once you request the unlock code..your warranty is lost..no matter you unlock or not.waranty is gone.
actually for that reason only am still stock unrooted..and waiting for the l update(if it comes.and probably will).and maybe after that i wont even root as there we have the sd card permission back..and we can install large games then..and thats the only reason for atleast me to root.
Thanks for your reply. Ok for warranty.
But if relock, my phne loose all changes ?

Yuppyyyy!!!!! thanks a lot, you are amazing.I am going to try it right now.
Does it have undervoltage or overclock feutures?
You are the man!!!!!!!
No.It doesn't have overclock features(at least not yet).Just cwm recovery and root.
Unlocked bootloader needed?
Maan ! thank you ! .. I was looking for this.
EDIT: I can't access to cwm, I need to install something else ?
No!You do not have to install anything else.Reboot, and as soon as you see the white sony ericsson logo push the power on/off button several times (about 20) until you enter cwm recovery.
My bootloader is unlocked,so i cannot guarantee that it will work with a locked bootloader.I will test it and i will let all of you know...

So warranty is voided forever after unlock bootloader and DRM key will be lost... To much losts. Will wait for version which won't need that much sacrifice
Bootloader relock is not posible ATM...
With 2.3.3 you can successfully relock bootloader. Why isen't it possible with 2.3.4?

Any link to tutorial?
You can unlock and relock your bootloader as many times as you want with 2.3.4 also. The link below is for 2.3.3 but it works the same way with 2.3.4.TESTED.
You will lose DRM forever though...

check this link to unlock boot loader without loosing drm content
i personally didn't tested it yet though lot many users did it & it worked for them, so you can give it a try. unlocking from SE site will make you loose the drm content
For what is DRM needed?
Boot bootloader unlock and damaginf DRM key causes void the warranty, and in case when you're not able to restore the factory state in this phone it doesn't make any sense
It doesn't make any sense to flash custom kernels... I read that after bootloader unlock You're not able to back to stock ROM using SEUS, U need Flashtool and tft file to install stock ROM, right?
Warranty is voided in this case. there is not secure method to install it.
Nope, you can re-lock the bootloader and use SEUS if you want.
Which Apps need DRM?
in se drm contents are track-id etc

Hey guys I have some questions. First of all I own an sk17i with ics. I had locked the bootloader and flashed ics now I wanna unlock it again, should I do this via the official way or via test method. If I unlock the bootloader will everything be deleted? And if I flash a custom kernel will I be able to flash super charger script?
*sorry but I am a newbie!

If you do it with official method, you will lose your warranty, if you do it with tespoint method, you can unlock and relock and sony won't recognize, so your warranty is keepen up!
Here is the official method of sony, where you will loose your warranty.
Here you will find information on unlocking without loosing drm keys.
Unlocking the bootloader will delete all personal data, so do a nandroid backup via cwm before, so you can restore your current rom later.

If you've previously unlocked the bootloader, then RE-locked it, you need to use the official method again.
You can use the same key to unlock it as before.
Unlocking bootloader does not affect any system or data files. So no, you don't loose any data.
V6 supercharger script requires init.d. Stock kernel doesn't support that ability unless you install it.
Anyway, you can install V6 with any kernel supposedly it supports init.d.
As far as I know, every custom kernel has support...

I do not have cwm installed and that's why I want to unlock bootloader. I have unlocked via official way so I think I should unlock it again via official way.

So the apps will not be deleted? Cause the other man said that everything is gonna be deleted:S Please tell me man. I will unlock bootloader via official way, then I will install a custom kernel and finally I will install super charger
EDiT: you loose data partition so do make a backup
You can easily find a backup app on the market.
After that, you can flash a custom kernel and install V6
Official unlock method makes factory reset, so yes, you lose all data.
Thank you guys! when I will finish everything I'll tell you

You know you don't need to unlock your bootloader to root and install Cwm right? Also it is always advised to root, backup ta partition and then unlock bootloader. If you do that, you can restore your TA partition at a later date and recovery your drm keys.
Hi.
Last year I unlocked bootloader and rooted my Z5C before it was possible to backup the TA and now I'm a bit lost in what to do. Yesterday I used Flashtool to install 32.3.A.0.378 but the problem is the DRM is gone. I have a locked bootloader so apps that check for this finally work. Therefore, if possible, I want to stay on locked bootloader a bit if it's possible to put in a DRM hack so camera pictures are nice again.
Is it possible to keep bootloader locked and install AndroPlus kernel? Or is there another way of getting DRM back without unlocking?
Device is not rooted and there's no recovery on it. But it's smooth like hell!
Any suggestions?
No, not possible.
If you want a kernel with drm fix, you have to unlock bootloader
