[Q] Unfortunately SetupWizard has stopped (Alcatel OT 995) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
I have an Alcatel OT 995 phone.. I upgraded it to ICS.. after several months I did a factory reset
After the reset I turned my phone on and it showed language - keyboard - sync settings and then asked me if I wanted to sign in my google account.. Whatever I do (sign in or skip or create a new one) it says "Unfortunately SetupWizard has stopped"
when I tap OK same settings show up again from the beginning (language - keyboard - sync - google account - the erroe message) and it does the same all over again.
I've tried hard reset (Power + Volume UP) but it just shows this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/images/b/b4/Android_out_of_the_Box.jpg
without giving me any options like wipe data etc..
after a while it shows alcatel logo and then settings screen
I don't know what to do.. I can not escape the settings, I can not do anything with my phone
and hard reset doesn't give me the options it should..
Any idea please?

[Q] [HELP NEEDED] Process Status Bar not working

Today I wanted to get the CRT animation on my lockscreen that is in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1064037
After pushing it with adb and rebooted my phone this message popped up:
The application %1$s (process %2$s) has stopped working The process Status Bar has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
I got very frustrated and hoped that a factory reset would help but it doesnt. This message pops up like every 5 second and the "samsung login" sound and animation plays all the time. Seems like I've ****ed it up pretty badly. Is there a way to completely wipe everything on the phone and get it back like it was when I got it first?
(After the factory reset I belive that USB-debugging is turned off (as it is by default) and I can't manage to turn it on)

[Q] com.setupwizard fails on zte amigo

Please Help!!!! I performed a factory reset on my ZTE Amigo and during the installation process, I received the message com.setupwizard failed to respond with the force close button below. After this point, the phone did not complete installation process. As of this moment, I could not access the menu nor settings either. I can only receive calls and nothing more. Sometimes the booting process ends at the android logo. my PC does not recognize the device anymore. Is there a way to hard reset the device while its off since I can't access the settings?
Hi guys, I have the same problem, Please help!:crying:
How i solved mine
If booting ends on the android logo, please try to call your number from another phone and hand up. This might make your phone to finish booting . When your phone is on successfully, you need to install a launcher in other to be able to access your menu again. So you need a keyboard shortcut to access your settings and set up mobile data. After configuration, you need a keyboard shortcut to open your phone browser and download any launcher of your choice. Don't follow play store links. I will post keyboard shortcuts soon.

Hello, i got same device.
My problem: After factory reset i need my old accout to login, but i forgot it. The only way i guess to bypass it is flashing new firmware. Does anybody got the ROM for the Qilive Q6T7IN4G ?
Please help
Hi , You miss probably something , like instaling latest googleplay services manually for android 5.1 from apk mirror , if you had Enabled USB Debugging and Oem Unlocking you can flash googleplay.apk from the terminal .
example :
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7076240/install-an-apk-file-from-command-prompt
Also what you can try is instead of oppening with google you can type normal Internet browser and try from there to install latest googleplay services.apk or try to instal custom launcher like Go Launcher or Apex Launcher from sites which is not official from google play , and if you are able to instal launcher enable USB Debugging from settings and Oem unlocking after that do the Factory Reset and that should bypass the FRP protection.

Home button not working without Setup Wizard and gapps

Hello.
I'm using a Gionee Marathon M5 (mtk phone). There is no custom firmware for it and I'm trying to remove google apps and trackers from the official firmware. I need help with a problem.
If I remove gapps and reset the phone, Setup Wizard gets stuck and can't be finalized or simply crashes, depending on how much of the google apps and frameworks I remove. (Setup Wizard is the app that starts on first boot after a reset and help the user set up language, date, timezone, and google account.)
If I remove Setup Wizard too, the home button doesn't work. This includes the virtual home button on navigation bar. The button animation works (shows that it's activated) but nothing happens. Everything else works just fine, no crashes, just this annoying problem with the home button.
I checked that home button only becomes active after Setup Wizard is finished. Somehow this app makes it active. The button keeps working if I remove Setup Wizard, reboot, reboot even multiple times, but don't reset the phone. It stops working as soon as I reset the phone.
How do I remove Setup Wizard and keep the home button functional after a reset?
Or is there any alternative for Setup Wizard that works without gapps?
PS: There was no google account (or any other account) on the phone when I started. Factory Reset Protection should not be a problem here.
Thank you!
