Unable to receive files via bluetooth - AT&T LG Optimus G

Hi guys. There's something wrong with bluetooth on my e970. I can send a file to any device. But there are only few devices I can revieve files from. For instance, I can't recieve anything from a samsung s3, htc desire-s and retina macbook pro. But I have no problems recieving files from my old hp laptop.
I'm on stock E97020j firmware. I flashed it using lgnpst and I haven't unlocked the bootloader. But I had used freegee once. Recently I discovered that freegee corrupts the bluetooth mac adress, so I restored the original adress, but it didn't solve my problem.

Cant put any file on phone

Rooted my phone exactly how the guide told me to, and now my phone wont communicate with my computer, i cant put files, music or anything else on my phone. It wont communicate with kies, kies air, doubletwist, and doesn't let me explore files. Any help would be great. And i tried searching and couldnt find the thread, could someone link me the thread to do a full system restart on my phone in case i need to return it?
Here's the thread from Entropy on restoring back to stock, either rooted or unrooted.

As to your issue, so even if you attempt to connect via an IP address, it doesn't work? Have you tried the 'Wifi File Transfer' app in the Marketplace by chance?
I did try Wifi File Transfer app and it did the same thing as kies air and doubletwist wifi sync, and just said there was a network error.
I restored it back to factory default and everything is working fine now, ill try another method of rooting it and see if there is a difference.
My brother (Spring S II) and I (AT&T S II) are experiencing the same issues. However on my mac they connect fine. What gives?

[Q] Unlocking and Rooting 4.1.2 VRAMC3 with no internet access?

Hello I have searched with no luck.
I am using my current Note II as a hotspot for my home internet (not with Verizon's permission). With that being said, I have a warranty replacement phone and would like to unlock and root it. The new phone is running 4.1.2 VRAMC3, so I would have to unlock/root it using these methods http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2272066. However with my phone being the only source of internet via hotspot, I am unable to use this method as you must be connected to the internet. When I take the battery out of my current phone and put it in the replacement phone I have no internet (I understand this, this is not the issue).
What I am asking is there to unlock and root my replacement device like the old method here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2043636? This method needed no internet connection to the pc while unlocking/rooting.
If I can go ahead and use Casual Injection 9 to do it manually I imagine the pit file, The Bootloader Baseline package - Odin Package, Suck It Verizon Bootloader 2- Odin Package are not the same as it would be for the i605VRALJB.
Where can I download the correct files to use with Odin and Casual Injection 9?
Thank you so much!!
My laptop has a damaged screen or I would take it to the local McDonalds to use there internet connect. I dont see myself being welcome carrying my broken laptop and a 70" led tv to McDonalds lol.
Solved! Bought a new laptop and went to McDonald's for Wifi.

Android File Transfer not seeing my N9 from Mac

Took my N9 from bone stock to unlocked, rooted (with Magisk), custom ROM and kernel; all without issue about 6 weeks ago. Today, I connect it to the same Mac laptop and Android File Transfer cannot see the N9 to transfer files. Charging is activated, but the app does not autostart on the Mac as usual, and when I bring it up manually it says no android device connected.
Developer options on the N9 look fine, ADB and OEM unlocking set to on. Anyone seen anything like this?
EDIT: Turned out to be not one, but two iffy (??) USB cables. Cables provided with an Anker charger work fine.

I just tried on Mac mini running Sierra (N9 is stock, unlocked and rooted with EX kernel but no Magisk). Once I selected the file transfer option on the tablet, all my files showed up in AFT. It could be the cable even if it works with others. Of course you've rebooted both. Make a nandroid back-up then install stock to see what happens. I normally work with Windows so can't help beyond confirming that my set up works with Mac.

Rooted Galaxy Stratosphere, restore stock ROM - USB device not connected

Hello all,
EDIT (20180902 @ 1230 EDT): So, it must be a driver issue on my desktop machine, as I was able to communicate with the phone using my laptop (the original computer I used to root the phone). If anyone cares to explain anything to me regarding my original post, feel free, but consider the original issue solved. I have other issues that are unresolved though, such as the lack of operational wifi/BT (no MAC address) that I would gladly accept help with.
I'm attempting to turn an old Stratosphere into a portable Kali Linux device, and I thought the first step would be to root it. I followed these instructions: "https://rootzwiki.com/topic/7840-kernel-guide-root-your-stratosphere/" and everything seemed top be fine, however, now I have no MAC address (among other things) so I cannot connect to wifi. Much googling later, still no resolution found.
So, I ended up installing the CWM recovery by following this: "https://rootzwiki.com/topic/11949-recovery-clockworkmod-recovery-v-5027/". I did a heard reset, factory reset, and rebooted. Now, when attempting to flash the stock ROM using Heimdall and running heimdall detect, I get an libusb error -12, and even though Heimdall then reports "device detected", I cannot flash the ROM (get same libusb error).
I'm new to this whole process. I'm not an Android developer, programmer, etc. I consider myself relatively computer-literate. I have a little bit of Linux experience, but I'm currently using Win10 for all of this experimentation. I'm not sure what I've done wrong, or how to fix it. Why did the MAC address disappear? I have no BT either. I always thought the MAC address was a hardware parameter, but I'm assuming that flashing the rooted image is what has caused this issue.
Anyway, the Stratosphere is running Android 2.3.6. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Lenovo tab P11 bluetooth address issue marked as 00:00:00:00:00:00

buy the tablet from china and everything was ok except for the bluetooth, it seems that is unable to connect with any bluetooth device that have more current connection than 2.0, i tried with a TSW of 5.0, also 3 different headphones with 4.0 and a keyboard with 3.0, the only thing that was able to connect was a silly BT speaker with mushroom figure of 5$ and of course BT 2.0, lenovo support tells me it must be a compatibility issue (of course of lots of devices that i can use on my phone or a keyborard maded for the specific model). So i though is a matter of the MAC address of the bluetooth (WLAN MAC is correct), the MAC address of BT is marked as 00:00:00:00:00
I already tried to reboot the WLAN and bluetooth connection, also already made the factory reset, the las thing that i tried is to install the original first ROM unfortunally my PC won´t let me change it with QFIL due a sahara fail (already tried updating the qualcomm drivers, erase it, use the ones from the tablet, changing the version of the QFIL, changing the root of the rom version to the C:/ or to the QFIL folder) but it seems like my PC is just not going to work for it.
Sorry for bother you guys, but i´m out of ideas for fix it, do you have any kind of suggestion or something that you used for fix an issue of BT address? thanks T_T
Have you rooted your device and the stock rom has been replaced?
That BT mac address is obviously invalid. I think the BT issue must result from the current rom.

mmm no yet, i don´t know what kind of rom i can use for replace it, do you have any recomendation?
already fix it, bluetooth MAC address still on 00:00:00:00:00 but now it can connect to any device, i just install with QPST process the ROM TB-J606F_CN_WIFI_USER_Q00016.0_Q_ZUI_12.0.519_ST_210130 that is a chinese ROM but it can make the BT work even with that address, if your device have the same issue it´s possible that an original rom from the device country can make it work, even with that it´s BT address 00:00:00:00:00 can be a factory issue and if you can´t make the BT work is possible that needs to go to warranty or change the wireless connection chip on the motherboard
