Since I upgraded to NH5 I stopped getting some push notifications. I know CNN and Ebay have stopped. Most are working but some seem delayed. Had anyone else experienced this? I even tried a factory reset but no luck.

Has anyone had this issue? I've searched online and actually found that the issue goes back a year or two to older devices. There was no fix, the problem just seemed to fix itself after a while...
Basically, I can send gtalk messages, but I cannot receive them at all. I've tried installing/ reinstalling different versions as well as restoring a nandroid from when it was known to be working. I really don't have any idea. It hasn't been working for 4 days now...
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I got this issue today too, going on Wifi allows me to receive messages. It isn't really a fix because I'd like to use gtalk when away from home
I think it might be related to the LTE/IPv6 compatibility issues.
and? nothing to be done about this??
Hi Everyone,
I have switched over to the Galaxy S2 a little over a month ago. I moved from a Blackberry because of its own issues and having to reboot the phone etc.. but that is neither here nor there...
Before i updated the phone with ICS my Sms and Email notification sounds would work, all the time from what I remember. But now the phone sometimes plays the notification sounds and sometimes it doesnt. All my sounds are turned up full.
I am waiting on a loaner phone from my provider but until then I was hoping to fix it myself.
So today I did a factory reset and the phone did its thing. The notification sounds were working for the most part of the day and now I have a recieved a few texts and emails and the notification sounds didnt sound.
I have searched this problem and really have came up with nothing on this issue.
A few things i did notice though, after i did a factory reset on the phone that when it completed it still had the ICS op on the phone, shouldnt the factory reset have "re-formated" the phone and brought it down to gingerbread?
I apologize if this is lengthy but it is better to tell the issues and what I have done to try and rectify the issues incase some of the things that I have done is what would be suggested.
Thanks for any suggestions and help
Ok i figured out the problem... in the developer options i had selected kill processes after use. When i unchecked it the sound notifications for sms worked properly again.
Problem solved.

Hi All,
Had this happen 3 times today, never seen it before, I went into Samsung app store and unticked all the push notifs and got an error saying cannot connect to samsung (connectivity error)
Im hoping this fixes it, but when the error does come up, i get to click wait or ok to kill, once I hit ok, I get a backlog of notifications for fb, email etc etc
Hoping the above fixed it but has anyone heard or seen it?
Can anyone help please?
Since I've taken the OTA kit kat a few months back, hangouts has started reading all my text messages out loud. I don't have driving mode enabled and Talk back is turned off. Is there something I am missing short of factory reset? I reset the defaults for all the apps and that didn't fix the problem either. The guy in the verizon store was stumped too since they only train them to use the stock messaging app. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. It's getting pretty annoying.

You try just doing a factory reset in the stock recovery?
I've done the factory reset before and it's a really PITA to say the least but it's looking like I might have to go that route, was hoping someone would have a simple solution. Anywho.......
Is anyone else experiencing this? My voice-mail worked fine for the first couple days after flashing Lollipop, but today started crashing as soon as I open the app.
