CM11 by percy_g2 is going to be official or not? It has latest M10 snapshot also. It has no bugs. What stops it from being Official?
Currently on unofficial ports...But can go official any time

Hi
I have an european Mote E (XT 1021)
Can a use percy´s Rom? What is [Condor] ? I gess an communication-provider or similar?
Do I have to expect any troubles if I use this ("Condor"-suited) Rom?

Condor is the dev code name for Moto E. Every device has a codename, for Eg: Samsung Galaxy Pop's codename is tass
Percy is currently working on a CAF based port..... As soon as he finishes work on that...... He'll go official...:good:

Hm, for me alliance didnt work. Maybe i will try again.
Have you read the announcement of the developer at the facelock download?
These are his words:
Information from the developer
-Files specifically to add FaceUnlock capabilities for package 20120201.
-All newer packages will automatically install these files and do not require additional downloads or installation.
-IN OTHER WORDS if you have a newer version than 20120201 you do NOT need this file.
So no need to flash facelock seperately. I have looked into the zip package and the files are there. So gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip is enough for facelock.

Omni is purely CAF based.
CM and "AOSP" roms based on it aren't actually based on AOSP. They are a hybrid of CAF with AOSP patches.

I just went through his kernel source. It looks like he's using the Moto E kernel source to build for bacon. It's pretty obvious why this doesn't boot.

Yeah that's because OnePlus had published the source code for one of the OOS which ran on android 6.0.1 on Github, mostly that of OPO or OPX am not sure. But the recent versions are not opened sourced at least not yet, so no one will be interested in developing a ROM based on android 6.0 when android 8.0 development is at full swing.

I am a sucker when it comes to AOSP and would love to have atleast one fully working AOSP ROM for my A205F. I have used LOS 16 GSI [UNOFFICIAL] in the past. Everything worked flawlessly on the ROM except that the fingerprint didn't have a gesture control to bring down the notification panel and there was no MTP support. I'd like to know if anyone is going to be cooking up a STABLE LOS ROM for our device?
Sorry I don't know either,

Everything was better with that GSI (Even thou is was unofficial bro) the fingerprint sensor even worked like x2 faster . You can't beat the speed of clean android. We won't be officially supported anytime soon bro , don't count on it. Someone will have to bake a unofficial custom rom for us.

When I enquired on some problems on the LineageOS Telegram group they said that they didn't have an official GSI out
Yes it's an unofficial gsi made by some guy named Andy, it's not theirs, so they can't provide support.. and as you know problems are meant to happen for a gsi..
Unfortunately A20 don't have enough custom roms available for us to choose from, like Lineage os, paranoid android, Resurrection remix rom, or some pure aosp roms..
