Hey i wanted to know if i could downgrade from a KK 4.4.2 Rom to a JB 4.2.3 or 4.2.2 Rom, just by flashing the JB Rom. Is my device going to brick or is it safe?
you're good to downgrade.
Alright thanks
i tried flashing CM 10.1 when i was in CM 11, and it didn't work. So instead, i went back to my NANDroid backup, and restored.
Since my backup was the Avatar 4.2.2 Rom, i just flashed the CM 10.1 and it worked.

Hi, I want to try out the CyanogenMod ROM for my G9 but if it doesn't work as expected I would like to go back to stock Rom.
But the CyanogenMod ROM requires CWM and I don't know if it is possible to reflash the Stock Rom using CWM?!
Boot into the Archos recovery screen and completely reformat the device from there. After that is done you will need to drop an official Archos firmware file onto the device to get it working again.
Thx, nice to hear. Have now installed CM 10.1 and it works fine so far.

Ok..so you have to Odin back to stock before installing this rom! Do not flash from cm! It will give errors and mess up.
I have a GT-N5110
Im trying to get out of Bootloop.
I tried to Unroot, got stuck in boot loop, so it was suggested that I flash recovery (done: PhilZ Touch 6) and then flash a rom (tying to find a rom to flash). Would rather do CM 10.2 rather than CM 11... but any links to CM 10.2 direct to CM11 Nightlies.
Was gonna go with an Omni Rom, but all the Omni roms are Kitkat too T_T
I just want Jelly bean again. I'll never flash a rom again, I swear I promise. I just want basic rooted Jelly Bean :crying:
Hello. Recently I've installed CM 10.2 with installer. Phone doesn't seem to be rooted,as installer may have locked it again? The thing is I want to root it and the question is ,do I do it the same way I found on some guide for 4.1.2 stock JB, where they first use Jeboo kernel, then root phone, or I go straight to root? I am confused since I cm 10.2 is android 4.3 jb version and I believe it has different kernel than stock already.
