B102 (Germany) vs B007 (Taiwan) - Huawei MediaPad, T-Mobile SpringBoard

Currently, my Mediapad X1 FD-501L firmware is B102 (Germany).
Should I replace B102 with B007 (Taiwan)?
Since both is running KitKat 4.4.2, any differences between this two firmware?

What I know...
The German build has some pre-install games and the Taiwan build has some pre-install Chinese software's. But believe you can uninstall the software's and games from both firmware once installation has completed.
I had the German build since it came out and the dpi is 400. Just finished downloading and now currently upgrading to the Taiwan B007 firmware. Not sure of dpi until process is completed. Will update soon...
Also the German firmware is bigger in file size, maybe do to the pre-install games.

Thanks.
Hope to ge an update soon before I switch to B007 or stick with B102

No Different...
RaJa BerSiong, for right now I would just stay with the German build. I ran both firmware test with AnTuTu benchmark and the German build is a lot faster build then the Taiwan. German build scored 25920 and the Taiwan build scored 24648. Both build DPI is 400. Both build my 4G didn't work for the Middle East.
Hope this help you out...
Also thanks for posting the new firmware release from Malaysia. I'm currently downloading it. Hope the Malaysia build work for my 4G and DPI is fix...

AnTuTu benchmark:
German build - 25929
Taiwan build - 24648
Malaysia build - 24108
I assume Germany technology is much faster than others.
Haha.

Wow Malaysia build is slower. What did it say for DPI setting? Is it also at 400 or 320? I just finished downloading the Malaysia build and just going to test to see if my 4G will work on it. If not, going back to German build.

I have done some research about this Rom version because I didn't know this Rom version but it seams to be a South East Asia Rom version you have.
If this is correct, that's the reason way you can't access the new Rom on the HTC website because it's based on EU users.
so as in htc doesnt provides any support for the south east asian versions?

Thy are probably working on it; even the EU version don't support every language fore the moment.
Ow, I don't recommended to flash this EU version on a hard way. Some peoples have tray it and it isn't a good thing, trust me.
but i need a new rom i guess bcuz my leo is lagging while using...im new to the cooked rom stuff but can the cooked roms get the job done for me?

Yes, cooked Rom are more flexible!
It isn't complicate just read and follow the information that the Rom builder mention.
thanks kurt! ..btw just wanted to know if htc releases the roms only for some specific region as in will they actually release a south asian rom update? and can you point me to some thread relating to battery life of the hd2? deosnt last a day with all the updates turned off

- Yes official HTC Rom updates are regional
- When will thy released a south asian Rom?? I don't know I don't work fore them, and there isn't a logic?
- Battery live is related to different point's; most influent is the Radio version.
I must be honest till yesterday personally I was only satisfy with the 1.07 radio I tray them all, just yesterday I tested the new 1.15 radio and I must say "thats the one!" fore my used, it depends of your location and in combination of the Rom
If you don't have a clou about a Rom take a look on the Artemis Rom (It's the one I used, and very happy with it) (You can find the link in my signature)
PS this is a suggestion, based on my experience but I'm sure if you ask 10 peoples with one is the best Rom you will get 7 different answer if it is not 10!

no, kernels has nothing to do with regions!
infact if you are within same android version, like Nougat, you can even use kernel of older build to newer build release! it wont matter! (beside it security patch and version indications in ABOUT PHONE )
So which version should I flash - hk generic or commercial and journalists version?

Samsung has frequent update delays for Chinese market. Perhaps some peculiarities of the legislation. Updates for Canada are the same.

You can either wait for the OTA to arrive or flash it yourself using ODIN. The firmware file became available a few days ago for the Chinese market. Haven't tested it yet though, I'm downloading it now.

Edit: After testing, I don't recommend the Chinese version, too much bloatware, and no google services. We've gotta wait for the HK version.

Same problem here. Samsung don't release update for s21 china / hk / Taiwan .
No communication of Samsung for explain why ... Maybe geopolitics problems with Android and conflict between china and USA.
samsung probably does not want to offend the chinese government. we must hope that the phone is not filled with bloatware. Next Time i can't buy chinese version.

Hey, maybe some can answer this for me?
I have the S21 SM-G991U (snapdragon), purchased from USA, using it in Europe.
There is no OTA update for android 12 and I am not sure why.
So, I wanted to flash it via ODIN, but I am not sure what version of firmware to download.
When I use *#1234# > it shows me this CSC: G991UOYN4AUIN
When I use the "Samsung Phone INFO" app, the "Active CSC code" is GCF (screenshot attached).
Could someone answer this for me and tell me what firmware version I could download? Or why there is no OTA yet?
Thank you!
HK version got it guys
I will let you know how it goes after i update
update:
other than the new privacy controls and jiggly animations, It feels more or less the exact same to me
I hope for the future, security patch will be push more quickly ...
