The easiest way to install cyanogenmod 10.2 is to use the cyanogenmod installer. If you want to learn the manual way, have a look at the cyanogenmod website.
Here is the link to the Cyanogenmod tutorial anyway (from the cyanogenmod website):

I don't know why you want 10.2 nightlies when you can just get the stable version at the cm downloads website.

I don't know why you want 10.2 nightlies when you can just get the stable version at the cm downloads website. (10.1.3) There was no 10.2 downloads because the maintainer of our device left and so we didn't get any updates (until Daniel came and give us cm11 updates.)

[Q] Paranoid Android porting

Hey! Recently Paranoid Android got it's awesome halo features and everything, and I wanted to try it out on my Xperia Neo V. But the problem is, there isn't alot of support for the Neo V for PA so I wanted to try porting it. I followed a few guides which only lead me on to a bootloop. Can someone help and teach me how to port? I tried porting PA 3.99 from the GS2 to the latest mike's CM10.2 build but I only get a bootloop. Also, I don't exactly know how to get logcats during a bootloop as ADB says my device is offline. Any help would be definitely appreciated. Thanks!

Tried that one too. Failed as well. :/ Latest PA you can port is v3.15? Why so? hmm. because i know 3.99 is 4.3, so i tried mike's latest cm10.2 nightly. how about 3.69? is that 4.3 or 4.2.2? And also i have followed that guide a gazillion times. still stuck on bootloop.

No, the reason i can only prot 3.15 is because the devices i port from also has to be a sony devices, with the same resolution, same processor. You cant port roms from devices like samsung or htc cause its not the same manufacture. The only devices that fit ths description was the xperia arc, which most recent build is v3.15
Give me a link to a cm10.1 build please

Also, they already have 3.15 for neo v, so the only way you could get a booting build is by building from source.

New CM

So... I see Jasp created a post with a CM 10.1 for our Grand Quattro. And as I see only one person have already tested it. Personally I will test it too. If anyone want to test it too, put your results here (I haven't 10 posts to post in development).

[Q] PAC-ROM 4.4.2 Stable?

Hey guys,
I'm using the PAC-ROM since 4.2 and switched to 4.4.2 lately because of some major issues I hat with 4.2.2
Currently, I'm on 04/03 nightly build, but there are some issues I've noticed, such as call records don't work, I cant take calls, renaming apss, and so on...
My question now is: is the pac_i9100-milestone.1.RC1.zip (140.9 MB 03.07.2014 01:08 am) which can be found in PACs basketbuild, is this a stable release version of 4.4.2? Or is it just a re-uploaded 4.2.2/4.3 milestone?
I'd be happy if someone could help me :cyclops:

i know that it is kitkat...but there are nightly builds and release/milestone builds, which are considered to be fully stable and working flawless
so i'm now at 04/03 nightly with a few bugs i dont like and i dont want to flash another nightly again, but a stable version to have a flawless ROM...
so, the question is not if it is kitkat, but if the version in the first post is a stable one or another nightly
\edit: i know the name says milestone, but i wanted to know if it's really stable... someone tested?

Please close [ROM][LMY47V][5.1.1][hammerhead][04.30.2015]CM 12.1 Unofficial Nightlies

New nightly unofficial builds of CM 12.1 for Nexus 5 (hammerhead). These are built straight from Cyanogenmod's repository at https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android/tree/cm-12.1. There are no modifications, or cherry picks from other related repositories. This is just a straight up, pure Cyanogenmod build for Nexus 5 hammerhead, NOT CAF, that I am privately building for my own use, and sharing with other users until the official builds start rolling out. I am not a developer. I am just a user who likes to flash a nightly update every day, if possible. For tutorials on how to install the rom or questions, I suggest using the OP in this excellent thread: [ROM] [LMY47I] [5.1] CM12.1 Unofficial w/ Xtra Cherries-Hammerhead Nexus 5 by mo976.
As far as answering questions, I may jump in from time to time, but I'll leave it mostly to those visiting the thread. Again, I merely made a place to share the cm rom I am just compiling from source.

thank you for the new build and hope it is not so slow like before
First of all, thanks! Second: what about MultiROM?
GPS question
First off, thank you to the OP. The consistent nightly builds are much appreciated!
Second, has anyone had issues with their GPS on cm12.1? Mine will lock on and be fine for a few minutes, then it loses GPS signal for a few minutes, then locks, then loses, repeat.
Wondering if it is just me or not...
have not noticed any issues with my GPS; don't know anything about multi-rom
hit the thanks button if you can rather than posting a thanks (it is appreciated, though )
Can anyone open the calculator? On 0416 and it just force closes. Going to try upgrading in a bit. Sorry about not asking in the dedicated thread. Didn't notice until after posting.

Looking for PAC-ROM KitKat download

New to xda, but a veteran to modding electronics. All I'm looking for is the final stable release of PAC-ROM KK, if anyone has a copy or a DL location. Or if there was never any development, inform me otherwise
I just can't seem to find it, even the 5.1.1 forum directs me to a server error screen when I try to download it...
5.1.1 is the only one you could have now; maybe 6.0 later.

Yeah I saw that, just waiting for PAC to come back online. I'm fully rooted now and good to go, but now I notice the links for TWRP are expired or offline as well... I suppose it would just be simpler if someone had all these elusive files sitting on their cloud storage and I could grab a copy... I would be happy to host them on my Google Drive upon request.

Got recovery_MT2L03_mmcblk0p19.img and TWRP_MT2-L03_RECOVERY_v2.img from the Gdrive. I also downloaded twrp-2.8.6.0-mt2l03.img from another link in a post. Any recommendations to which is better?
This is a link to the one I use when I flash Carbon and PAC when swapping between the two when they are updated and its never given me any problems, It was created by one of the contributors to CyanogenMod http://android.cmphys.com/twrp-mt2/ . Its also listed on the fist page of the CyanogenMod post. As for PAC the download page should be up and running tomorrow sometime.

Thank you, and this may seem like a rather noobish question, but one that I've never wondered before: is a custom flashed recovery required to install a custom rom like PAC? I'm only asking because of that minimal cosmetic flaw of the charging LED issue.

Yes, you do need to flash the previously referenced custom TWRP recovery in order to install PAC, CM or Carbon ROMs onto the HAM2.
Here are the releases hosted by Nigel if anyone else was looking for them. Thank you all for your help!
If anybody knows how to help with this rather serious problem, I would be most appreciative.
