[Q] Choppy Bluetooth Audio Chevy MyLink - Verizon LG G3

So I just purchased a 2014 Chevy Cruze 1LT with the MyLink system. I have already had my G3 for a couple of months, and it has worked flawlessly with all other Bluetooth connections including the LG Tones headphones and a Logitech bluetooth receiver for my livingroom stereo. They get great range, no skipping, and good audio quality.
The G3's audio with the MyLink system is very choppy, and it's very random. At times it plays perfectly fine, but most of the time I have to either reboot the phone, restart the stereo or BT connection, re-pair the BT, change apps in the phone (Google Play Music, Songza, stock music player), toggle inputs on the stereo (to FM Radio and back to BT Audio). Sometimes these methods work, sometimes they don't. Calls are not choppy, just the A2DP BT profile for audio streaming.
This problem does not occur on my wife's Galaxy S3 or my Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. I haven't tried any other of my older phones. I have factory reset the LG G3 (via system recovery) and tried it with nothing else installed on the device but the problem is still occurring, I have also reset the radio to factory defaults. I am rooted, but so are all of my devices and they have no issues. I have a case on my G3 but tried it with the case off. I have no wireless charging accessories that would interfere.
I am at a loss. The only solution I can think is to wait for an update to the G3 (that will probably break root) and pray it's fixed or contact MyLink support and ask them to look into it. Any thoughts?

I also have terrible audio stuttering over Bluetooth. I notice it in an audi q5, although it normally doesn't annoy me enough to put on fm radio instead. I also drive a Chevrolet camaro, and the audio stuttering makes the g3 unusable. My other devices don't have this problem.
I would love a software upgrade that fixes it.

If you have aux line in on your car stereo and you are looking to go wireless you can always try a bluetooth to stereo receiver like this one from best buy. (if you also wanna through a few bucks at it)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/281431587099?lpid=82

Bluetooth streaming over Elantra Limited with my G3 is perfect with no issues. You guys rooted or stock? Stock here.

I'm stock. I tried it tonight, and the Audi had only one or two minor stuttering issues. It occurred to me that sometimes I wear an Android Wear watch, and the stuttering is particularly bad when I do. I suppose trying to maintain two bluetooth connections at the same time would be hard.
Anyway, I'm glad streaming worked tonight, but it's been so unreliable in the past that I'm by no means certain that it's fixed.

Do you have lots of contacts? I think it has something to do with our phones sharing contacts with the mylink radio. Try unpairing and rename your device name to something else. When you connect again, say NO to allowing it to read your contacts and no to reading your messages and no to call history. Let me know if its smooth after that. I think there is something up with the phone syncing via bluetooth the contact data and messaging data.
I'm having the same issue with my 2015 VOLT, and this is the only thing that i can do for now to resolve it.

Yes! That did the trick! I denied the car's access to the addressbook and texts when I re-paired the device and has been smooth so far. Thank you! Brilliant insight!
There must not be enough virtual memory in the MyLink system for people with a large addrsssbook...

Awesome! OK so what I tried this morning was to allow the contacts but I waited maybe 10 minutes before I started any Bluetooth audio etc. Seems smooth now too. So maybe it just doesn't multi-task well?

I'm having the same problem on my Chevrolet S10 2014 mylink, but I just have the problem when running on ART mode. Mine phone is LG G3 D855 - 32Gb running V20a lollipop. On other devices run perfect. Will do the test tonight and give feedback.
Thank you!!
Edited: Did not worked to me. Same problem very bad sound quality. Look like the music play slowly. Very weird.

I have the same issue with my 2014 Cruze with MyLink and my G3. My old S3 and my girlfriend's S5 work fine. However my G3 is constantly stuttering and dropping connection when using the Pandora app. It happens when just choosing Bluetooth on the Mylink but it's not as bad. I'll try deleting/repairing without allowing contacts when I leave work.

Well as far as I know viseeousa BT works with android phones. A friend of mine have this WMA2000 and it really works well with android for bluetooth streaming, no interruptions.

nexus 10 and moto s10-hd

So I bought a pair of Motorola S10-HD Bluetooth headphones tonight. First paired them to my Acer A500 running 4.1 and they worked fine. Now I just tried to connect them to my Nexus 10 on 4.2.1 and the audio stutters like crazy and the Android UI slows to a crawl anytime it tries to play a sound. Any known issues here or anything I can try to get these things working? I have a Bluetooth adapter in my truck that works perfectly with my N10.

I have a similar issue with my jbl flip bluetooth speaker. It crackles all the time and just doesn't seem to have the same quality as my s3. Also on a side note when I use bluetooth and wifi they can drop out.I hope an update can fix these bluetooth issues.

There are well known issues with Bluetooth in 4.2 (which your S3 is probably not running) since they changed the stack. Here's hoping that they do fix it soon.
So I just swapped the motos for a set of lg tone's and the same issue is there. Very frustrating that something as simple as Bluetooth audio is broken. Strange since it seems to work fine with Bluetooth in my truck.
My Moto S11 Flex HD seems fine...
Saw another post with similar issues and they said a reboot fixed their problem. Gave it a try and it seems to have fixed the problem, for now at least.

Glad that the reboot helped. My LG Tones have been working fine as long as I stay within 50ft.

Bluetooth Media Audio Connectivity Issues W/ T-Mobile V10

I really like this phone but can't figure out why LG Phones have so many problems with their Bluetooth Connectivity....
I have a New 2016 Honda which my V10 when I set it up works fine then.... if I leave the car with my phone and then return, the media audio portion of the bluetooth just goes into a endless loop of disconnecting... Phone calls are fine. But media audio only works the first time you go through the whole pairing process then won't work again until you do the whole process over again... When I had the LG G4, it did the exact same thing with my 2012 Hyundai until LG patched it....
Anyone else having issues with the media audio connection with their bluetooth? I've tried all the tricks like toggling stuff on / off, clearing caches, etc. Just hoping to see that it is not a random case of a bad phone but rather a "known" issues
Thanks! :good:
Exact same problem with a 2015 Silverado. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.
Yep
Same here as well.

I've got a 2013 Civic SI, works great. Must be a different Hondalink platform in the newer models.
This has been my big complaint so far. Every other phone I have automatically connects to my bt receiver when I get in the car, but I have to physically connect with the V10.
So i made a thread about this a couple days ago then no one replied and of course 3 new threads on it popped up.... anyways im having the same issue with verizon. I just purchased the NEX 4100 and phone calls are fine but audio doesnt work nor does android auto which a HUGE issue for me.... Im thinking about returning it because of this. I called lg today and they of course brushed it off onto pioneer which i will call tomorrow. What do you guys think should i get a different phone? I was also thinking of returning it next week and still getting the promo stuff then buying it again on black friday for a better deal? Are these issues normally patched quickly or should i not bother holding onto a phone that doesnt work with my new $1500 sound system that i intentionally got for android auto....

I have a 2015 Accord EX-L. Have not had this problem. Not yet anyway.
However as I mentioned in another thread, the V10 does not continuously update the signal strength meter on the car dashboard. Only when the V10's screen is lit. After it goes out, you can drive through deadspots and think you have 5 bars of signal. Until you press the power button which then updates the display in the car. Since I had the HTC One M9 up until this past Friday, I can tell you that it definitely kept the signal strength meter in the car up to date continuously.
Have a 2015 Chevy SS.. Had a situation where there was no bluetooth audio with the mylink system in the car. Happened once.. Has worked reliably ever since.
Luckily for me on my Subaru system the phone has always connected properly at startup. But the audio regularly skips when playing... not jut on my car, but on my bluetooth headphones I have as well, same thing with skipping issues. On occasion my car's audio will get completely disconnected while I'm driving as well, very annoying.
Used my car's audio and bluetooth headphones with my S6 and had zero issues with them. Must be V10 issues. Hopefully a 6.0 update fixes the problems, otherwise I'm trading in again.
I'm having similar issues, 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid, streaming Spotify via Bluetooth incoming calls don't stop the Spotify music automatically and the person on the other end cannot be heard. I'm coming from the Note 4 and it never had this issue. Any recommendations?
I've got a 2015 VW Jetta TDI manual and this is the first phone I've had that works properly. I've got the LG Tone Pro headphones too, and when I shut the car off it goes to headphones almost immediately. Vice versa too, and this is the only phone I've had that video syncs with audio or is maybe 1ms off.
My thinking is it must be different bt link platforms in the car, but we should all be on BT 4.0 by now. Sorry that it's not working properly for you guys. Keep complaining until they fix it. Customer satisfaction is their goal.
My 2013 Chevy cruze works perfect. Not any issues what so ever

I'm having problems connecting to my 2015 GMC Sierra (GMC Intellilink). I can connect, connect automatically, make and receive phone calls, but the bluetooth audio for music DOES NOT WORK. Most of the time, when I try to play a song via google play music or Deezer, the head unit in my truck immediately goes BLACK for about 10 seconds, I hear a whirrr of an internal fan, and it starts back up disconnected from the phone. The phone is causing the head unit to fail & restart. Sometimes it doesn't restart. It'll show the progress bar of the music, as well as on my phone. I can pause, play, next song, etc. but NO AUDIO comes out. It's just dead silent.
I actually have my truck in the shop right this second to see if they can upgrade the software in the head unit, or figure it out. I'm sure they're going to tell me I'm S.O.L. I really don't want to have to return this phone. It's perfect, aside from that 1 issue, but I didn't buy a brand new vehicle to be plugging my phone into a headphone jack like a knuckledragger
It turns out the Bluetooth seems to work fine in my 2014 Honda with Hands Free Link. It takes maybe 10-15 seconds longer than my previous phones to auto- connect when I start the car, but it does it. Music sounds on par.

Same issue with my V10 in a 2013 FR-S. Between the Bluetooth and Fingerprint scanner issues I'm returning this Flag****...I mean Flagship phone.
There seems to be an issue with auto A2DP bluetooth connectivity even if Bluetooth is connected.
After I connect with bluetooth: Oftentimes, I will have to choose the "Chromecast share" app logo on apps and explicitly choose to "connect to a2dp device" - for 8tracks and youtube for example. For apps that don't have that "share" button, I will have to play out of phone speakers first, than go in to the bluetooth details section while connected via bluetooth already, select configure for the bluetooth connected device....than uncheck and check the "Media Audio" box.;The media will than usually switch to play through bluetooth device.
Clunky workaround. I've had to do this with nexus devices too and it seems to be an issue with android OS a2dp audio routing. I believe the blame is with Android versus LG. If a2dp worked on Samsung, it's bc Samsung patched the hole in android.
Have a VW Passat 2013.Was now problem with Bluetooth connection until yesterday. Have a V10 for a week, but yesterday it was looping in connection and unable to connect back did everything what you guys did ,no luck .Very disappointing
I have this issue and it's on every bluetooth device I connect to. I literally had to put the phone less than 2 feet from my head to listen to music... Hope a fix comes out soon

Anybody having Bluetooth issues with the G5?

So I've had my G5 less than a week now and really like the phone. But I'm starting to notice some Bluetooth issues. I have an unreasonable number of Bluetooth earpieces and headsets, and have started noticing problems with all of them with the new phone. From very poor sound quality to the connection being dropped while the phone is in my hand or my pocket. I've had the headsets a long time, the phone is the new variable in the equation. And I'm having some degree of trouble with all my headsets, which leads me to believe there's a phone issue. Anybody else experiencing anything like this? Not sure if it might be a defective phone, or if it's a G5 problem. Anybody?
I don't have any of those issues, sound quality shouldn't be the bluetooth issue.
The only issue I have is the range. covering the phone with a hand in a pocket might make the headphones stutter.
Some people are experiencing those types of issues if a factory reset doesn't solve it i suggest you get it exchanged for a new one i for one am not experiencing any of the launch issues

Perhaps "sound quality" was a poor choice of words on my part. I start getting a garbled 'sproingey' (sorry, don't know how to explain it better) condition, where I actually had to take it off Bluetooth, as I couldn't carry on a conversation. Never had any such problems with my G2 with same headsets, so this is all new. I hate to think I need to do a hard reset on a phone I've had less than a week to resolve such a problem. I hope being a relatively early adopter hasn't set me up for a pack of teething problems. So you say others have been experiencing similar problems?

That's what I like to call a good sign of a bad sign.
I have the problem, that sometimes/often the when the phone connects to my crar radio, it only connects as phone and is not able to stream music. When I disconnect and connect again, everythings fine.
Strange
The issue I'm having is with my Tracks AIR headphones. I have to unpair them and repair them every time I connect them. And usually every three or four days I have to reboot my Moto 360 to get it to reconnect to my G5. Did not have any of these problems on my s6e. It's a pain in the ass more than anything, not enough for me to take the phone back.
I have an ATT G5 from launch day... My jaybird ear buds work just fine and quality is good, and it pairs with my LG sound bar and woofer in my living room with no problems. My sons small Mossy oak BT speaker pairs and sounds just fine also.
Now beyond that I can't comment. I haven't used my ear buds on a call yet bc I don't like talking through them in general lol.

LG G5 Bluetooh Issues
My issues are likely the receiver, as my LG G5 will connect to my Nissan Versa Bluetooth (phone only) without issues.
I have a USB Bluetooth dongle with a 3.5mm jack to my Versa AUX jack. My LG G5 will always connect to the USB BT device automatically, just no audio at all. If I have music playing when I attempt to connect, the phone goes silent, but the audio does not get sent over to the BT receiver. So, I must go into Bluetooth settings, disconnect then reconnect that device. This happens every time, and the re-connect method always solves the audio issue.
PITA, but I'm going to purchase another receiver and see if that solves my issues.

Any difference with BT if wifi is on vs off ?
made me think of this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/wifi-cuts-bluetooth-t3362158
I can't answer that, but it's a moot point now. I took the phone back and had them replace it. No problems so far with the new one, although it's not been thoroughly tested yet with all three of my BT headsets. But so far, so good.
Bluetooth is ok about connection here but not the sound (BOSE Soundlink Soundspeaker). Sometimes, the sound is like leveling up or such... hard to explain, it goes higher (not volume but the notes are higher) and it's very annoying. That's not the first phone who is doing that but my last phone (Xperia Z3 Compact) didn't have this issue at all.
I think I'm having the exact same issues as many here, LG G5 (LG-H3831, only diff I see is the Canadian has lot's of frequencies for LTE-A)
I have a 2008 Versa, Hands Free connects, every time I start the car.
I have a bluetooth dongle for my audio, it connects EVERY time, but I start the car, but no audio. I 'must' always go into Bluetooth settings, disconnect, and reconnect, and press PLAY immediately, else if I wait too long, audio Apps will 'play', just no sound, not on phone, not on Blue-tooth.
This is really irritating, as I have 3 different blue-tooth devices, and all three are the same. If I don't press play/get any audio going right away it'll it'll connect, but no audio until do the disconnect/re-connect. PITA
My issue is phone call volume is so low...

I have a problem with the BT phone audio momentarily being dropped while on a call with my car built in BT. I will lose the call audio and the radio (which shuts off during a call) will come back for 5 or 10 seconds. The call does not drop and the call audio comes back afterward.
I really like the G5. Yesterday was my last day with the Tmo "buyers remorse" so I am having them send me another one. I hate to switch it out because I have none of the build problems some are reporting- no light bleed, audio and audio jack are good, good alignment of phone body with module.
Anyone else have this issue?

Bluetooth issue?

Quick question: is anyone having issues with Bluetooth stopping every so often while playing music? It does it on my Klipsch earphones & in my car (my only Bluetooth listening so far). What I've noticed is that it interrupts the music because it thinks it's in a call. If I press the button on my earphones that would end a call (or likewise in my car), the music starts right back up. It seems like an odd bug. Any thoughts?
Haven't seen anything wrong. I don't want to jinx myself but so far, it's actually working much better than my V20 was. Every day I'd have to turn my BT off and back on before starting my car or it might not connect the audio properly. Then, about once a week, a complete restart was needed. Haven't had to do either with the V30 yet.
V30 Bluetooth issues
I've had multiple issues with Bluetooth connectivity for a few of my devices come up recently.
For example, I'm getting delays in receiving notifications for both my smart watches, even though only one of them is active at any given time.
My Snap Spectacles was paid, but suddenly stopped transferring videos to the V30. I paired the glasses to my iPad, and videos transferred seamlessly.
The notification for WiFi Direct keeps popping up abet few minutes. Says something about running Bluetooth, wifi, and wifi direct at the same time can cause issues. Sadly, I couldn't find a toggle to turn wifi direct off. Even when I turn regular wifi off, it turns back on.
I have no issues with BT ... but, the sound issue is likely notifications.
Yup...Bluetooth Issues Here
So I finally have the LG V30. Generally a great phone. But I too have bluetooth issues. I hear static on calls made over bluetooth. Two phones, same issue. My G6 did not have this problem. When I (briefly) had the GS8 and Note8 this was not a problem. The funny thing is, when the phone is in my pocket with the screen off, there is no static. When I remove the phone from my pocket and wake the screen, the static returns. The bluetooth works fine for my podcasts and music. Weird. But reproducible. I use the BT in my car a lot (yes, I actually make phone calls on my phone )
So I was wondering if others have had any bluetooth issues.

Weird indeed. No problems here. I'm paired to a 2013 Audi, a 2013 Ford, and a 2017 Chevy, not to mention an older Plantronics earpiece. No problems -- all my calls sound normal, or even crystal clear in Verizon HD.
This is with screen on with Waze, Pandora, even Android Auto running.

I did this on my first V30. A factory data reset did not resolve the problem. I am not sure if a reset will help with this one either. But I will give it another try.
I am having similar issues with the Bluetooth on the LG V30. When the phone is too close to the built in navigation screen/Radio in my vehicle, I am getting a lot of static. Only when making/receiving phone calls. When I move the phone 1 foot or more away from the center counsel of the dashboard the static goes away.
Went to the TMobile store where I bought the phone. They produced another LG V30 and connected to my vehicle's bluetooth. Same issue.
No issues when connected to music players.
Quite frustrating as I really like the phone.
I'm having BT problems. Calling is pretty much useless in my car (2015 Subaru), but music works reasonably well.
I'm getting continuous toast notifications about the phone connecting/disconnecting every 30 seconds or so, no matter what device. Very, very frustrating.

I'm wondering if you have the cheaper stereo in the 2015? It's the one with a small monochrome screen and manual knobs?
My wife has issues in her 15 WRX with that stereo and her phones. As soon as my number ports, I'll try mine with my 16 WRX. I have the premium version with the smaller non navigation stereo.

My wife has issues in her 15 WRX with that stereo and her phones. As soon as my number ports, I'll try mine with my 16 WRX. I have the premium version with the smaller non navigation stereo.

Yup, its the stock version. My S6 Edge before the v30 didn't have any issues. The calling thing is awful on the v30, it's unusable.

Same issue. My S6 never had an issue, however my new LG v30 sounds crystal clear when streaming audio but when I connect to a call, the call is distorted, broken, and static filled. I tried force stopping and clear data & caches of both bluetooth services, but nothing worked.
I also have a 2014 Subaru Outback with the stock radio.
My car is also a subaru (2012 Legacy). Issue is static in calls, however.
I have no problems with BT on my JBL headphones or my 2014 Ford Focus bluetooth but with my motorcycle bluetooth comm (Scala Freerider 1) I get playback of audio at like 75% speed with a lot of crackling and popping. No BT issues on the motorcycle comm with my Pixel C or S8.
I have the same issue. When I connect with my Bluetooth on my car the music plays but it randomly stops in the middle of the song, then starts again. It's like it loses the connection then gets it back right away. Doesn't seem to do it when I use the headphone jack.
In my case something different has happened.
The audio quality for connection inside the car gives a lot to be desired compared to the Galaxy S8 plus. I listen to the music as if it were with some bad quality or grit.
If the bluetooth has apt-x quality, it seems to me that my terminal does not hear how well this compression codec contributes, which theoretically transmits more audio data than bluetooth without apt-x.
Is there someone else who has the same thing?

Guys I'm new to the v30 I came from g4, my issue is that in my yaris 2014 I've connected the v30 but it doesn't recognize the phone, but it pairs as "unregistered" even I've tried to pair it with passcode but the phone just connects, and doesn't ask for any passcode after it connects I can play music but when I turned the car off and then on again v30 doesn't connect back, I have to unpair the car audio system to pair it again with the same problem of the unregistered device thing...
Edit:
Guys I just fix my problem downloading an app from the store that connects the Bluetooth to my car sistem, it recognizes it and connects automatically now, what I believe it is a problem with Bluetooth app from the phone itself

Music through Bluetooth sounds terrible

Hey guys. I have a 2017 Subaru wrx. When I connect my v 30 over Bluetooth to listen to my music it sounds tinny and metallic. I'm using Google music to stream music. I never had issues with music over Bluetooth with my previous phones. Any help is greatly appreciated!

What head unit? I have the non navigation unit in mine. Wondering if it'll sound the same.
No issues streaming over to my car, Mazda 3 here. Not sure what to tell you as it's just a digital stream of data between your phone and car. All of the unpackaging is done on the car's side of things. The phone is using the newer BT 5 which allows it to put out a lot more data, so I don't see that being a problem. Check your streaming quality settings in Google Music and if that's set as high as it can go, check to see if maybe your car's system needs an update.

I have the non navigation unit too.
I have problems with podcasts, but music comes through beautifully.
Are you streaming files from the phone or streaming from your own music or listening to streaming stations? If streaming, you can try adjusting the quality settings in google play music.
No issues here with my Hyundai Sonata w/ Infinity headunit. I use standard BT (44 KHz) and Android Auto (48 KHz) and actually find the quality to be improved from my past 3 phones (V20, S8+, Note8).
I get popping and crackling streaming to isimple connect.
Music and podcasts were fine for me. Call were terrible. Lots of static on calls. I has this issue with two V30s. I had to return the phone and go with the GS8+.
coming from my moto pure, which was terrible on the bluetooth with my 2013 tacoma (HU is from a 2015 Tacoma) i had decent sound but it would drop out all the time, this phone is a dramatic improvement. there are more features in play, and the sound quality is as good as can be expected for streaming audio on a stock unit and speakers.
I was just coming in to say the same. Even from my V20, going through a cheap walmart BT - FM Transmitter, the sound is richer on the V30 than it was before, and less static between the devices.
Check your quality settings in Google

Have you tried changing the quality on mobile network settings in Google Play Music? Could be a case the source is low quality causing your distortion.
I've tried changing the quality and there's no difference.
I'm currently struggling with static over Bluetooth in my WRX. This morning I actually did a factory reset on the stereo. I couldn't tell as I was kinda in a hurry to test it too much. I will find out here in about 1.5hrs though.

Do you have Android Auto as an option? I've found BT streaming to be more stable when I use AA in my car. It streams at 48Hz instead of 44Hz.
That being said, I don't have quality issues either way. Just the occasional blip in streaming that lasts less than a second.

I don't have that option unfortunately. I wish I did though. What I've tried so far, just creates the same issue. No way around it as of yet.

I will test tomorrow in my car where I stream over my audio system using a Audioengine B1. So far I tested BT today using my BT headphones and they definitely sound a little different. I think they sound cleaner and very good though. This is compared to my Moto X Pure 2015, which seemed to sound very good also. The overall volume was a little lower than my previous phone but with the vol all the way up it was perfect for me to enjoy and overcome the sound of my lawnmower while cutting the lawn today
So no issues so far.
no problem at all on my jeep with Uconnect
Tested today in my car using my Audioengine B1 (stereo) and car BT (cell), sounds awesome!!
Plus found out since its a metal back plate it sticks to the dash magnet thingy I have vs using the metal plate inside of a case!!
SO far loving this phone.
Nothing useful to add at the moment beyond noting that my 2017 Subaru (BRZ) has the same issue. It appears it may be something unique to the pairing of a Subaru HU and the V30, or possibly just LG. My Sony Z5 works just fine with the stock HU, and the V30 works fine with a very cheap 1DIN HU I have around... I've reached out to Subaru but don't expect anything but finger pointing.
I'll instead likely be changing the HU to something that does Android Auto or even mirror-link... if only it were easy to make any sense of the Android HU offerings! I admit I'd sort-of like to keep the reverse camera and the steering wheel controls. I guess it wasn't worth saving the $800 on the 2017 after all (with 2018 now available for order with a price increase...) - then again, I may like whatever I install better.
I just wanted to add what I found since seems a lot of issues are from scoobies. I have an 2011 Forester XT stock non-nav HU. HU will never auto connect like it did with my HTC 10. But I found out that if I connect it through the HU works like a charm everytime. Before I was going to BT setting on the LGV30 and connecting it that way. And sometimes it would connect and if it did was really spotty, sound would stutter all the time. Drive me nuts. Now with connecting first through the HU works like a charm all the time, and just sometimes their is stutter. For my HU i've attached a pic of where the setting would be. and for me would be to click on "select audio player" and the click V30 and all is heaven.
Hope that helps some fellow scoobies.
