Now till i'm waiting for new apktool, smali, baksmali etc that i can continue work on honeycomb...
i have decided to make one fully working rom for X10 based on CM7 2.3.4. But i have stuck on some parts becouse i'm trying to make rom in LEGO style. This from one rom that from other rom, etc..
So i need parts from your roms.. and it seems like that fight is about to break out. So i decided to ask in public "Can't i use parts of your roms?"
if you like i can call rom with your names like "J&Z with Wolfbreak on bad TRIP" or somelike that still in progress.

+1 if a new dev starting to work on x10 this is a progress and if no one sharing or say "this is my file dont us it " we will never progress, sharing is the way to have at final a fully compleat custom rom for x10

This thread looks more like making fun of one particular DEV than asking for help.... You could have PM the DEV rather than creating a thread in development section..

just wondering if there is anyone out there who is prepared to make me a custom rom the way i like it.
there are so many things for the sgs2 but so many roms are over done with the same colour or they have that nasty overscroll glow
i liked the black theme someone made but his requirments meant i had to have certain things to make it work, things i didnt want
to give you an idea, im a fan of stock look. im also a big fan of black and white themes
so if there is someone willing to give it ago please let me know and i'll donate a few $$

I don't mean to be rude, but you're clearly a newbie here.
You simply don't ask devs to make custom ROMS according to your personal preferences. You can learn to do it yourself, or use one of the many available and awesome custom ROMS.
It takes much much effort to create and test a custom ROM.
Another point, if you did not create "it" then it does not belong in "Android Development" but in General or Q&A.

i guess being a 30yo man with a 6month old to take care of i dont have the time to sit down and make roms. i have tried nearly every rom and theme and i dont like them. back when i had a sgs1 a guy posted he would make custom roms for ppl, figured someone here mite do the same. if its too much effort, dont make me one, simple
ppl add too much stuff that is useless to me and looks unatractive and makes the ui look like a preschool child drew it
things ppl add that i dislike
overscroll glow
battery percentage (i use fancy widgets, it has battery percentage)
changing the wifi and 3g/H to green. i prefer white on all of them
i dislike transparency on menus. makes it hard to read the menu
i like having customisable ext menu
i dont like making all the menu items one colour, stock colours are fine
id like a aosp style lock menu, or at least change the message colour from orange to blue
crt off would be nice as long as its working properly
so as you can see there is no other rom out there like that
i offered to pay so its not like im being a cheap skate expecting someone to stop everything they are doing just for me

I don't think your wishes are irrelevant but they may be a little unrealistic - poll 100 people in here and they'd all want something slightly different from their ROM. So building a ROM may be unrealistic given the other demands on your time, but learning a bit of theming - which is what most of your wishlist seems to be about - isn't and may be your way forward. You may even get a more positive response to your enquiry on the Themes forum.
You are getting the negative vibes because your post is clearly posted in the wrong place - this is not the place for questions of this type, as clearly stated in several places.

Find a ROM you like that's the closest to what you want. Then you could theme it using Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen. Hope that helps.

If you don't have then use the ROMs here or don't buy a phone your not happy with. Nobody will want to make a ROM for you. No time that is your problem. I am a noob too but I read the rules.
I guess you can wait for the public rom kitchen once available ( you proly dont need to wait much longer )
After that you should be able to learn just a few things about themeing or some1 will probably make a black white theme.
I understand that it may be easy for some1 experienced to make exactly the rom you want but i don't believe some1 will bother , having to deal with updates/bugs e.t.c.
Rom kitchen and a few themeing abilities is the most realistic approach as i see it

Well someone out there was kind enough to make me one and is helping with updates. I had a look at what was involved in making one and I just don't understand everything. I look forward to the kitchen release coz ive used it with my sgs and it was great. Thanks to the ppl who actually helped

i did buy the phone im happy with

This is not the case at all as far as I know. They work hard at it and shouldn't feel to always leaving updates as that is useless unless something significant needs to be realeased. I know Rebellos just got his nt, but has lots of exams coming up. Patience is a virtue in development. I feel there is something big coming and that it will great. To all the developers......Keep up the good work.

Don't forget about kernel development without that devs can't really advance , and we still have to see what rebellos can do for us. Just be patient people. Most of us have a life out of XDA and priorities.

Pretty much this. If you look through the threads in development, you will see that 1. the devs state that they are busy outside of development and are looking for new devs and 2. are nonetheless active and post fairly frequently.

You know all of your "no pressure" stuff and the like breaks one of the cardinal rules of any forum like this... Don't bug the devs. They get stuff when they get it, until then either buy a tablet that does what you want stock or leave it be.
I was a dev once a long, long time ago long before Android and iPhones when SMSing was being invented. While these guys are far above my calibur I can tell you, your post would have pissed me off.
may we please go go back to the question ? as i understand it the ics has removed the otg stuff. but then that does not matter because we are cooking up cm9 which has the gingerbread flavour of an otg ? yes ?

[off topic ! ] and i was programming with the borland compilers ( turbo pascal and c ) in 1980. at the time i was also using the 'forth' language on the 1802 ( cmos ) doing spa ( shelf price audit and such ). and i doing assembly language programming ( and still can... ) with a cross compiler - targeting an 8085 sbc ( single board computer ). That's funny. Around the same timeframe I punted my commodore 64 because I couldn't get a damned blue ball to bounce on the screen because my coding sucked. I'm no better now.

im not a developer but all ive heard all over the note 2 forums is how it is solely a touchwiz thing. so i would assume the other devices would need tw. assuming that, no one has been successful in this so far. its a neat concept, but i cant find any legitimate uses for it. ive tried texting while watching youtube videos etc... and the even with the note 2 big real estate, there isnt enough room to efficiently do 2 things at once.
and there cant be ported the whole touchwiz ported wit it to other device ? ive got nexus7, it is big enough, so i think it wil be useful.

Lol I'm really sorry I couldn't be of help. Just know that it isn't even working on the aosp roms for the phone's it was designed for. I'm guessing that'll come first, if ever. If you're rooted, check out cornerstone by onskreen. Its pretty much the same thing, and is in development now

Its about samsung s6 edge rooted phone and now i want to know how can to put the phone to record voice automaticaly when somebody talk around , when the phone "hear" some voices .. start recording and when the phone didn't hear -> stop the record . Its about samsung s6 edge rooted phone and now i want to know how can to put the phone to record voice automaticaly when somebody talk around , when the phone "hear" some voices .. start recording and when the phone didn't hear -> stop the record . Use Cerberus app. If you can't trust her then you shouldn't be in relationship. If you find no evidence and she finds the app she prob kick you ass. So better method would be just to ask her straight if she lies to you. Then just move on ain't worth it.
If you are at a point in your relationship that you are so untrusting you want to log and record her cell phone usage, maybe it's time you just ended the relationship. You might think finding nothing will make everything better, but you will just dig deeper and damage the relationship until she ends it.
I've been where you are, and I will tell you from experience that if you are here one of 2 things are happening. Either she is messing around and you should end the relationship or you are a bat**** crazy control freak who isn't mature enough to be in a relationship... so either way don't go through the trouble and just break it off.

On a personal note. Of you are using something like this. It is already over and can't be repaired and even if she/he isn't doing anything wrong the min they find out it is completely over and they will most likely never speak to you again and that is if they don't press charges.

This is a developers site. Made for and by developers. Not for people looking to buck the legal system.
Again read the rules. You know. The one that says not to ask for anything illegal? If reading english is an issue there are plenty of translator apps.
