To unlock the bootloader, I got there, it was after that it gets complicated.
I wanted to install ClockWorkMod Recovery Touch 6.0.4.6 except that on your forum I have not found the right .IMG file that corresponds with my firmware (which is the 17.1.2.A.0.314), so I look internet .IMG the corresponding file. Believing to have found, I renamed it to boot.img and I run the manipulation "fastboot flash boot boot.img" in the command prompt folder Platform tools. Except that my tablet hangs on the Sony logo, makes a funny noise, then reboot non-stop. By against ClockWorkMod Recovery Touch 6.0.4.6 been to install, I get to go overboard. Finally I got there until I make another bull****. I look a bit in the options and I saw that could deactivate or reactivate the bootloader, I know more, I clicked anyways. Now my tablet and not at all to start, I just feel a small vibration at the beginning that's all, no logo, no light. Please a solution?
If I uninstall ClockWorkMod Recovery Touch 6.0.4.6 it can walk again?
If I find the file IMG perhaps? (I think that I made the IMG file download mobile Z2 and not the tablet).
Help please Thank you
Excuse me I'm French and I use Google Translate

I am able to get flashboot to see the tablet but i cant find a working ftf file for the verizon z2 tablet variant.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!
A ftf file of the actualy facotry verizon z2 tablet would be a big step in the right direction....

[Q] Huawei U8520 Dual Sim problem with bootloop and no recovery menu

Hi all
first of all I apologize if this is not the right place to put my inquiry in, but I could not find the specific forum for this device.
I have serious problem with this android mobile phone. it is pretty good phone very useful with dual sim function one of them is 3G with WiFi Hotspot but the problem that I have rooted the phone with superoneclick and I have installed a lot of apps in it modifying some language files then when I restart the phone to let the changes take effect then the mobile keep restarting for infinite. Tried to get in to the recovery mode by using Call Button+Volume up+Power but the screen became blank. I spent the whole day searching the the internet to find the solution but with no clue. the problem the device is new and not supported that much in the public forums. could not find Stock Rom. Huawei website and bulletin was not useful.
is there any way to do it through USB or sdcard and How?
thanks in Advance
I am still trying to find a solution...
if you need it, I attached the original recovery dump to this post.
then you just need to get "fastboot" and then (after preparing your device for fastboot):
"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" (on a command line opened on the same folder where "fastboot" is)
or you can probably do it too on Linux if you prefer. if it is possible, you'll find the way for it on Google.
also, to access fastboot mode is POWER+VOL_DOWN (not volume up or a 3 key combination) and recovery is POWER+HOME (which you probably already know).
the system dump I can't send because I never made a dump.img of it and I am currently having a bootloop problem (I'll probably have to flash the original rom from a friend).

[Q] Possibly Bricked - Completely Lost

Hello everyone, been a lurker for some time, but have never needed to post before until today. I'm accustomed to rooting and installing custom roms but I've never had anywhere close to as much difficulty as Im having with this tf201. Heres the situation:
Not sure if you'd call this bricked, as I have total access to fastboot, adb, and CWM Recovery (version 5.8.3.4 touch btw). However my most recent attempt ended with totally wiping from the volume down+power menu (whatever its called). I can not turn the tablet off, as it automatically boots to the asus splash screen (and goes no further, naturally). It is unlocked, and my drivers do work (both fastboot and adb recognize the device), but I can not flash or push anything to the sdcard (with adb its a protocol failure, with fastboot I get "sending zip....OKAY writing zip....FAILED [remote : [FileOperationFailed]]) Don't know if it needs to be said, but I also can't simply drop the file on the sd card as if it were a media storage device as "my computer" does not recognize that it is connected (Oh I am using the naked universal drivers from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1998650 )
So yeah, Im at a loss as it seems like no one has had this particular problem before (also my connector cable works fine, so its not that). Any help would, of course, be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: On the tablet after trying to flash with fastboot it returns "Failed to process command flash:zip error (0x30003)"
Really? Not a single person has any idea? Could really use some help here...

You do not flash zips with fastboot.
First of all tell me where your "NVIDIA" logo is when you first power on, bottom center or bottom right?
The nvidia logo is in the bottom center of the "EEE PC Splash"
This is going to sound stupid, but did you verify the MD5 before you tried to flash it?

You are still on the ICS bootloader if NVIDIA is bottom center.
Go here http://www.teamw.in/project/twrp2/93 and follow the instructions for "Download - Recovery Image / Fastboot Method (using ICS or JB Asus bootloader)"
You will need to get the ICS blob file. Never flash the wrong recovery for what bootloader you are on or you can brick your device.
If you get it working and you want to upgrade to Jellybean bootloader there is instructions in post 2 of the Hairybean Rom thread. "Upgrade instructions for ICS"
edit.. to make it a bit easier for you.
Get this file http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/tf201/openrecovery-twrp-2.4.4.0-tf201-ICS.blob
Rename it to twrp.blob
Place the twrp.blob in the same folder as your fastboot exe
Go into fastboot and type
fastboot -i 0x0b05 flash recovery twrp.blob
Wait for it to finish and then type
fastboot -i 0x0B05 reboot
see if that works.
Damn, I had a feeling it was the bootloader issue that I messed up. I went searching all over for how to find out which one I had once I realized my potential mistake. Gonna give these steps a try
I just tried all your steps, twrp is on there and I was able to push both cm10 and gapps onto the tablet, but now the zips I pushed to the sd card arent showing up in TWRP...

If you now have twrp on there you dont need to push a file. Place the file on an external SD card on the root and plug it in before starting prime.
When going into TWRP go into install and select external SD. Pick your rom and then flash it.
Thanks a lot flumpster, everything's good now and Ive got cyanogen up and running smoothly. You've brought my tablet back to life and Ive learned a valuable lesson

Help With a (Potentially) Soft-Bricked Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet

Hey guys,
I am sorry if I am in the wrong place or am asking something wrong. This is my first time using these forums (and forums in general). If I need to be somewhere else kindly redirect me.
Anyway, I was with Verizon for a while but after some shady stuff I decided to break up with them. Beforehand I had bought outright a Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet. Because I did not want anything Verizon on it I decided to root it, and flash a good ROM onto it (Cyanogenmod was my idea, but at the time I don't think they supported it? I'm not good with ROMS). Anyway, the rooting was completely successful and I had a custom recovery (TWRP) installed. I was ready to flash the ROM. Unfortunately, I wasn't paying attention and grabbed the wrong ROM. What ended up happening is when I attempted to reboot after "flashing", the device didn't show anything on the screen and just kept vibrating. After some digging around I found it might be "soft-bricked". I had at one time found a guide that told me how to undo this by using SDK Tools and Fastboot Mode (blue LED), but cannot find the guide anymore.
I was wondering if ANYONE could help me undo this mistake, and get the tablet back to it's original state or with a nice compatible ROM. I am currently in Fastboot mode and it is plugged into my ASUS Laptop running Windows 7. Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you so much for taking time to read this.
EDIT: So a breakdown is I cannot interact with the tablet directly. There is absolutely no interface. Just a screen that won't turn on. Meaning if there is a method it can't be done on the tablet. The old guide I found was explaining how to do it through Windows while the tablet was plugged into it via USB.
Also the bootloader was never unlocked so I think that was also an issue.
First of all, if your bootloader is locked, you cannot install CM because you cannot change the Kernel. You can only use Sony-certified Kernels which won't work with CM. So Sony-based ROMs are your only options
But what you can do is:
- Go into fastboot mode (turn off your tablet, connect it to your PC and press volume up. If the blue LED shows up, you are in fastboot)
- With fastboot, you should be able to flash a ROM (preferably Android 4.4, so you can root again)
- Then root, install dual recovery
- Flash the correct ZIP
Alternative:
- Unlock Bootloader
- Flash recovery
- Flash CM

Can you simplify this? Where do I find the ROM (again, this was a tablet from Verizon so I assume on top of the Sony ROM I need the Verizon version of it?) And I understand I cannot install CM unless the bootloader is unlocked; do you know how to do this?
I'm confused by the first set of instructions as I cannot use the tablet directly. How will I flash the ROM (and which is the right ROM and where can I find it?) through the computer since the tablet can't be interacted with. There is absolutely no interface to interact with whatsoever. Which ROM do I download for the Verizon Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet and how do I flash it using Fastboot? I assume I do it thru my computer?
Sorry, but you'll have to Google a little bit - I haven't had your exact problem.
But as long as you can get into fastboot mode, nothing is lost.
There also is the Sony ftf tool or so, the Windows program name is Emma. This should be easier than using fastboot.
Also there is a sony site for bootloader unlocking. You can check whether your bootloader can be unlocked at all.

(Hard?) Brick Alcatel One touch pop s3 5050x need help

Firstable, i'm new to this forum so feel free to move my topic to the appropriate thread.
Hi, I need some help. I was given a bricked phone that I would like to fix.
phone: alcatel one touch pop S3 5050x
-Infinite boot loop when powered on
-it does not start with power button , only with the usb plugged in
-i have access to fastboot mode but not adb or recovery (i think USB debugging is disabled)
-when i try to flash CWM or use " fastboot boot recovery.img" i get weird white lines, like a lcd issue but the lcd seems fine, then it starts boot looping again and again
-i cannot find any stock rom in order to get clean boot.img, recovery.img and system.img and flash them
-i only found a TWRP backup but i cannot access any recovery mode or boot on it via fastboot
-converting TWRP backup files (.ext4.win) in .IMG files may help me
-Mobile upgrade won't detect the phone so it cannot download the appropriate ROM
-there is only a few files related to this phone, that's why it's so difficult to solve this.
I really need your help, i think every android brick/ bootloop is a challenge and i want to achieve it. :fingers-crossed:
English isn't my native language, i apologize for language mistakes.

Multiport_download_Z820_V1.0 (Service) .zip
322150B3090Z820V1.0.0B30.zip (rom for t-mobile)

I wish people would be clear about things when it concerns processes that could brick your device...anybody reading this i followed this video to get a basic idea of what to do:
youtube.com/watch?v=yslH3ito2lQ
Thank you for the files, Diego
Thanks a lot
was able to flash the stock rom from metropcs with the sp flash tool even though it would not work without the agent.bin found in this folder:
ZTE_Obsidian_Z820_MT6735M_MetroPCS_V1.0_(by_ztefirmware.com)
with sp flash tool version 5.1720
anyways are all the other people having problems loading the bootloader to get to fastboot mode?
i cant access fastboot mode it says waiting for device. adb recognizes the phone and so does fastboot even though once i reboot to bootloader from adb and from manual option in recovery all it does it restart the phone never gets to fastboot mode on both ways. i want to unlock the bootloader so i can flash twrp and set a custom firmware.
anybody with help please post a reply and a link that will support this model. i tried the tool all in one and adb same problem for fastboot
