No bro,i rooted, later flash kernel and after i build ultimate hd..
Do you know how to unistall custom rom without lose root and kernel?
restore is the only option I know
If you 1. have taken a backup and 2. have the kernel image<boot.img> you want on your device, then you can 1. flash a kernel with cwm<vengeance kernel for mt11i>, 2. restore the backup and 3. flash the required kernel<boot.img>.

HI,
I have an xperia sola and I want to install CWM in it. I have unlocked the bootloader and its on ICS stock and its rooted.
The problem is I heard you can't install CWM in SOLA unless you have a custom kernel installed. Is it true. Is there any way to install custom rom without having CWM

Just dwnld the 'Siyah kernel v4.1.5 or v5.0.1' (tar file for ODIN) and flash the same thro 'Odin' on ur pc.
It will automatically Root ur phone and install 'SuperSu' and latest CWM recovery for u.
then using the cwm recovery of siyah kernel u can flash any custom rom of ur choice.
after flashing the custom rom based on 4.1.2 u wont loose ur root
ps- once u install custom kernel like siyah ur phone will be safe from the 'Brick Bug' issue for sure
Flashed the Siyah Kernel.
About to flash custom rom
but got one finally question.
The custom rom; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1498017
Says it has philz kernel or whatever
so can i still flash it? and does it change my kernel?
Does it have a effect on me?

Yes, u can flash it and the Kernel (philz) that comes with that rom will replace ur Siyah kernel for sure but u wont loose ur root
it will not have any effect on u though
do follow the install instruction for a successfull flash of the rom.
Cheers!!
Thanks, it works!!

On what rom are you? Since you have unlocked flash a kernel which supports your rom.... Then you will get cwm... Then you can flash some font zip to try getting back your rom...or go back to stock with flashtool but you will lose your data this way...

i think you need to root your phone first, install cwm, then flash stock ICS ROM,after that then flash SlimCM rom.
what about kernel ?? do I need to install it in the end and what kernels work best with SlimCM ? won't I loose root when I flash stock ICS Rom ?

Use fast boot and flash sliding xu kernel. Actually I recommend transcendence kernel. Flash that, reboot into recovery, copy ROM zip to storage. Wipe data, cache, dalvik and system and then flash slim cm zip

Hey bro one tip: remember CWM mode is in kernel.you need to install a kernel to enter in CWM mode. If you have unlocked bootloader dont need install CWM app. Put on the search bar "how to install kernel"
Press thnks if I help to your mind.

look man :
You are on locked bootloader . also when you flash this Rom you format your System through CWM . so your CWM gone .
Solution . if you don't want to Flash it every time you flash a new Rom Unlock your bootloader and install a custom Kerne like LuPuS or Kappa or any Kernel in Development section
if you will still locked . flash it every time you flash a new Rom
Hope this helped
flash
