I know there are loads of threads about this but they are no help for me sence i cant apparently install any apps either. It just gives me an error saying somthing like this "storage space is full" but it is not because i have an empty sd card in the slot. I am running 4.1 kitkat if i remember correctly.

Tried both and didnt work. Im not sure because android insist there is no storage at all... but obviously there is because android is on this device.
Ok.... dunno why but i can install the twitch app just fine... but everytime i restart the device it still goes trough the first time setup and such. Anyone got anything? Btw i think i said the wrong version. Its 4.1.1 jellybean.
Try reflashing the software yourself If you are rooted. Best bet.
or else try giving customer service a visit they might helf also.

Oh I see... This is an "unlock tool" for Angry Birds... Hmmm... I just looked on the Play Store and it says that you dont need root for this app to work so I dont think thats it.
It DOES say that you must complete at least 1 level of the game for the tool to work however... Have you completed at least one level?
yes i copmpleted half game but it must be phone's problem becouse every time is says EACCES Permission denied problem

What other apps is this error happening with? Can you provide a list or give some other examples? Also... Have you googled the error exactly and seen if there may be a hint or an answer there as to what that error specifically means?

Hmmmm... Ok... I think I may know why this is not working. By the looks of it, that unlock app (and others like it) needs to access the external SD card to store data and unfortunately... The SGSIII has no native access to the external SD card (cant move apps or game data etc to the external card) so it is failing. I MAY be wrong but I have a sneaky suspicion thats why this is happening to you either that OR perhaps rovio has blocked these apps from unlocking the levels in their games...
---------- Post added at 02:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:49 PM ----------
Yup... The more I read that link you gave me the more I am seeing that this issue has to do with needing to be able to write info to the external SD card and again... natively we CANNOT do do on the SGSIII.
i think thats problem too do you know how could i solve that by removing sd card or reinstlling apps? .....or wipe*'?

There are some posts here in the forum that give you a tutorial on how to switch the external and internal cards thereby allowing you access to the card but other than doing something like that you may be out of luck. Search here in the Q and A thread and you will find them. Read and try is the best answer I can give you my friend...
So, I've searched all of the web for a solution to this but nothing works
yesterday when i went into my gallery, it suddenly says i have no files.
google music says i have no music.
when i take new pics they show up as if the device was empty before.
ive checked in the file manager and all files are still there, just undetected.
ive tried a bunch of rescan sd card apps but they all crash when i open them.
im using an LG G2 running 4.4.2 Stock, not rooted, not anything. havent tempered with anything.
please help this is driving me crazy, thanks in advance.

the issue is that after flashing different kernel i am unable to switch from Dalvik to ART...i need a stock kernel so i can flash it and use ART.
Hope that helps!
I am also having few problems with these stock ROMs.
Icons on the lock screen are misplaced (little to the left).
Can't completely remove notification sounds (make them silent).
The AT&T and HTC images at the bootscreen are smaller (there is a big black frame).
I will post pictures when I get back home from work.
sorry guys if i bothered you with my stupid questions but i found the problem that was preventing me from switching Dalvik to ART. it was xposed framework that caused the issue and after i uninstalled the framework i was able to switch to ART thanks for your help anyway

In case you didn't fix that:
The AT&T Desire 610 has a 480*854 screen. If you are running an AT&T rom on an international Desire 610 you may have this problem.

Thank you very much for your answer.
I didn't knew that.
wheres the rom? On the DL page, there is nothing but a list of devices, none of which seem to be htc, much less 610.
Ok, figured that out... My trouble is, I cant seem to get root working! I installed rooted rom, even the kernal that goes with it, but still can not remove apps from att. Thats kinda my whole goal, but not having much luck getting it going. Any ideas what Im doing wrong??

OK, Ive missed something.. I can even remove files from the rom, and they are stll there... I guess I've messed something up, or missed something completely. No matter what I do, I can not remove a system app, even if I remove it from the rom and flash it back to the phone...

If you're using the at&t 610, flash the Rom and kernel. Go to the play store after signing into your Google account.
Download the kitkat sd card fix and titanium backup.
Make sure you have the latest busybox and root binaries before hand.
Use the sd card fix app, restart your phone. Once it turns back on, wait a solid minute as it runs the start up. Now go into titanium back up and start deleting apps.
That should do it.
If not, follow up with deleting the app and it's associated .apk in your system/apps folder.

My guess is you're S-on, the phone won't allow you to write or modify the system files. Honestly you're not truly rooted unless you're s-off. Where did you find the download? I don't see our phone in the list either

Just got a new dell venue 8 with 4.4.2 on it. I also bought a 64gb micro sd card for it. Having a issue getting anything to move to it. I am new to android and the reason I got the tablet is for the sd card expansion which I now not able to use. Is there something I am missing or is this locked. Seems odd to have this expansion sd if you can't access it easily.
Thanks for your help on this one.

Yes it shows up there but when I try to move anything I get a error file permission not able to write. I did format the sd card a couple of times in the venues settings thinking maybe that was the issue. It shows up there too but all i can do is format it. So not sure why that write error comes up no matter what i try to move to it.

Not sure what happened I started up the tablet and there was a ton of updates from Dell so I did those and now i can access the sd card and move stuff to it. Not sure what was in all the updates one was a firmware update but seems they corrected the issue and I don't have to go and root the device for this function. Odd how that worked out but thanks for all the help. I will in time more than likely root the device but until I get better with this OS I will be happy I can just move stuff over to the sd card.

I think now I can Root. Because my phone now have another rom . I got this new rom from official Jio Care . I went there because I bricked my device when tried to flash a recovery found from the internet. I tried this flashing because the 'factory test mode' was gone after I tried to root with king root .it was showing a 'no command' error when I am trying to go to 'factory test mode' I did that flashing only to restore that. But it ended in a bricked device. So I had to go there and they helped me. I also asked them for stock rom but they didn't give me. I didn't check king root yet with this rom. The current rom i have is same as yours. Ls 4006.
But I don't clearly think which I had before. I guess that was Ls 4007.

So have you uninstalled all those bloatwares from your phone .?
If you did so , you had any problems because of the so-called system app removal?.
I'm asking this because I used to disable all those useless system apps , but as a result this phone was restarting frequently without my knowledge. So I did suspect this app disabling and so I restored all these disableed apps. And then the problem solved. You had any issues like this,?
Now I heard about an bloatware removal tool and I wish to try that to get a rid of this bloatwares.
What you say?

I'm a little worried because I don't have any stock rom backup so if something went wrong like something I mentioned in the above post , I have to go again the LYF Care . So you please just check whether all those apps mentioned above are removed or not.
If you still have any apps mentioned above just take it's backup apk using SD Maid and uninstall those apps. So that you can check whether any system instability arises due to the uninstallation.
Please check right now and tell me. I'm waiting for your reply.

You would probably be doing so for freeing up some system space.I will suggest you to update app to system(apps like play store, play services and some other useful system apps keep the original system stock app even if you update the application). So you should integrate update to system which will remove the old system app by updated one so you will have much more free space and whenever you factory reset your device ,you will get the updated system apps installed.

I have downloaded those files you have uploaded. I have a few questions about it.
Did you ever tried to flash it to phones other than yours. ?
If you have done it, did you flash it using just fastboot or used any other special software?
You have also provided a twrp recovery. But that recovery doesn't have boot.img and system.img missing. That doesn't seems okay . Are you sure about it ? Please check it.
How did you root your device?
I been trying Kingroot for a while but it's not working for me.
My build number is LYF_LS_01_12
I am also planning to build a custom ROM based on the stock ROM because in the latest update, they made the icons look really ugly . Also it will be a practice for me learn custom ROMing.
But before I proceed, your suggestions would be helpful for me.
So please make some time to answer those questions above.
Once again thank you very much for your effort to upload those files with that slow connection.
Very thank full to you

Not flashable ????
I'm no developer yet but I thought you are. I was so happy when I see those files. It's sad when you says not flashable.
But okay , I am learning about flashing and custom ROMing and I will do my level best to help you guys.
I will be soon starting a new thread with full details about those files given by you. Let's see what Devs here talks about it. I really need to root and custom ROM it. Only problem is that I don't have any other phone for testing. I got only this one for all of my needs. I thought you already flashed it in your phone.
Anyway, thanks for your help and let's see what I can do.
Bye. See you .
