[Q] Help recover phone - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
Yesterday my phone suddenly got stuck and wouldn’t boot.
Only the opening screen showing Samsung Galaxy S II was displayed.
I tried to enter the Android system recovery menu options but I got many errors saying that there are mounting problems in E…
I tried wipe data/factory reset and also wipe cash partition but they failed.
I also tried to Flash a rom with odin but it failed.
I tried this help guide but didn’t help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/guide-t2345831
I really need help...
Thanks,

[Q] Error mounting /data

Hey! yesterday I found a new rom for my phone, Alcatel One Touch 991 so I went downloading it, after flashing it. Everything worked just fine, but the after i restarted the phone, it didn't boot, it was stuck at the boot logo. So, I formatted my whole phone and then reinstalled the preloader, dsp_bl and that stuff. The only problem is that when I got into recovery to install android, i tried to wipe data/factory reset, but the screen just got black, then it gone back to the CWM's start screen. When I try to format /data it does the same thing, and when i try to mount /data it says "Error mounting /data". Installing a ROM won't help anyway, it would get stuck at the logo.
Can anyone help me? This phone does not use ODIN, because everything i found was for Samsung phones.
Thanks.
Anyone? :crying:

SM-G925I stuck in boot loop

I've been attempting to unroot my S6 Edge for the past day and probably took a wrong step which resulted in my phone not been able to boot. I currently have access to download mode and recovery mode with TWRP. I have tried to install the stock firmware downloaded from sammobile, but I have been running into errors. Most commonly, Compete(Write) operation failed. I have wiped the cache and done a factory reset and nothing has worked. So now I have run out of ideas with what to do to fix this problem. Please help.

Have you tried emergency software restore through smart switch?

Galaxy note SHV-E160S BRICKED - Ordin failed message

Rooted my phone with a Kingroot app and I accidentally deleted files that won't allow me to do a factory reset (it goes into loop, I have to take the battery out to stop) and no main screen shows... so I downloaded a theme app to see the main screen.
I thought if I disable the kingroot app, I could run the factory reset...but wrong!! very wrong choice!!
My phone doesn't boot!! it goes into loop at the beginning (the T logo keeps spinning).
I can't go to a recovery mode but I can access a download mode... so I found few CWM recovery files, custom ROMs (all .tar files) run via Odin but all files failed with message saying;
for cwm recovery files " Lock operation failed"
for custom Roms "Complete (Write) operation failed"
I don't know what else I can try to fix this phone... any idea please??

Samsung i9190 boot-loop and odin says pass without any changes

Hello i'm new here , I own a Samsung S4 mini i9190, recently it starts boot-loop, i haven't installed any roms before that, and it is not rooted
Here's what i tried so far :
Enter recovery by pressing the recovery buttons: erase data / wipe cache : it gives me no commands + error
i used Odin 3 for flashing stock firmwares (i tried 4 so far), it says pass, but soon i enter the recovery for wiping cache and data it goes the same error, and the bootloop starts again without any changes
i tried to update recovery, and soon it finished i enter the recovery for wiping data/cache the error appears and the boot-loop persists
Hope you can help , please i'm running out of options

NAND RW Corruption?

Hello everybody, My father's old S2 was running well till today, then suddenly it didn't wake up. Tried restarting and got a kernel panic. Then, nothing. The phone stucks on the I9100 logo or sometimes tries to boot, but it's stuck. It DOESN'T enter recovery mode, only download one. I was running a modded Nougat or Marshmallow ROM, and I've found a soft-brick/NAND RW corruption thread here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/help/guide-fix-unflashable-soft-bricked-gsii-t1457458
It's quite old and I don't know if it works, it refers to the old ICS, and, since I don't want to mess up things more than this, I prefer to ask you if someone has some other recent discussions or solutions for me.
Thank you so much in advance!
Guys can someone please help me? I tried that guide but I can't enter recovery mode, I tried flashing the CMW recovery with ODIN and it always get stuck on "NAND write start!". There is no chance to revive the phone? I can't flash a ROM with ODIN too, it gets stuck at the same point..
Also had the issue once that my device suddenly wouldn't boot up anymore. Also recovery didn't work. I fixed by flashing another recovery via Odin in download mode.
Did take quite long though until I finally succeeded, because at some recovery flashes Odin wouldn't pass 'NAND write start' or something. I tried with different recoveries and USB ports and somehow managed to get it working again. Then I wiped data, cache, system and reinstalled the ROM and Gapps.
Hope this helps.
