Broke in-app purchase system for all apps. Need help - Greenify

So I cut off the wake up path for a few apps when they opened Google play store for inapp purchases.
I later realised this broke it for all apps and not just the apps I cut off the wake up path to. After doing this I can no longer access any kind of in app purchases in all apps.
I degreenified Google play store instead of reattaching the wake up path. That didn't fix it, I couldn't find Google play store in the hibernated apps or anywhere to reattach the paths.
I disabled the xposed module, uninstalled greenify and this still didn't fix it, none of the apps are able to open the in app purchase window.
I know this might be a strange problem but any help would be really appreciated since the only option I see now is to wipe/flash the Rom again.
Here's an example, not all apps show an error they just get stuck in the loading screen when accessing any in app option.

Example

Well, tried to reinstall greenify, doesn't work now, have the donation package installed, no network problem just the Same problem as all the other apps.

I think that the only option is to wipe and reinstall the ROM. I once had a similar issue where Play Store simply vanished and Google Play Services refused to function. I did a wipe and nandroid install which solved the issue. All other attempts failed.

Greenify should have re-attached all cut-off paths before de-greenify an app.
Try removing /data/system/packages.xml (backup first!) and reboot.

WARNING: To anyone coming here with a more recent version of Android (Android 11 in my case) -
DO NOT TRY TO DELETE /data/system/packages.xml
Will effectively reset the phone and remove ALL APPS on reboot!
DO NOT TRY TO RESTORE THE OLD PACKAGES.XML FILE EITHER! Everything including SystemUI will crash and you'll have no other option than factory reset!

Android force close loop (with phone access)?

Hello,
I have a problem with my samsung galaxy s2 GT-I9100
running android 2.3.5 stock version.
I'm normal user who used the phone for basic function like making phone calls and using the google, facebook apps with some installed apps from the play store.
Today, 2 hours ago logsprovider initiated out of nowhere an endless loop of "force close" alerts, between them most of the running apps were closed too (including some weird z7... app).
Because of the interval (about half a second) between alerts I can goto setting -> apps -> and "clear data" in the logsprovider config.
this stops the "force close" alerts loop untill the next restart of the phone. in this state I basically don't have access to the phone features and all the home screens are empty, including the phone's apps menu.
I can run any app by adding it to the home screen and then executing it, if the app has system operation like the play store that require it to install something, the app will crash and no new programs will install.
I can also connect the phone to a computer and get access to all the files (I think it's just those on storage), I might try to get an apk of an antivirus there and try to install it - hope it doesn't crash
These are desprate times... thats why I'm contacting the experts,
1. Can I fix this, this might have been caused by an app, what to do?
2. If the only solution is factory reset how do I backup the data, apps, or contact lists?

Greenify "went away" as did two apps it had hibernated, now I can't re-install them

Greenify "went away" as did two apps it had hibernated, now I can't re-install them
Hi,
I recently rooted my AT&T LGv30 and installed TWRP and Magisk 1.6. I then installed Xposed via Magisk Manager and played with it a bit. I went on to install Greenify donation and enabled all the beta and aggressive stuff, as well as Xposed integration. I later discovered that Xposed breaks SafetyNet checks so I decided to remove it. When I did, Greenify "went away". I had to re-install it. It was only later that I noticed 2 other apps were missing, namely Xmeye (a security camera app notorious for consuming battery) and Spotify (here I was just playing around, but Greenify said it was using battery, so...). These were the only two apps I had added to Greenify.
I then attempt to re-install both of these apps from the Google Play store. It goes through the process of downloading, then installing, but at the end of the installation process, the Google Play button simply reverts back to "Install", as if nothing happened. The same thing happens when I try again, on either app. I can install any other app just fine.
I've run the latest Xposed uninstaller zip from recovery, but this didn't help. I do have a vague recollection of Greenify continuing to run in root + Xposed mode after Xposed had been removed, if that makes any sense. Eventually, after a subsequent re-install of Greenify (not if before or after Xposed was removed), it then walked my through the setup again, and is now running only in root mode. Yet, the problem with the two apps remains.
I'm hoping someone has a suggestion before I wipe everything and start over.
Thanks,
Daniel
Following up on my own post. I ended up installing SD Maid, which was able to show me both Spotify and Xmeye as "stopped". From the app I selected to delete both applications, which I could not do anywhere else, as they didn't show up in normal apps. My guess is that Greenify with Xposed and therefore root caused some file ownership issue that the normal utilities were not able to handle.

Root cause likely resides elsewhere; Greenify doesn't mess with permissions.

Yet the two apps managed by Greenify stopped working. So you're saying correlation does not equal causation? Because the evidence here indicates otherwise. Just sayin'...

Correlation assumed but unproven. Greenify has been around a long time with a large user base. The situation you describe appears to be an outlier.

Is it by chance Google Assistant or just the Google App? Can you post a screenshot of the advertisement your seeing?
If in doubt try factory data resetting the phone. I would suggest this combined with an antivirus/malware scanner (at the very least the latter if you don't plan on factory resetting the phone). A factory data reset basically resets everything back to default and removes all your apps. Set your phone backup, install some sort of antimalware/antivirus app and then pay particular attention to what apps you install. If the issue happens again take note of what apps you installed last/recently (cuz they might be the cause).
Don't do factory reset, download Malwarebytes eecurity,u will get 1 month free, then choose "use deep scanner during full scan" from the settings,it will detect and kill the malware nd adware
Chack the apps with an "overlay permisson"
Got it fixed had running Malwarebytes and Samsung owns antivirus both got nothing, i cleaned Google cache, reset their app data, removed few apps and its gone thankfully, have no idea where it would come.
The picture attached is "Estonian language" but yeah it would close my apps and show the add when I click show recent apps shows "Google play services" and then it immediately deletes itself.

Factory Reset but delay app install

I am having problems with getting MS Intune and Outlook to work on my phone.
Doubt has been cast upon the flavour of Android that Oppo installs on its phones however recent software behaviour suggests that the issues I am experiencing relate to another app or other apps I use.
I'd like to do to a Factory Reset and then just install the basic apps but Google accounts, very helpfully, remember which apps you have and automatically install them after I log on to a "new" device.
Is there an easy way to stall the auto install of my apps whilst I test the phone with the very basics plus Intune and Outlook.

Upon factory reset, go into Play Store settings and select "Do not auto-update apps".
HIT THANKS IF FOUND USEFUL
I use a Backup and Restore app and keep all my Apps copied to my Sd card in the phone. There are several on the Playstore.
Then when I do a Factory reset I skip all the Auto setups and then install what I want as I go along. A few won't re-install this way but they can just be re-downloaded.
Also in the Playstore App you can click on the 3 bars> My apps&Games> Library and there's a lit of what you have used.

Phone became Unusable. Advice?

I have Oneplus n10 unlocked/global
With magisk 24.1
No rom(s)
Not sure what Magisk module caused this issue. My guess was MicroG-Gapps.
After a few reboots Oneplus launcher (and third party launchers) keep stopping
I keep getting XYZ keeps stopping (Weather, Google, Oneplus Account, Duo, Maps, Youtube, Google Fi,)
After a few mins of constantly tapping close app it seems that Malware-bytes keeps opening,.
I cannot load my icons/homescreen
I can sometimes get into settings via drop down notifcation bar and clicking on the gear icon.
I can get into apps and open a few apps from there.
As soon as malware-bytes starts opening itself it becomes a tug-of-war.
Say I get to open magisk malware-bytes auto opens every few sec and sometimes will stop for maybe 2mins.
I have to go back to Settings>apps>magisk>open and act quicky before malware-bytes opens again and takes me away from previous app.
I have TWRP 3.5.2_10-1_eduardoa3677 installed with a few backups pre crash. Backups do not repair this issue TWRP cannot load/access SDcard or OTG/USB
I have gone into filemanager (TWRP) and removed MicroG-Gapps obviously still everything is still crashing.
My guess is everything is just corrupt.
I was able to disable all Magisk Modules.
Any advice on restoring apps?
At this point I am leaning twords flashing DerpFestR Rom?
Edit: Reinstalled Microg-Gapps that has stopped the constant apps crashing. I cannot open anything that uses googleplay services / google. I might try to install Gapps From androidfilehost or maybe from a rom forum on XDA. hopefully that will reset google services?
