touch) - third party apps not working too.
when i unlock it again, i get camera working...
is there any way to relock bootloader and make camera work like when device is unlocked?
(sorry for bad english)

Problably not, you've unlocked your bootloader so your TA-partition is whiped meaning you lost your DRM keys. You can not get them back anymore. So without a kernel with DRM-fix you wont get functions like x-reality back. So just keep your bootloader unlocked and use a custom kernel with DRM-fix and you'll be fine.

you can block the bootlader now in android 8 and the camera is work
Hello: Someone can tell me if after opening it, the booloader can be blocked again. I have the DRM keys. I tried to do it by Flash Tool, but when I turn on the phone it always asks me for the android key and I do not know what it is.
Thank you.
I answer: Easy with oreo. An ftf of oreo is installed by flashtool and the mobile starts, we accept debug usb and developer mode. The mobile is turned off and reconnected to flashtool, given to the blu and relock option. When finished, disconnect the mobile and turn it on. Ask for Android key, well, it turns off and connects to xperia companion. The repair firmware option is given and the instructions are followed and when finished we have repaired oreo and the bootloader as before unlocking it.
Kisses, applause and thanks to all those who have helped me with the comments.
i try the version of Magisk 23.0 but this is not worked.
It's the same with all other Xperia devices without customise recovery.
You first use Unsin (can find it in XDA) to the boot_blahblahblah.sin from stock firmware for unsin it. Therefore you will see a .IMG is generated.
Second, you transfer the .IMG to your phone, and use Magisk to patch (install - select file and patch) the boot file.
After it's patched (you can find it in the Download folder). Transfer the patched one back to your PC, and make phone enter fastboot mode (or the blue light mode). Then you run this command on Windows Shell (Google it, it's easy)
Fastboot flash boot the_file_name.img
After it's done, boot into your phone, you can find icon of Magisk, install it, and your phone is rooted in this stage.
Nevermind figured it out
