Hi everyone, i've a Gear Fit and a LG L9II with Gear Fit Manager and Gear Fit Fitness apk, all works perfectly except the alarm clock that works only on the mobile phone and not on gear fit (I've already activated notifications from Clock on gear fit manager settings).
Can anyone help me?
The alarm function only works on Samsung devices. There is no work around yet AFAIK

Ok, just today I tried to add an event to my google calendar with the same wake-up time that I need, the notification reaches the gear fit , is there a way to extend the calendar notification time as if it is an alarm clock ?

you can set the event to recur every day, so it will work like an alarm.

on the original android lockscreen (i.e. nexus one), it used to show if there is an alarm or not, and if there is, it used to say when, day and time.
is there any way i can have it also say that on the samsung lockscreen somewhere next to where it displays the time?
i like this feature because sometimes i get paranoid about what time i have set my alarm for the next day

Standard lockscreen won't do this but you can buy widget locker from the market and that'll replicate the stock android lockscreen with alarm info

I am looking for a way how to set event in calendar as alarm, so it would be continously ringing until I turn it off, just like alarm clock.
I have found similar topic, but no solution.

There's an app called Alarm Calendar Plus by Moyou that might be what you're looking for. I just downloaded it today on my Xperia, so we'll see how well it works!

I'm looking for an alarm app (either new or existing) that has wear support...maybe someone who is better versed can add wear support to KK alarm clock and put it up? Related is this bug report that has been marked 'WillNotFix": In a perfect world the app would also be able to be launched on the watch and alarms can be set from watch that are set on the phones main app....but at the very least I'd like to be able to dismiss alarms from watch (I'm imagining a screen like the one when you get a call, that would be awesome).
I'm not sure how much of this is possible, but at the very least, is anyone interesting in extending KK alarm app to include wear notifications for dismissing alarm while ringing?

I know this is an old post and hopefully you've found a solution. If not, check out Alarm for Android Wear:

It does NOT use the built in alarms your phone, instead setting up new alarms. But you can set alarms on either watch or phone, and they will go off on either watch or phone, or both.

I'm a new owner of Gear S previous I was a Gear Fit user.
I use this wearable with a Galaxy K zoom with installed Business Calendar PRO 2 because it is the only App (among the ones I tested) which provides for the automatic snooze of notifications for appointments.
When I used the Gear Fit, all the times that I losing a notification for an appointment, and it was resumed automatically after (for example) two minutes, on the wearable was repeated the warning.
I thought the Gear S worked in the same way... Could you confirm me that this a problem of this wearable?

I use CalenGoo it has a snooze feature. Automatically or with select snooze option.
Or on standalone app I have also CER (Calendar Event Reminder) or Calendar Snooze wich provide Snooze feature for Calendar events
Is anyone having any issues with third party clock and alarm apps? I set my alarm and it does not ring at all despite having all sound and notifications settings correct. The default clock and alarm app work fine but I would really like to wake up to a song/music I choose.
Any possible fix/solutions?

I just got an p9000 and have the same problem .. I´ve tried to add the app (tried a few, used to run Gentle Alarm) to the white list, but it makes no difference ...
I even tried to use the Gentle Alarm "night display" to keep the display on, but still no alarm ...
(would´nt be a problem, unless all the stock alarm sounds are so hideous)
Any ideas?
edit: clicked on the "lamp" button in Gentle Alarm, that says "keep display on", and the night display, that worked! Kind of annoying to have the screen on through the night, but I did wake up to my favorite song!
